Amazon reward my loyalty by increasing the price - Cynical

I have been gaslighted and ignored, lied to and all in the name of justifying dynamic pricing.
I am a designer and buy a thinning medium which I use as a lacquer for my work. It is pivotal to the whole process therefore I need a fairly constant supply. I have to rebuy the product every 6 weeks or so. Each time after around three purchases the price jumps up by 100% from the normal price. The normal price is what most art and craft shops in UK charge.
When I call to discuss this I am told a whole series of things that are all pure and utter B.S. I am told the original price is a knock down price. This is just a lie. They know it is a lie as well. They are told to say anything that makes the customer think they are wrong.
I am then told the item is sold by a third party - and they have no cotrol over the pricing. Another blatant lie. This item is sold by Amazon.
I am then told it will be investigated and I will be contacted within 48 hours. Again this is not true. Nobody has looked into it and I was told when I called just now that nobody is going to. Just like that. No discussion. No reason. Just ' we will not be looking into this '.
It is like dealing with an authoritarian dictator.
This is how business is done these days.

Dynamic pricing is how Amazon shows it's appreciation towards it's loyal customers. If you like a product be sure to check how much they charge you if you like it a lot. They will cynically up the cost.
They want your money not your love.
My loyalty is beginning to wear thin.
Very thin.

Forgot all about my computer

Forgot all about my computer. Expensive computer ordered paid for and 4 days later had to call to ask about it. They forgot to place my order! Now I need go without when I really need it. Amazon didn't seem to care. Will be shipped (to start on it's journey in 48-72 hours). No compensation..no nothing. Hell Temu will both appologize and offer compensation for any of their products that are late.

Piss poor service. I pay annual subscription and always get next day delivery for them to only delay it and bring it the following day after needing it! I mean whats the point in paying a pissing subscription for you to mess your customers about! Fuming

Amazon Prime Video somehow signed…

Amazon Prime Video somehow signed itself up (maybe mistake on the fire stick). I tried to reverse it and get my money back, impossible to contact anyone on the account page only drop down menus. Never thought Amazon can feel like a Scammer page but now it does, will be mor careful with anything to do with them. Now stuck watching their bad movie collection for the next month, since we can only afford 1 subscription, thanks Amazon !

Diminishing Amazon Customer Service

Ordered an Amazon provided item with a 2-day delivery. For 5 days, it was listed as DELAYED. During that time I tried to cancel the item several times and was refused. On the 5th day it shows a delivery date of 7 days away. I spoke with Customer service in the Philippines or wherever and was told the item could not be cancelled because it was being prepared for shipment and it would be delivered soon - 7 days from now... I spend about five thousand dollars a year with Amazon and I have never run into a situation like this. The customer service agent can only read from her script repeatedly. So now it is my responsibility to take the item somewhere to have it returned once it is received. Taking that into account, it makes me wonder why I don't just go to the store for everything and cut out Amazon altogether.

Delays, never delivered and straight up deceptive tactics.

Packages are constantly being delayed, or not even delivered. Promises of compensation through customer service chat are never delivered upon. Chat uses deceptive tactics to get you to exit the chat. There is no accountability for any promises of compensation station for poor customer experience made. Chats are immediately concealed or difficult to return to for reference.
Services are so poor that its almost moot to pay for them.

Worst customer service o have ever experienced! I need my number changed and can’t so it myself due to two step verification with my old number. I called them and then got told to contact them per email, only to get told that i must phone them to get myself verified so that they can make the change…long story short, I will be cancelling my prime today because they haven’t changed my number in days now and I am throwing money away having a prime I can’t even use…

Forget same day anymore

So now same day deliveries are coming 2 days later. Im so over paying for prime when you dont get what you pay for! Whats the point in ordering for same day when the deliveries change daily! Stop wasting money on the asshats and order from small businesses, at least it arrives on time! Calceling this garbage. Years as a prime member and I continually watch my money wasted. Ads in shows or pay more, same day next day deliveries now days late. Some orders arriving weeks, yes weeks later than advertised. I think they need a class action suit for false advertising and to bring down the conglomerates greed. Take your money back!

Don't accept the free trial

Please be careful when accepting the free trial on the amazon app. I accepted it and cancelled before it run out amd got confirmation of it being cancelled and no payments will ne taken . To then find out its through a third party.... very very poor as this was not to my knowledge .

Amazon is a whole bunch of bullshit. I pay 14.99 for a prime membership and they even upcharge for same day or next day delivery. Just for the product to be delayed I order once or twice a week and it’s always the same crap. They are a scam and most of all they don’t refund you the up charge for the shipping. I have cancelled this crap membership. Don’t buy into the lies about it. Customer service always tells you what you want to hear and lie to over the phone. DO NOT BUY A MEMBERSHiP!!!!!

Porch pirates

Well. We get delivery quite often these days. Some get delivered to our neighbors. I dont know why. Today, just now infact, we had 3 packages delivered. I said thank you she said youre welcome. A nice lady. 2 minutes later ,after I got pants on, I went out to get them. Another driver pulled up who was following the other and tried to Take our packages. Yes he did. I scooted them behind me and ask him what the hell he was doing. He said never mind as he left, in a hurry. So you have 'porch pirates' working for you🖕He continued to follow the other driver. WTF man!?! He comes back here and he wont leave walking!!!

Whilst the online customer care is excellent and try their best to solve the problems, more attention should be paid to meeting Amazon Prime specifications. Also, Prime Video no longer has the best films or series, and if there is a good one you usually to have rent or buy. Amazon should really read these posts, but I suppose, like all huge profit yielding businesses, they don't need to.

Prime = rip off your customers

Amazon prime is no longer beneficial as more and more products are not available for prime delivery unless they are double to triple the price of items that take 2 to 3 weeks, I recently tried to order a full length swimsuit for my daughter for school ( she has trouble regulating her body temperature) I could get a suitable item for around £18 but delivery was between 22nd and 31st of January, if I wanted an almost identical item next day it was £45, I ordered the item off Temu for £11 and that will be here before Amazons reasonably priced suit, so now if you want prime delivery expect to be ripped off, I’m cancelling prime
