I have been taking Amberen for about 3 weeks. I have been so tired that I sleep during the day 2-3 hours. I realized that the only thing I have done differently is start the Amberen. My fatigue has been so bad I started researching to see if anyone else taking Amberen has had this type of reaction. I will stop the Amberen immediately. Hopefully this fatigue will end soon.

Lifesaver. The first day I took Amberen my night flashes gone. Moodiness gone!!! I have been taking them for a while. If I don't take I get hot flashes. Amazing!Amazing !!.

I took Amberen for 3.5 weeks .. everything seemed okay in those first few weeks. It seemed to make my hot flashes less severe but did not stop them. Week three I noticed heart palpitations in the morning... then they would carry on throughout the day.. then the headaches started. I finally realised that the pills were the only thing I had changed .. I stopped taking them two days ago. The palpitations have lessened but are not gone get. I would rather have hot flashes than feeling like my heart is going to jump out of my chest. I hope it goes back to normal sooner rather than later. Don’t waste your money!!

Amberen WORSENED my hot flashes (profusely just about every other hour and would wake me up at night). It took me a while to figure out it may be the Amberen. I stopped it and my hot flashes have gone back to just mild events every few days. I purchased the 90 day/ea supply boxes (2 total) at Costco and was able to return one box for full, cash refund (I had used more than half of the other box, so they would not take that back). This product also has MSG in it.

I've been taking the menopause ambers for 4 days and can't believe how terrible I feel. The headaches started the second day but we're manageable with Tylenol. The third day the headache was worse and accompanied by neaseaus. today I woke up with a migraine, on the pain scale I'd say 9 or 10. Neaseaus, extremely sleepy, and constipation. I paid 32.50 for this garbage and want my money back.

Headaches! Very bad headaches that didn’t respond to ibuprofen or Tylenol.

Hi dear All. I bought Amberen from Costco and used it for for days.. I had been loosing my hair..I read other related review... now I am using natural pregnonolone 25 mg...and growth hormone which is helping better.. did anyone else had issue with loosing ur hair..

I started taking the purple box and after days of taking it started to feel my head kind of weird sensation and with pain ...i started feeling nausea too and insomia ..first i thought it was just stress but i bought a box for my sister in law and she mention that she was not taking them anymore cuz she started feeling weird too with headache and mood swings so that's when i knew it was the amberen pills

I have been taking this for 3 weeks and have had loose stools and am feeling more tired than usual.

So far I've started this product 7/12/20 and the only complaint I feel is sleepy...I did have a slight headache but that's normal sever allergies...I had loose diarrhea that has since normal...still have some hot flashes not as bad...also the purple and white box is for women before menopause orange and white is for women active in menopause...make sure your doing the rite one for your body

I started Amberen two days ago. I’ve already noticed a difference in the night sweats and hot flashes. Thank the Lord! I didn’t follow directions the first day and took it on an empty stomach. Dumb! I was nauseated. But I followed the directions from then on. Much better. I’m sleeping better too. My husband noticed right away that I was sleeping deeper. I’m dreaming again. Staying positive that this will make menopause bearable.

Just bought this and have yet to start it. I have severe hot flashes and night sweats and weight gain. I've already gone through that irritable stage as I started menopause pretty early. My only question is if this is going to bring back my period?

I have been taking Amberen for 8 days. I wrote my diary about it. I slept good but I feel so tired when I woke up. My body's super exhausted that I have to sleep for hours. Headache for 6 days it won't go if I won't take Tylenol. Nauseated everyday for 8 days. My skin got dry. The worst was I got constipated since I took it. Even if I drink a lot of water. Cramped legs every night. I haven't taken any estrogen in my life not even contraceptive pills but all this side effects that I have since I took Amberen this were all the description all my friends told me they had experienced while they were taking contraceptive pills. that's why I never ever take any of contraception. Yet here I am now feeling all the side effects that I tried to avoid for 45 years in my life. The only thing that made me rate 1 star is that I am so calm thought.

I really never do reviews, but wanted to share my experience. After suffering from hot flashes, I started taking Estroven Complete Menopause Relief and that helped a lot (no side effects), but I had heard about Amberen and saw it was on sale at Costco. I’ve taking it for 10 days and started noticing the headache and nausea issue others have reported along with increased heart rate and insomnia. Prior to starting Amberen, I had none of these symptoms so I’m no longer taking Amberen and will go back to Estroven.

Run from Amberen! I cannot believe how terrible this stuff made me feel!!! It made me feel nauseated, unable to focus, and irritable. Plus I developed a headache that lasted for a few days. The first time I tried Amberen and all of these side effects occurred I thought maybe it was a coincidence. So I stopped it and tried it again a week later. All of the same symptoms happened again! I felt so sick that I had to cancel my plans for the day. The product claims to be all-natural and not have any side effects. That is a complete lie!! I wish I had read other people's reviews prior to purchasing it! The product also has MSG in it which is known to cause health issues. So run as far as you can from Amberen. Hot flashes are nothing compared to the side effects of this product!!!!

I'm doing this review for my wife and this is what she writes: Started taking this yesterday and I felt sick to my stomach by midday. I thought it was because I took the pills two hours after eating breakfast. I tried it again today right after breakfast and I am feeling very nauseous. I'm just upset for having spent $30. I checked Google for any side effects and it said no adverse side effects. I should've done my research on the reviews.

Started amberen a week ago, and by the 3rd day 20-30mins after taking them I felt sick to my stomach. Now granted I thought it was because I hadn't ate anything but I tested the theory the next day. Ate breakfast popped my pills and 25 mins later I was in the restroom for 25mins with the worse stomach nausea ever. I normally have a headache all the time, so I cant blame the pills. But they do make me feel uneasy.

I took this product for 21 days and will never take it again! Within a week of taking them I started to feel a little anxious and nervous. I got a daily headache and tummy ache. Within the second week I was feeling worse and by week 3 I started getting palpitations and panic attacks. Not for one moment did I assume it was Amberen because it is “natural”. I spoke with my GP and he enquired what the ingredients were and as soon as I told him MSG, he told me to stop the medication. It has now been 3 days since I stopped and the panic attacks have subsided, but I still have a slight headache and tummy pain. The palpitations are there only first thing in the morning. Any idea how long before I will get completely back to normal. How long do these tablets stay in your system for??

I need to preface my review by saying I often have poor reactions to herbal supplements, but I was desperate to get some uninterrupted sleep so I decided to give Amberen a try after a lot of careful research. Sadly, after 5 days I determined it would not work for me. I want to share my symptoms here in case other women are feeling what I did and are wondering if Amberen might be the source.

I was fine the first two days. However, by the 5th day I was feeling extremely jittery and nervous. My stomach had that roller-coaster feeling and I just could not calm down. I also had a sour stomach; antiacids didn't help. It felt like I had consumed a lot of caffeine (none listed in the ingredients; it was just a similar feeling).

I stopped taking the Amberen and felt about 75% better the next day and totally back to normal the second day. I'm disappointed it didn't work for me but I'm grateful the side effects went away quickly.

Save your money! I have been taking Amberen for about 1 week. The first few days I didn’t feel any difference, improvement or negative effects. It wasn’t until day 4 when I started feeling very jittery and having stomach pains and headaches. Thought I had the flu so I stopped taking these pills. Wouldn’t you know it, stomach pains and all the other side effects gone. They said no negative side effects. Not true! Please review everyone’s experience with this supplement before buying.
