CFR Tutor
As a Tutor for a Community First Responder team I think this is a great resource to use with the team to promote discussion and knowledge sharing and to deepen our underpinning subject matter knowledge. Not all of the material applies to the CFR role but there is plenty there to keep us occupied for awhile :-)

A new paramedic ?
I am Italian and have worked for 30 years in an emergency / urgent ambulance. In Italy there are no paramedics and here I started from scratch starting from FRC3 / 4 and then FRC5 / 6. I find it very useful to update this AMBULANCE CPD site.

Took out a free trial, won't retain
Took out a free trial, as I've enjoyed some of the Facebook content, and was expecting to find challenging learning scenarios and evidence-based articles, but was sadly disappointed to find some basic errors in content and effectively just written out versions of existing guidelines. I sent some feedback and received no response. Similar content is available free of charge elsewhere.
Probably appropriate for first aiders or inexperienced clinical support staff, but sorry to say that ambulance clinicians and Paramedics (band 5 and up) should look elsewhere for more challenging content.

Although you may not have enjoyed the content, we do have hundreds of members who do enjoy and benefit from our site on a daily basis. All of the CPD content is referenced following mainly UK guidelines and passes our internal clinical governance tests prior to being released on our site. We understand that some guidelines and practices may be different in some areas/regions/countries, but as we are UK based, we stay with the most up to date and evidence based practices and guidelines for the Country.
We cater to a wide range of Ambulance Service skill sets, from First Responder to Paramedic, as set out on our website, and we aim to provide inclusive learning for all members. This follows our Company goals: 'To offer quality CPD that is interesting and beneficial to users, that is constantly evolving to help meet individuals’ learning styles, and that is easily accessible to all'
Although you feel that the content wasn't challenging enough, we have numerous Paramedic, EMT, ECA members who feel that it is, and that it benefits them in their CPD. As we continue to grow, we have further plans for more diverse CPD and content to be added, which will further the scope of content on our site.

Certificates are a minor let down
It’s an excellent resource, but my only disappointment is the standard of the certificate you get once you’ve passed an exam.
It just looks too childish. I’ve cancelled my membership about a month ago due to this as I didn’t want to show anyone as they didn’t look very credible.
The sites an excellent resource with some really very credible content but it’s just the certificate that lets it down for me.
