Most of the entire experience (ship, staff, dining) was explemary. There does, however, need to have more done to assist and accomodate passengers with mobility issues. On 2 occasions in port, the walk to the bus was long and uphill and on the disembarkation day, not only was it raining, but the walk was long and there was a golf cart to take only one person at a time up to the bus.

Our Hudson River Cruise was wonderful in every way!
Our Hudson River Cruise was wonderful! American Cruise Lines design and build their own boats...and the American Eagle was beautiful, as was our suite...with a Very nice bathroom design, and elevators that would be the envy of any building! And the STAFF is ALWAYS so friendly and helpful....they truly want to ensure you have a lovely trip. And of course the FOOD!! ANYTHING you can think of for your sit-down Breakfast....then Lunch and Dinner Menus with several taste-tempting selections provided "early" so you can anticipate more treats...every one of our experiences was DELICIOUS, served by very attentive staff. Side Trips were GREAT too! Can't say enough good about them....they're our favorite cruise line!

Always a positive experience
This was our 4th cruise with American Cruise Lines and we had a wonderful time. The boats are clean and staffed with a wonderful friendly, professional crew. This time was no exceptions. The food is always good but Chef Nick on this cruise was outstanding as was the pastry chef. We had a lot of fun excursions to pick from. The only disappointment was there was no whale watching excursion offered. We would definitely cruise with ACL again.

Excellent cruise on the Columbia/Snake rivers.
The best thing about our cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers was the scenery. Also important was the comfort of the riverboat. Our cabin was comfortable and well maintained by the staff. Meals were plentiful and always very good to delicious. Our chef and server were excellent and very attentive to caring for my wife's celiac needs.
We thoroughly enjoyed the ship's itinerary and had a great time on several excursions. Another characteristic of ACL cruises that I greatly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed was the daily historical and cultural presentations. These relevant presentations by knowledgable and entertaining individuals greatly enhanced the entire cruise.
The only negative that we experienced was the flight back home. We had to fly to Dallas to get to Philadelphia which added another day to our travels.
Otherwise, well done ACL! We've already booked our next riverboat cruise with ACL.

I really enjoyed the American Cruise Line
Cruise. The ship was great. It was clean and being on the 5th deck, the scenery was beautiful. I enjoyed all the excursions I did, but would liked a little more hiking. The food on the ship was excellent, really enjoyed the fish dishes.
Best of all were the American Cruise Line staff and support personnel, they were all excellent. Only downer was Embassy Suites 27% service charge, wish Iknew about before I ate there.

The cruise was handled so well
The cruise was handled so well. Staff so respectful of seniors. Our cabin and attendant was wonderful. Loved the morning refill for the fridge and the sweet treats.
Our server was wonderful and know how we like things as we sat at his table all the time.
Scenery was wonderful, lecturer was amazing. All in all, it was so prefect that we signed of for another cruise on board.

This was our first time on the East…
This was our first time on the East Coast. So glad we picked American Cruise Lines to experience it. The port experiences were very interesting, plus there were many to choose from. The complimentary ones we could choose from were just as good.
The crew were outstanding, very friendly and happy. Big smile greeted us every where.

Only problem we had was our luggage got…
Only problem we had was our luggage got lost and we had no way to get to the airport to pick it up before we left. It came in the morning and we had to figure out a way to pick it up since Delta would not deliver it to the ship. Luckily, my sister was on the cruise and had to hire a taxi to go get it. I had hoped the cruise line would help us with this issue.

It was one of my favorite cruises
It was one of my favorite cruises. The officers are dream team. The whole crew worked together as a functioning unit. They always helped each other no matter their title.
The excursions were great. Howard , the speaker, was excellent.
And the food was so delicious.
I particularly loved the day cruising. This was my first longer cruise and I loved sailing during the day in order to rest, relax and enjoy being on the ship.
