Defective tide anchor sofa - store giving hard time about replacement

Purchased the Tide Anchor sofa December 14th, 2025. When it was delivered we noticed 2 cushions seemed well used/not as firm as the others but decided to give it time thinking maybe it was how it was stacked during storage/delivery. By late January early Feb 2026, the couch is now creeking under the weight of a 15lb dog. Sounds like its coming apart. Immediately contacted our salesman, who advised it would be under manufacturer warranty and to call Peak Living. Peak advised they had no issue repairing or replacing it, but store had to request it. Called store back, they said not their responsibility SEVERAL TIMES. After 3 weeks of back and forth I finally got the store to contact Peak. The store did not call me with a follow up i had to call them - again.
Erica advised me they would order the new couch, but WE had to bring the old one back, pickup the new one .... and oh by the way, you'll have to keep your old cushions the store will keep the ones from the new sofa. Uh... im sorry what?! We paid for an entire sofa, and thats what this needs replaced with, including the cushions it comes with. Secondly... why do WE have to bring it back when WE paid for delivery initially? All this after 3 weeks of them telling me 1- they dont handle the manufacturing warranty, 2 - that peak said if we didnt buy a warranty there was nothing they or the store could do. 3 weeks of peak telling me - that the store is 100% incorrect, and thats not what Erica was told when she called.
So are they now trying to scam us on a replacement? Was the original couch really just a "floor" model or was it actually BRAND NEW?! Salesman said brand new but I have my suspicions. We just want a couch thats worth what we paid for it $1500+ delivery, that all cushions are same height and do not sink (forgot to mention, the 2 cushions in question also sink into the couch in the same spots), and doesnt creek like its coming apart! We should never have had to deal with this to get the issue handled, this is NOT how you keep customers. This was the boardman, ohio location. We will be following up with the store to get our replacement - cushions and all - because this is ridiculous.

Purchased two different laundry centers from American freight in 2022. First one gave me multiple issues but fortunately GE responded and finally replaced with a new unit, all within the first few months. THe second unit purchased 06.03.22 died 03.01.25, sealed gear transmission is gone on this crappy Frigidaire center model FLCE7522AW3, $1500 gone in two years, told to just throw away! Does American Freight buy damaged or broken appliances for resale???

This Store Is Awesome

The American Freight Furniture store on the Northeast Evangeline Thruway Is my desired preferred store. The manager is very respectful, very kind and pleasant. The employees are absolutely amazing. They take care of business. They help when need their products are very nice. I have a stove and a chest for the bedroom. And I love both of them.

Great service on washing machine purchase

I just purchased a washing machine from the Fredericksburg location. I wanted to compliment the salesperson named Giovanni. We was very kind and professional. He took the time to research the features I was looking for on the washer. He even plugged the machine in and set up the app so we could see what options it had.

Evelyn the manager at the American…

Evelyn the manager at the American Frieght in Tucker, Georgia was the absolute Best. She helped me find just what I was looking for with my kitchen appliances. Her customer service was so good that I plan to wait for the rest of my favorite appliances for my kitchen to come in at her location.
Even though I live 3 hours away it will be worth the trip because I know she gives the best care and treatment to those making large purchases. I’m so thankful I discovered the American Frieght in Tucker Georgia.And Thank you Evelyn for the excellent service!!

I bought furniture from this company…

I bought furniture from this company and since they couldn’t deliver it when promised, I cancelled
And asked for
A
Refund. After waiting three weeks I got a checkin the mail, took it to my bank and the damn thing was no good! No I will never spend another penny in this store or any of their stores. And I will pass around this by word of mouth, and social media

Please get better with delivery time

Bought a fridge. I think the price was decent. It was just hooked up for a few hours now. Fingers crossed that it works fine with no issues. No complaints about that so far.

My only complaint is how in the dark we were about the delivery. I got a text at noon that my fridge was picked up. It didn't show up until 4 hours later.

I believe the delivery workers are 3rd party. Please either hire more workers so they deliver in a more timely manner or at least create a queue list so I'm able to see where I am on the list for all the deliveries. Or perhaps have a tracking device so I can see where the delivery truck is. Or have the workers send an additional text when they are heading over right now.

My old working fridge was full of food so when I saw the text that the fridge was picked up. I didn't start emptying it until 1 hour later. It still took 3 hours for the delivery to come. Maybe 30-45 minutes to remove my old fridge and put in the new one.

That's a lot of time for my food to be sitting out.

I bought a refrigerator online

I bought a refrigerator online, after having the delivery date and time changed on me 4 times in 2 days it was finally delivered. It was immediately malfunctioning, and they have an "all sales are final" policy, so I'm stuck dealing with the manufacturer to get it repaired after paying $1100. Never again, American Freight is a joke.

I will never purchase anything from…

I will never purchase anything from American Freight again! Purchased a living room set. The love seat broke within a month. Filed a claim, they sent out a tech a month later. Was told he needed to replace the frame, and they would ship one to my residence. Waited 2 months and contacted them, said it would take 12 weeks. Waited another 12 weeks and went on line to inquire. Had a message that they were going to replace it, and to contact the store. Store gave me the run around, and without even checking to see if they had it, said they would have to order it. Said it would take 2 to 3 weeks. They were very nonchalant, and acted very un interested. Do not buy an extended warranty, nor buy any furniture from this place. Big mistake!!!!!! You have been warned!

Dresser

Tell me how I go in there and ask for a product I saw online that comes with a mirror , I buy it and because I didn’t ask for a mirror the dresser comes with they don’t include it ? Then she says I’ll give it to you for a certain amount so u won’t have to pay the full price for it , Then when I ask the price it’s 90 dollars ? That was kind of a dirty move .

The people at the store were…

The people at the store were professional and helpful. The people who delivered my dryer however were drunk. I was so upset I called my neighbor to come over so I was not there alone with them. They were adding a cord to my dryer and I was worried they would connect it wrong. They left driving down the street repeatedly beeping their horn. Their comments were far from professional. A really troubling experience

Damaged front door and fridge had old food

Awful service experience. Ordered a fridge online which went relatively smoothly. On delivery, the "new out of box" fridge was delivered with old food inside of the unit. The delivery personnel also damaged our front door when removing our old fridge. It was supposed to be covered by their insurance, but it has over 1.5 months and we still haven't received any communication in order to replace the damaged front door. With getting unpaid damage to our home and a fridge which is clearly used, we will most likely never use this company again and would recommend all others stay clear. It isn't worth the perceived cost savings.

Don’t EVER purchase from American Freight

Very cheaply made furniture very thin cushions on the couch and loveseat I can’t even sell it on the street for the amount I paid that’s how bad the products are I’ve emailed the company but no reply I wanted them to be aware of the bs their selling and scamming hard working individuals out of their money only to say no returns well stop selling bullcrap just close the whole store down at this point
