I’ve attended several shows, joined in on the jams, and taken multiple classes. It’s been a fun experience every time. The vibe is so intimate and family-like, making me feel welcome from the start. Peter, as art director, brings an incredible amount of energy and fun to every performance and class. You can tell he really knows his stuff and is passionate about it.

The shows are pure entertainment and always surprising. Just yesterday, I watched a vampire movie parody, and it was a blast!

It is always nice to see a show where both the audience and the performers are having a great time. It was a fun and entertaining evening with a really positive vibe!

Mr. Graff is really fun to work with. It was quite easy to book a course for my class, and he was very forthcoming and helpful. He worked with my students, aged 15–18, and was able to engage them and help them leave their comfort zone in a truly fun and cool way. The games and activities are very creative and entertaining, and I think they were great for targeting the team spirit of the class. I can only recommend his courses to teachers, especially English teachers. Thank you!!!

The atmosphere and overall feeling when taking a class or watching a show of the american improv group is fantastic. I felt welcome the minute I started the classes and quickly noticed the difference in my self confidence after taking one of Peter’s classes. The same joyful energy can be felt when watching one of the amazing shows at Aera! I highly recommend, to anyone who wants to have fun and let go of their worries for a night!

The best quality improv courses and the funniest improv shows in Vienna. I took their 101 class to improve on my communication skills, but I found it so good and fun, that I continued with all the other courses. If you want to step out of your comfort zone, or just simply want to have fun, and meet great people, I strongly suggest!

This improv class is the first for me in many aspects. I signed up the classes to become comfortable with speaking in front of a group of people. There were moments in the classes when I had fears and doubts about myself, but Peter and Anna have provided a safe environment for me to step outside of my comfort zone and be normalised with mistakes. Through the classes I have learnt a lot about my blindspots, which I am able to apply to my work life to improve my listening and communication skills. In addition to this, I have met a lot of nice people and have had a lot of fun from the classes! I would highly recommend this!

Improv is a fascinating skill. It is always so much fun to get together and create something from scratch. The people in the group are amazing and I have so much fun playing with them. Peter creates a safe environment where it is okay to make mistakes and learn. It is about having fun, meeting great people and also learning something new about yourself and challenging yourself. One of the best experiences of my life. 100000/10 totally recommend!

Attending Peter's American Improv events and classes was an exhilarating experience. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, feeling like a friendly community where everyone is keen to grow. I was particularly impressed by the diverse range of creative exercises that catered to both the spontaneous and the theoretical minds. The group is supportive, making it a safe space to make mistakes and evolve. The first class turned improvisation from a one-time course into a regular hobby for me. Highly recommended!

Super improv classes! Highly recommend to anyone looking to develop their skills and have some fun! You will challenge yourself, release your creativity and take your improv to another level in a supportive and positive environment.

The improv at American improv is possibly the hardest, but most reward kind. The teaching is of great quality, fun, and welcoming. An experience I would recommended for everybody.

I took 3 courses and took part in many open sessions and loved every minute of it! The courses are very well structured and the atmosphere always playful and easy-going. Definitely recommend for those looking for a friendly environment where you feel welcome from day one.

I have taken two courses with Peter and have learned so much about myself personally and as a performer.
I would recommend an improv class to anyone; for confidence building or for learning about improv as an art form.

I’m currently taking an improv course with American Improv.
Anna and Peter are great teachers, in just a few classes the whole group is able to come up with improvised scenes. Week after week you can really see a significant improvement.
Plus, it is a lot of fun!

Would recommend to anybody, no matter their level of expertise --from rookie to pro!
I had little experience with improv tether, so I was looking a place where I can deepen my knowledge about improve techniques. But I found much more, an amazing crew to have fun with, a safe space to make mistakes while learning from them, and great teachers!

Total life changer! Such a great experience. The courses provide so much more than only learning how to improvise. I try as many times to come to the Jam on mondays at Cafe Aera. Can't wait to start the new course. Thanx to Peter.

That was the best investment with my time in Vienna. Great classes, very organized groups, and Peter giving clear boundaries and instructions for the group to feel safe and accepted. I love it.

Extremely funny and fascinating how stories are created. The characters are just great and very engaging! Highly recommend!
