I actually tried to cancel my order after reading all of the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised with a fantastic product and timely arrival. Paid extra for expedited shipping, and the jacket arrived in TN 11 days after placing the Order. VERY high quality, thick leather with strong stitching, zippers, and embellishments. It was folded but not "wadded up" or wrinkled. Can only speak for myself, but highly satisfied with everything from ALJ.

Jacket is GARBAGE!!! Low quality, iron on patches, worth about $10. Avoid this site/seller at all costs. Shameful they get away with selling this China junk.

The return policy is atrocious. They are NOT based in the USA and their sizing is way off. Terrible company. Don’t buy from this company.

The jacket was shipped in a "wad" ... crushed into a small envelope. I ordered an XL; it was "maybe" a Large ... way too small. And the quality of the leather is poor. To return the jacket means sending it back to Pakistan ... good luck with that. I would not recommend this jacket.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Purchased a San Francisco 49ers starter jacket (before I realized this company isn't even based in the US mind you). I actually own the exact jacket I purchased from them since this was to be a replacement, so I have the best point of comparison one could have. The 49ers colors are red and GOLD. What I received was some cheap fugly BRONZE monstrosity with cheap ass embroidery. Not even going to waste time and energy trying to return it since they are based in Pakistan and I already know how that story is going to go. I'll charge it to the game and give this peace of crap to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Ok so I can’t give a proper star but so far is not looking so good. I order a jacket on the 23rd of January and payed the additional fast delivery $38 to get it between 7-10 days well today is Feb 10th 17 days later and I still haven’t received it I’ve emailed them but I haven’t heard anything back. I’m hoping I can at least get the jacket. Now this is why I’m giving a one star for the lack of delivery service with extra fees. Which so far they failed now once or if I get the jacket then it all depends on the quality so I can give a real proper star score after all $160 is a lot of money. So I hope it arrives soon.

Scam artist. Thankfully I know enough about selling online to trip the guy up. He’s currently being investigated by my bank, paypal, action fraud, the ncsc, his web host and the authorities in Pakistan, who from what the gentleman on the phone said to me, have quite strict rules on theft and deceit.

All these other hateful reviewers worried me that I was getting ripped off. But, luckily the best possible outcome happened! I got my prototype Alex Mercer REPLICA from ALJ and it exceeded my expectations! I’m so satisfied and will be ordering again. Genuine leather and TWO inside pockets so thats a bonus. Placed order on the 4th and got it on the 29th.

I ordered this late at night while drinking and thought it was a little odd that americanleatherjacket.com billed through a random PayPal account in Pakistan. I thought it may be a scam or low quality, but was pleasantly surprised when 2 weeks later I received a real leather jacket in the mail! It looks as advertised, fits well, and seems to be good quality leather, very happy and would recommend to anyone.

Just like “H” below...I also bought a $170+ jacket...the “John Dutton Yellowstone” jacket. It took 3 weeks to arrive and, upon opening the pkg, I knew that I had made a mistake. Poor quality product so I submitted immediate return auth request. To date: ZERO responses after multiple attempts from “customer support team” that is a GMAIL address. A painfully expensive mistake. Buyer Beware!

I paid 170.00 for a leather jacket that looked like it came from the dollar store. I attempted to return the unopened item to "Pakistan" not America and will not get an answer this company is a fraud

This is one of those scam companies from China! Yep - our jacket did not fit and when we requested a larger size, they tried to get out of replacing it. Here is the email I received: "Sorry that you are facing a problem.You can exchange it with which ever size you want. But exchanging process is too costly as you will have to pay for both way shipments.Moreover there are some times custom issues while returning the jacket like it sometimes stuck in custom.We can offer you same jacket with 20% discount and keep the old jacket with you, if you don't want to pay both way shipment fees."

Ordered the black green lantern leather jacket it came quick and was awesome I ride my motorcycle with it on and it’s super warm no wind penetrates at all great quality I recommend this company for sure

I give one star, because the jacket had been delivered. The quality is VERY low. Fabric is very cheap and sew is not properly done. Not at all properly... Size is not matching at all, we measured and what we got is not in accordance with the size chart. Nothing is like shown on the picture. In addition we had to organize custom declaration and we had to pay additional fees for custom. Now we have paid $190 for a trash jacket. Do not order there...

I'm a cosplayer from NY and purchased a leather jacket/pants set from them for a shoot. (CW Arrow Suit) The pieces arrived in a very reasonable time and were very high quality. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I am very impressed. Not only does this company sell what you purchased. It is literally hand crafted. worth every Penny. I chose real leather. It came made with real leather. I ordered the Edward Elric coat from Full Metal Alchemist. It's very nice. They even crafted there own Logo on the inside of the coat. Looks very Professional. Words can't describe how ecstatic I am. I purchased a long sought-after varsity letterman's bomber jacket of the kind actor KJ Apa wears as Archie Andrews on the CW series RIVERDALE. I ordered this jacket on the heels of getting one from another online seller whose product was cheap and flimsy, so buying from ALJ was a leap of faith. Discovering after sending my payment that "American" Leather Jackets was actually in Pakistan had me worried. I needn't have stressed.

The staff was very attentive to my concerns and kept in contact, making sure they had the best fit for my size. They even provided illustrated charts to guide me in how best to get the proper measurements. When the jacket arrived, I was pleased with the finished product. Unlike the lightweight costume versions of the Riverdale jacket you'll find in Halloween shops, THIS is a genuine letterman's bomber jacket, with the real weight and strength a varsity player would have.

The fit is excellent and the resemblance to the photo used in the listing is almost exact. The yellow of the sleeves is a bit brighter than those shown in the photos, which is actually closer to the version seen on the CW show, so I see that as a bonus. The only drawback, if we can call it that, is that the "R" is in a slimmer font than the broad letter seen in the listing photos. It is genuine chenille and sewn on well, as with any actual high school jacket, so I'm willing to overlook it.

Overall, a positive experience with some conscientious people who turn out good work. I'm glad I ordered from American Leather Jacket.
