American Trucks Robbed me of my money…
American Trucks Robbed me of my money and i am going to take action over it. I HIGHLY URGE ALL OF YOU TO BEWARE!!!! My order number was 30-37000800 which was placed in December for headers. After paying someone hundreds of dollars to put them on it turned out they were WARPED from BBK. I paid for the extended warranty as well. Of course they wouldnt cover any of the added labor costs as it's in their fine print and i didn't have to money immediately to get them removed to send back and get new ones. At that point i asked them to REFUND me atleast for the warranty portion as i had just bought and they did nothing. Six Months later i still wasnt refunded for the extended warranty money i was promised to get back and in my opinion it was THEFT and deception by them! I will forever leave this review and use multiple accounts to continue leaving reviews, unless they send me the money back i was told i would recieve! Absolutely disgusting for a company to do this to a consumer so BUYER BEWARE! Take your business elsewhere before they screw you over as they have done me. Let this be the warning you all need and deserve. If American Trucks want to refund me the extended warranty money like i was told they can email me at the address on file for that order number because as of right now i am sick to my stomach over the scams companies get away with and pass on to the consumer for their negligence!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with AmericanTrucks regarding your request to be refunded for mechanic bills and the 3 year protection plan you purchased for the BBK 1 3/4 Inch Shorty Headers that you purchased in December 2025.
We are sorry to hear that the item you received was defective. This item is covered by a one year manufacturer warranty and that would cover any material or manufacturing defects in the item. We do also show that you purchased a 3 year Protection Plan for this item. We reached out to the warranty company and they shared that they did not receive a claim to be processed for this order. When you contacted us initially you shared that you did not want to set up a return/replacement due to the additional labor it would cost to have them removed from your vehicle. We would have set up a return and replacement for you, since they were defective and they do have a one year warranty.
In reviewing your order, we do show that one of our supervisors did reach out to you and they left a voicemail confirming that we do not reimburse customers for labor fees. They noted in the message that they left their telephone number if you could like to discuss this situation further but they did not receive a call back.
We submitted a request to reimburse you for the Protection Plan on this item. This refund will be issued back to your original payment method.

Purchased front and rear shocks from americantrucks.com the first shipment the rear shock was leaking oil all over the place they replaced. It sent another one. It was leaking. Oil package was damaged like an open box. Will never buy from this company ever again

I ordered a set of step rails for my…
I ordered a set of step rails for my truck. I checked all the right boxes and when the step rails came in and they were too short. Customer service said that those rails should’ve never been sold to me due to them being open boxed already and the previous purchaser had the same issue as me. Now I have to Reebok the step rails send them in and then wait for a refund. Meanwhile, I’ve already purchased another set.
Updated Response: your website is the one that listed the item as “open box”. Not a representative.
Your listing is wrong for the steps. Both times the boxes on the label itself specified double cab. I ordered crew cab twice and got the same item number twice.
For the time it took to repackage steps, print off labels, retape package, wait on FedEx to pick them up and the only compensation I see was a $20 voucher…. Get real.

Caliper covers
See pics. There fitment charts are incorrect. They sold me the wrong size caliper covers that destroyed my brand new rims. It dragged the weights off while carving a huge groove in my new truck rim with no credit. I called them around 10 time only to get the runaround and a bogus extension to a supervisor that doesn't exist.
