I haven’t even attempted to play, but the site needing access to my files threw me off. I came to check out reviews (thought it may be a scam) and I am glad that I did. I live in Ohio and I look to play for small potatoes just to pass time. I’ve already tried betonline, but they have a habit of cracking me something fierce. The few times that I have won, I played completely recklessly. Any suggestions for real money iOS apps for Ohio players?

I would give it zero if I could.

You can be sitting at an empty table and all of the sudden every chdir is filled at the exactly the same time. totally normal. You'll get disconnected constantly, but for some reason the same people who call raises with 73 off and drill houses on the flop yet fold everything else never get disconnected. Endless one to three outers on the river with people calling pot sized bets with shit like 22 on an AKQ monotone board only to hit an off suit 2 on the river after putting in 75% of their stack. Totally normal. AK skunking AA over and over. Having top top to a set is the standard flop on ACR along with boat vs boat vs nut flush. Standard. You hands never hold the percentage they should and you'll constantly get your shoves called by trash like A2 off vs your AK and they'll flop the deuce every single time.

Save your money. You'll never win here. Variance is bad enough with legit live sources of play...not all live is a guaranteed legit game in 2025 now.

Poker is a joke now.

Edit: ( customer service contacted me with in 24 hours on the subject, but say their is no issue, as its happend all year long to me on mobile app just be wary on mobile)

In the end I think , after playing for months, I'm still in the negative on profit. A huge issue they have is. The mobile app. I literally have lost simply because of this fact. It happens constantly. On acr poker mobile. They will constantly disconnect the game and you have to relogin. Meaning the screen just goes black and you have to relogin. Only to see your hands folded by the time you log on. Well this happens literally on your winning hands, as well another glitch I have had occur is the issue of auto folding my hands. Like AA or 22 when i would have connected a 2 and won against other hands. Then these auto folds happen. then a short time later you try play a good hand given to only be a trap hand, a hand that's a loser like AK or QQ etc.lastly, the last glitch to elaborate on is another issue causing me to fold mid hand when you don't want to , and this happens the most!!!!! If your in the middle of a hand, and have the winner hand you know it for sure,or even if your in a hand it's a loser. Randomly it happens.... when in a hand and if you click from chips to big blinds( like to see how many big blinds you have insead of chip count) it will cause you to HAVE TO fold.the button to call pops up but it will state a different stack size then what your opponent bets, (persay 15.3bb to call is the bet to call ,but it will say 13bb on the button to click to call) then when you click on it , it folds your hand. This right here is the biggest glitch that has caused harm. I Havent read a single negative review that has this happen to others. I will Run hours only to have these things happen. Or better yet with in the first hour. Then i end up re buying in like the issue wont happen again. And then I seem to tilt and lose my money because I do absolutely good up until i lose to glitches,maybe this doesn't happen on PC. But for anyone on Mobile I don't recommend it. And these glitches doesn't happen everyday but it does. As well I go through a bunch of games with this happening all of the glitches and losing because of it ,and I think these would be my good variance games, then start hitting bad variance and it have games it doesn't happen (the glitches) but it's total card dead games, and all the hands that would win are like 53 off in utg plus one. Then AA in the BB is a loser. Just feels rigged. Quite literally another big issue, constantly crap hands are good and premium hands are losers. But the deposits and withdrawals work fine once verified. I think the guarantees are awesome and I like the game. Tons of choices from mico to high roller.BUT I lost a ton of games to glitches and have been unheard. I hope uses at acr fix this. I have been playing on here since the end of last year till now, and uses do a million Verizon updates on the app. But none of this is ever fixed.overall.....
3,5-5 stars is what I give ,the site and games offered are great ,money is easy to move in and out , just big fields, and mobile app glitches

So American card room has become the latest in a long line of online casinos who influence rng to adapt to certain groups of players. This code is called an action flop. The bots that shut you down? You know the ones lol. They are programmed like wall street trading algos now. It's good practice though for live games you will improve but don't give them too much money just stay with the low tables

These crooks literally stole over $10k from me over the course of several years of playing off and on.
I am a professional poker player but can't win for the life of me on this website.
After doing extensive statistics on my hand history, I have come to the conclusion that their software is rigged against me.
It is the same story every time. Right after a big win, they put me on a much longer and much bigger losing streak. In order to give me hope, in the earlier part of the tournies, ACR allows my good hands to hold up or even allows me to win against stronger hands by catching my outs.
However, once it gets closer to the prize pool, ACR MAKES SURE that no matter what hand I have, it always gets cracked. I have compiled data between earlier rounds and later rounds and the data is clear. They've rigged the site against me somehow.
Over the course of the last 7 days, I've had 0/10 of my strong hands hold up from the flop. In all 10 of these instances, other players with weaker hands on the flop have sucked out on me by the river. It's not normal...and it's certainly not natural.
I expect to lose many times...but not EVERY time. You don't flip a coin and get tails 10 times in a row.
I'm a believer in variance over the course of the long term which is why I gave this site a chance. There are apparently tons of players winning on here consistently according to sharkscope. What do they do differently from me. Nothing. The difference is that their hands hold up and mine don't.
It doesn't matter if I play 1,000 hands on this site or a million, variance doesn't exist here. It's always the same story. They simply won't let me win. They take my money and give it to the players they favorite. That is all.

If your are trying to throw money away play this site. I have played for many years. This site is def rigged with software you can tell. Played freerolls for years never actally made more then 27cents. Chip leaders are 96% likely to hit the card they need to win

To add on to my previous review. I have been a profitable live player in either Holdem or Omaha for nearly 20 years. On this bot infested and rigged site it's been impossible to make anything.

The last hand I played there in Omaha as an example at $2/4 with 400 buy in: I have AsAcKsQc on the button. UTG raises to pot, I then re-raise to pot again, UTG calls. Flop comes Ad5s10c. UTG immediately bets pot, doesn't even check it to me. I raise, UTG goes all in and I go all in for 102BBs. What do they have!? KdJh4c7c. Yes they have king high!?? Guess what two cards come out next. That's right, a 6d and then 3s so they make a straight and I lose.

Its completely a scam. Bot infested, house players in which the site can easily give fixed outcomes vs specific players. If you want to gamble money and actually make a profit start copy trading on weex site

Always on prolonged losing streaks can deposit 100's of times a week as soon as you start winning you can only withdraw 1 time a week everything is done so you cant withdraw multiple times ... no live chat just that stupid chat bot that cant understand anything your asking about overall review 1 star not worth your money!!!!! a little update 3 days straight of losing to straights on river and 3 outers lol yet the cards are random lol another $300 deposited tonight took jj vs 10 10 quad 10s hit every draw when i was allin hit against me so obvious they rig accounts to lose im offically done with these scam artists

Deposited for the first time in May and won a $12k tournament on the first night. All was going well and I even ground it up to around $20k. Decided to withdraw around $4k via Bitcoin. That's when all hell brook loose.

It would be no exaggeration to say I lost around 200 80% fav all ins pre flop in the space of 5 days. On one tournament I lost to Quad 10s with Aces full first hand of a $500 dollar tournament. I am in no doubt this site is rigged to hell with bots filling most of the seats. They offer guarantees they cant meet and when it doesnt bots will stack you over and over for them to recoup their money. AVOID AT ABSOLUTELY ALL COSTS. The site is unregulated tells you all you need to know

I’ve had a lot of fun playing on ACR over the years and Iv seen it go through massive changes since I started playing and it seems like they’ve attempted to clean the gameplay up but there are still things about the software that just downright suck. I have a massive problem with what we used to call “hot seats” on play money games this is when a player plays as poorly as possible, yet wins 95% of the pots within an extended period of time I’ve seen this go from extremes like buying in for 250k play money and Eventually racking up to 100 million + within several hours just going all in every hand and eventually, the player would just quit from being bored of winning. It’s not poker if I’m gonna automatically know I’m gonna lose it a certain player in a hot seat. I have more bones to pick with ACR. I was in a Hold em cash game a long time ago with around $80 and within a short period of time got faced with trip aces vs trip kings both hands were pockets, This is extremely rare, never had it happen before, after about 13 years of playing poker and it just so happened in the biggest cash game Iv played on acr at the time. 1 last thing, I’ve played a lot of high/low off ACR so I know what to expect when it comes to the power of A2. This company is clearly throttling back the wins of ace deuce in high/low, normally I would rarely lose with the hand on other poker games but on this software I rarely win.

Just cancel them make them lose the business. With all the crooked algorithm playing. I'll focus on a free of algorithm play site just collecting on rake and be satisfied. These guys are pigs. Pigs go to slaughter. Stop playing there. Sorry guys gave you a chance and you didn't change after 6 years. So you can cash out!

Everyone is correct it’s a bs trash site where employees are rewarding other “employees”. However there isn’t any real employees I don’t feel. It’s one person with a bunch of made up other avatars. Chris moneymaker your going down for fraud!!!!

I have finally reached my wits end with this BS so called poker site. I've played online and live poker for over 30 yrs and never have I played on a site that rewards trash play. Good poker play is useless on ACR. I'm convinced that instead of a trusted algorithm, it's just employees picking the cards to reward other employees winning. I'd much rather throw my money in the street than just throw it away on a trash site. I miss the real online poker sites. ACR is just taking advantage of most US players having to play here. Save your money people.

Yes, the fix is in. I mean if you are a new player ACR will let you win. And win you win, withdraw your money quickly.
