I took this course expecting clear, complete explanations, but too many important connections between terms were left out. For example, the book repeatedly mentioned “Burglary & Robbery” and “Money & Securities” as optional BOP coverages, but never explained that these are part of Crime Insurance. This is a key connection the licensing exam expects you to know, and the omission left me confused and wasting time trying to figure it out on my own.

I shouldn’t have to guess at what the authors assume I “should already know.” The course should fully explain umbrella terms and their subcategories, especially for first-time learners. Leaving out these connections makes it harder to study efficiently and risks failing the exam over something that could have been taught in one clear sentence.

If you’re brand new to insurance, expect to spend extra time cross-referencing other sources to fill in the gaps this course leaves out.
