Avoid like the plague

I order an accelerator for the Amiga 500. The one I received was dead on arrival. I tested it and proved it was their item. I get an RMA and send it back. It sits in Spain' customs for several weeks even after I alerted them that it was there, and Spain sent it back. So on an item I spend about $160 on, I spent $40 to send it back per their policy to try and recoup some of the loss, and if I want to continue down their policy, I will need to spend another $40, for a total of $80, half the cost of the item, to try and get my money back on a defective item. I have elected to go through a PayPal dispute, and I highly recommend that NOONE buy from them. They do not respond to eMails in their quoted "2 business day" turn around UNLESS they are to tell you off when you try to get your money back (Average response times were 3-4 business days, calls ignored and often no responses without second follow-up), and are good for nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM.

As we said by email, indeed the package was held at customs and my colleagues contacted them on several occasions. However, customs returned the package without notice and without us being able to do anything about it. This is why we have filed a complaint with customs to ask them for explanations and responsibilities.

Our products are tested before being shipped. When an item does not work properly we ask the customer to return it to us. Once received in our facilities it is checked by our technicians and we replace or reimburse the product plus the return shipping costs.

We have studied your case and we have refunded the amount of the accelerator. We also want to reimburse the cost of the return. Don't worry about the product, you don't have to send it back again.

On the other hand, we have checked the call history of the last weeks and we have not found any missed calls within our working hours. Please bear in mind that our business hours are Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:30.

communication and service are catastrophically bad!!!! I

I can clearly underline what many write here;

1} itmay be that an item takes longer because it was not available even though it was marked as such on the homepage. Others say that too, and I can confirm that. I don't know if the homepage just takes longer to sync up the stocks. But if you can wait 1-3 days more, that's not the problem either.

2} What ruins the otherwise good grade (and I'm sorry to read it often here) and doesn't work for me: communication and service is worse. It doesn't matter whether it's a question about the order you are making (there is an extra message field for the order for questions and notes, but it seems to be just "decoration") or questions that arise after an order and are sent to support by email. More than "Message sent successfully to AMIGAstore.eu Customer Service" does not come. I find answering an email within 3 working days is not too much to ask. Or an email "sorry, we need longer or need to clarify something" is also ok. What a pity I was otherwise always satisfied.

I've ordered a ram expansion for my…

I've ordered a ram expansion for my Amiga500 (gottagofastram) which has very short pins (had to use a socket to fit on my rev5 motherboard) and was making my Amiga crash every 2mn. It appeared it didn't like the microprocessor (68000) made by Signetic. I replaced it by a Motorola one and it seems ok.The worse is that they have removed my negative review from them website, so i don't trust them anymore.

What are Amigastore.eu doing!!!!!

Amiga store has delivered everything now, but because of the former problems they are only getting 2 stars.

There was no CD installation packet for amiga os 3.2(I need the seriel key too), and no physical kickstart rom 3.2.1. And off course I still need the A608 mini 8mb

I have purchased many items from…

I have purchased many items from Amigastore.eu and it _has_ been a good experience previously. In my most recent purchases, I am still waiting on two ordered accelerators and memory expansion (over 400AUD) for over two months.
The communication has almost been non existent. They have said their put a query into the shipping company, and then I have heard nothing after sending many messages on their website (on the items) as well as emails.
The lack of service and clear communication is extremely poor. I wont be buying anything from them again, and I will be recommending others to better more customer oriented companies.

Last emails we received from you are from August 12th. The same day we answered you telling you the following:

"We have just submitted a claim to Correos (claim number XXXX) to find out the status of the shipment"

"Sometimes packages are delivered a few days after the claim. Please keep an eye out for any notification your postal service may leave you and let us know when you finally receive it"

"If the package is not delivered within 10 days after the claim, please let us know and we will send you a new one"

We know that your two orders (July 2 and 9) have not been delivered yet (tracking is available in your account) and that you must be frustrated. But please understand that it is not our fault (but we do take responsibility) that the carrier has not delivered the packages to you yet.

David, you can be absolutely calm. We are completely customer oriented and we always take responsibility for each order placed in our store, and if there are problems with transportation, we take care of it.

Thus, as we told you, if you do not receive the merchandise within 10 days (next Monday 22), we will send you the products again, assuming all the costs.

Fast shipping, great customer service!

I ordered AmigaOS3.2 and a few accessories and as it wouldn't arrive before the weekend was over even with Express shipping, I asked whether they can send me my registration code upfront, so I could register and download everything so I could prepare my Amiga during the weekend.

Well, they did that :) And the shipment even arrived faster than expected (on Saturday instead of Monday) so I could update my Amiga to OS3.2.1 on Sunday :D

The delay or loss of the package by the Post Office is unacceptable, but you have made my day by confirming that you are sending me the order again by private parcel. In Italy the national postal service also works very poorly, in fact, the order left Spain, but it never arrived. If it finally arrives, I will return it to you with the process that you have provided me by email.

Wonderful products - terrible service.

I love products but they are slow and they don't communicate with their customers about any problems.
One week after I ordered and paid I still haven't heard a single word from them and my order has status "payment accepted". I have sent them emails which they don't respond to.
It was exactly the same the last time I ordered from them so I guess this is according to their standards and is to be expected when dealing with Amigastore.
I wish they would speed up and work on their communication skills.
I will think three or four times before ordering from them again.

Edit: Please don't lie! The product page clearly listed the product as in stock when I ordered. I would never have ordered if it didn't. It went out of stock a couple of days later and you didn't send it before it restocked again the 13th.

Happy New Year guys

Happy New Year, Amigastore...
I received my gifts in time for the Christmas gifts and I was very excited, I had been waiting for my accelerator, the 2 t-shirts and the last OS. They are gifts for myself, but the wait has been worth the time that I have waited.

I already have fewer things to complete my projects for my machines.

About the housings and keycaps.
Do you already know a real approximate date of stock of the cases?
Do you have more up-to-date information about the A1200.net keycaps?

Amazed with the new AmigaOS 3.2 and the service that the Amiga store has offered me.
I got confused with excitement and mistakenly asked for the OS for a different machine than the one I have. I spoke to them via Messenger because I was nervous about not responding to my 3 emails within 4 hours of sending them.
They made the modification easier for me and they explained to me that they were very overwhelmed by the high demand for the product. In-store mailings were up a lot on launch weekend.
Paco on social media got in touch with the girls from the sales team and he confirmed to me the change I wanted. I took the opportunity to add an accelerator for my A1000 and a new custom case that they sell 3D printed.
Although my order was already prepared, they added what I asked for and made it easier for me to pay the difference with a link to paypal.

Impressed with the versatility they showed at all times, even though it was all my mistakes and last minute additions (I wanted to save on shipping costs :P).

Very satisfied. I thought that being Spanish they would be slower than in the store I used to buy but they have surprised me. It is not Amazon, but they are very reliable.

I really like my "Amiga" store

I really like my "Amiga" store. Whenever I need something I look here first.
What I like is that they always make you feel that there is someone human behind the phone, the mail or the messages.
Hopefully they go ahead even if Covid and Brexit hit them like everyone else.
I am from the UK and I am waiting for an A1200.net case that I ordered with a couple of accessories to continue building my personal project for my Amiga 1200.
It is taking time but I know that English customs will normalize, I hope, soon.

Recommended to me by my group of retrogeeks

I have ordered several things lately for my C64 and my A4000 and they gave me good service.
They respond well to questions on social media. They have to ask the technicians but I like that they attend so quickly.
I made an order with national postal service and another with private. Better private because you can trust delivery on time.

They were recommended to me by my group of retrogeeks and they do their job very acceptably in this bad time of the pandemic.

Keep going.

I had a very bad experience with them

I had a very bad experience with them. I ordered an ext floppy cable, but haven't received it after 1,5 months waiting. I live in Sweden, so it is not even a long distance. I think what has happened is that the package was lost in shipping. It is a tracked package and they even asked me to pay more for it, but that is not helping at all. Tracking says there is no events after the package left Spain, which was 1,5 months ago! Still, the AMIGAstore support is replying that I should just wait and last week I didn't get a reply at all.
