A year ago I ordered the Navy Blue Leather tasseled Backpack for an international trip leaving 1/1/2023. The price was 159 pounds. I attempted to order it 12/23/2022. I was told by email the computers were down in the UK and order did not execute until12/24/2022. To assure its arrival in time for my trip with consideration to the computer issue, I paid 60 pounds for expedited shipping. The scheduled delivery by UPS to me was 12/30/2022. Although UPS stated they attempted a delivery on 12/30/2022, the backpack did not arrive to my home until 1/3/2023. I was long gone. Reported to Amilu and we both worked on this claim and bogus delivery attempt by UPS for about 9 months. It was never resolved and I was out the 60 pounds. Upon inspection of the backpack the snap (popper) on the one side was faulty...I reported to Amilu and they said they always check these things. They gave me a credit of 30 pounds for the snap that did not snap. I then asked why there was no identification anywhere on the backpack that this item was Made In Italy as was advertised. They told me, there is always a label sewn inside ...there was no label. They too told me on the paper tag Made In Italy was printed. This too was not the case. I've continued to send emails to get the shipping resolved but they no longer are responding. I'm highly suspect as to the country of origin whereby only verbally have I heard it was Made In Italy.

I purchased a Small Dogtooth Check Yorkshire Tweed Tote. Lovely little bag but it had a tag attached saying it was a Harris Tweed, which is not true because it didn’t have a sewn on badge. I have emailed Amilu twice now asking for a tag that belongs to the bag. Slightly disappointed that I am being ignored. 😏. It’s always a test for any company, large or small that any issues should be dealt with ASAP.

I hadn't come across Amilu before but it popped up on my phone. I took a look at the knitwear and found a garment that looked to be just right for me. I ordered an asymmetric style, Italian soft knit jumper. It arrived four days later, as they said it would. It was exactly as they stated on their website. The packaging was so refined with a personal note from the lady who obviously packed the garment with a great deal of care. Thank you Libbe. The jumper is fab. Thank you Amilu. I shall return. Xx

I’m not one who usually write reviews but I truly think that Amilu, as the small business it is, deserves one! I placed my order on August 2nd and it arrived on August 16th to me in Sweden, which I think was a really reasonable wait. The shipping went extremely smoothly with no customs or hiccups so I have nothing to complain about at all regarding the delivery! I even received a personal, handwritten note with my bag which was a beautiful extra touch.

I ordered the Freddy bag which I had been having my eye one for I while and it was every bit as gorgeous as showed online. The only thing I can remark on is the cream leather, which was a bit more yellow than the photos on the website, but other than that everything looked spot on (the tan details were also a bit lighter than on the picture as well, but that was written in the bag’s description on the website and I could barely notice it, so no complains at all about that!). You can truly feel the quality and craftsmanship of the bag. The leather feels superb and the interior has been very well thought out (as there are no picture of the inside online I feel as it’s important to mentioned that).

Overall, I had a great experience with Amilu and will most assuredly come back for a second bag in the future. Nothing makes me happier than small business that care as much about their craft as Amilu does!

Great quality; classic designs; good prices; and I love the fact the business has been created by women for women. I bought the emerald Bexley - exactly as described. Made of fabulous leather and very stylish. It will be on my arm tomorrow!!!

A small business that is a hidden gem! Beautiful products, that are exquisitely crafted. The bags came carefully wrapped and packed for protection from the delivery service, with a beautiful handwritten note on the box lid. The look, the smell, the touch that screams luxury.

I didn’t know about this company until I happened to stumbled across it when searching for a ‘woven leather handbag’. Now that I know about them I will purchase all my leather goods through them. The customer service is outstanding- there was a small issue with my order and it was rectified immediately. The packaging is lovely and the handwritten personal note was a really lovely touch. This UK small business is all women, designing products for women, and they have nailed it. The hand bag is just the right size for an cross body bag. All the pockets are perfectly placed and sized. The strap is sturdy without being chunky, and the way it adjusts makes it a seamless transition from cross body to shoulder. And then there’s the leather- amazing quality, beautifully soft. And made in Italy. So lovely to get something not made in China. I cannot express just how impressed I am. Thank you Libba and team for the thought and care you put into your work.

Ordered the Ledbury croc satchel bag for my niece's birthday. I havent given it to her yet but I was tempted to keep it! Its beautifully made and I love the shape of it. The order and delivery process were seamless. Very happy!

My handbag is beautiful. Exact match to my shoes. Such a shame that a storage bag was not included. But would still highly recommend this company.

The leather this bag is lovely and soft. The bag is roomy and the inside is well organised.
There are a couple of things that I would like to see in the future is the bag in a range of basic colours, especially black and navy. Also, I wear the bag only a crossbody and the strap could be wider.
I would definitely purchase another one in another colour.

I recently purchased the Freddy bag in white with tan trim. Can I just say that when I saw the bag for the first time it took my breath away. The attention to detail in the bag closure was unexpected. That you Amilu ladies for the love you put into the making of my bag. I will treasure it & it will be passed on for generations.

I just received the bag and I absolutely love it. It is well made of excellent quality leather and the navy is beautiful. It was a long wait for the bag but I have to say it was worth the wait. I did place a few orders from companies in London and this for some reason was held for a very long time. Still, I love my new bag and will definitely be purchasing other bags from this company.

Extraordinary customer service. I entered my name to be placed on a back ordered bag, and received a personal email the next day regarding wait times and availability. Another email indicated that a discounted version of the bag had been made available on the site. I was able to buy it right away! All these emails were exchanged after regular business hours as well! Amilu customer service goes above and beyond to be helpful.
