Met a lovely guy called cosmin in the Metrocentre who styled my hair. The hairdryer and straightens are brilliant. Better than my GHDs bought the pair on the spot. Would highly recommend the straighteners and hairdryer. Cosmin was really friendly, informative. He knows what he’s talking about. Would be getting more products.

I purchased a pair of straighteners when I was at Bluewater at the weekend following a demonstration. The straighteners I purchased (soho edition) are brilliant and give great results, however on getting home I realised they aren’t the ones used for the demonstration (Marlebone). Don’t get me wrong the straighteners I purchased give great results and I am pleased with them however the sales tactics employed were deceptive because ultimately, I didn’t get what I thought I way paying for. I would advise anyone purchasing to take their time to ensure they are buying what is being demonstrated. Ivan the stylist/salesperson was very charismatic, but he will bombard you quickly with lots of compliments and information, it’s all very fast playing on impulse and not allowing time to make sure you’re getting what you think. So, all in a mixed bag- I got great product but shady sales tactics when you boil it down.

As per many other reviews, we got roped into buying a pair of hair straighteners at Olympia, demonstrated on mine and my daughters hair with the steam , gave us a box, paid £140 only to find out when we got home they are the same as any other straightener and are actually terrible and pull my hair! They are not sold as advertised, I got sold a totally different pair of straighteners! Disgusting! Have been trying to contact AMORY with no luck at all at present. I will be taking this further and contacting trading standards and reporting your company. Avoid this company at all costs!

I was at bluewater and was essentially dragged to the pop up shop where my hair was styled. I tried to say no many times but eventually caved and bought some straighteners as I was very impressed with the ease of styling in the store. However I’ve got the straighteners home and they are completely different to the demo ones in the shop, I wasn’t even given the option of which model I wanted, I just picked the colour. The heat plates are completely different and the straighteners are a lot harder to use. I tried to curl my hair and I had to really clamp the straighteners down using both hands to ensure that the ends of my hair did not just slip out of the straighteners and it did not work as well as it did in store, even when using the same technique. When I look at the straighteners the plates do not meet properly and do not run parallel to each other, they’re more diagonal. I have seen so many people have issues refunding these or getting help so I’m apprehensive to even return to the store to ask about this.

The smells the shine. She stopped me from using my ceramic ghds and had moved me to these amory ones. What a sweet girl. A real credit to your brand and an asset to the team. She is fantastic at styling hair. Anyone who is wondering if they should impulse buy DO IT! you won’t regret it ❤️🥰

Lovely experience with Wilson, tried at the shop and works wonders, doesn’t cause any damage to your hair.
