Extremely disappointing

Ordered the sample box , I had smelt a friends amouage perfume and really wanted to experience more of their scents. It isn’t cheap but I considered it worth it.
After 4 days after paying I hadn’t received any notifications of shipping. I emailed them twice . After about 3 days more they finally emailed to say my order had been cancelled and to “check with my bank” as some details didn’t match.
I really doubt this has anything to do with my bank. I have since purchased another fragrance and they shipped after 2 working days. I’m not asking for Amazon speed but just a normal time frame, especially for a company that markets its self as luxury and high end.
Unfortunately I will not do any more business with such a company. I have lost all trust and respect.

I purchased **Amouage Reflection Man (100ml)** at Dubai Duty Free in August 2025 (Batch J20664-00185). The bottle remained sealed in its original box and stored properly in my bedroom in Italy. I only opened and started using it in January 2026.

After just a few uses, it became clear that the fragrance performance was extremely poor, fading within a very short time. The bottle is still about 90% full. This is not a matter of personal preference or “nose fatigue” — the product simply does not perform as expected for a fragrance in this category and price range (around €300).

I contacted Dubai Duty Free and later Amouage directly. Over several weeks:

* The actual bottle was **never physically inspected**
* Responses relied only on generic statements about batch consistency
* The issue was repeatedly treated as subjective
* No goodwill solution was offered
* Both the retailer and the brand ultimately **closed the case and refused further communication**

What is most disappointing is not only the product performance, but the **lack of customer care**. For a luxury brand positioned at this level, I expected a customer-centric approach and at least a willingness to review the specific unit or offer a goodwill resolution.

Instead, the response was strictly policy-driven, leaving a dissatisfied customer with no practical solution.

I am sharing this experience so others understand that, in my case, the after-sales support did not reflect the premium image of the House of Amouage.

Non-Existent Customer Service

I ordered the women's sampler set, and a few days later got notification the order was confirmed and had been shipped. The same day I received the shipping notification, I also received an email saying my order had been cancelled at my request. I did not request a cancellation. I tried to get in touch with customer service via email and their webchat to find out what happened, and neither message was replied to. My money was refunded, and looking at the other comments here about the non-existent customer service, it seems I dodged a bullet. There are plenty of outstanding perfumeries that have excellent customer relations. I will shop with them.

Literally every single perfume of theirs is just gold. Don't know about customer service and all that, but solely in terms of perfume, I don't think there's any other house that nails every single one of their perfumes but Amouage, at least for me.

House of Amouage wake up!!

I don’t know where to start with my feelings on House of amouage. Customer service is either ignoring my emails or nonexistent at all. I have reached out through email and chat and no response at all. I love Amouage perfume but had no idea customer service was this bad. If it is not, someone please advise me what I need to do to get them to respond. I even called the number and still no response. Please amouage you have got to do better. I need to cancel my order before it was sent out because of the wrong payment method and you never responded. It was a quick fix to change payment method but no response. I will not order from your website again because I can not risk what situation might happen and no resolution of the problem.

Appalling customer service

I ordered the Most Loved Set. It is supposed to contain 4 different perfumes. Mine had two of the same so the 4th was missing - the whole point is to have the 4.
I have emailed and emailed and I have had no response.
Even though I do like the perfume, I will not be buying it again.
Shocking service for a supposedly high end company.

Customs ask to provide the information…

Customs ask to provide the information like alcohol percentage in the parfume and another information. I was not aware that I need to do so because I thought they are located in EU, asked customer service to help me with the request, they just answered we provided all and that's it! Now I need some how before the Cristmas provide the information, never gonna buy from them ever again

Appalling Customer Service

I have bought from this company a number of times previously however I have recently placed an order for a birthday gift and several Christmas presents and requested all to be gift wrapped with a gift card.
The items arrived and I placed them aside for Christmas apart from the birthday gift. When this was opened all of the vials of perfume were shattered and I consequently opened the other packages and they were in the same condition.
The Amouage website states that they will replace or refund Faulty goods but they don't. After numerous email contacts they keep stating the Returns policy , which is a return within 14 days , unopened and not damaged. Therefore my items do not fulfil those requirements. I have provided photographic evidence and they have responded by saying this would have been noticeable on delivery- impossible in a gift wrapped sealed box.
They will not accept that the courier is at fault for this matter and not the customer.
So do not trust what is written on their customer service website as I am without gifts and a substantial amount of money. They are a shoddy company who do not respect the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Abhorrent service from a company whose philosophy states a commitment to the highest quality standards....

One star is too many if I could give minus one I would. Products are great but it’s the worst customer service experience ever. I order Amouage Outlands for €430. Returned it as advised by Amouage at a cost to me of over €18 to me and to their French depot as the warehouse in Oman was closed. Twice the French courier advised there was no one there to take the package. Amouage are a disaster at responding and won’t refund me the money even though ot was all tracked and traceable, so now I’m down €430 and the perfume. I have escalated it to Revolut to get a refund.
Avoided avoid avoid get your perfumes elsewhere.

One star is one too many

One star is one too many. The brand is nice, but shopping with them is a disaster. I confirm the lack of customer service, chat, or email support. Forget about something like that. It's unbelievable that such an expensive niche brand has such a terrible track record when it comes to customer relations. Shame on you, Amoage, simply a complete shame. You have no respect for your customers.

My honest 9year olds review

It was very nice however the lady who showing us around wasn't very kind and was extra kind to the Arabs. when we asked her something she didn't answer very nicely, but i did like the variety of perfumes and factory was really clean and the people doing the work were very nice and welcoming.

High end purchase with terrible customer service

I recently purchased the Cristal and Gold Woman and the attars set directly from Amouage. Fortunately, I did receive the Cristal and Gold but not the attars.
For 4 weeks I have been contacting custom service with no response. This is very unfortunate as the perfumes are exquisite and there are many special items that do not retail in the US so you are forced to purchase directly from Amouage. I just cannot believe how awful and nonexistent their customer service is!

No answer to emails

The title sums it up. They never answered my emails to ask for information in advance of buying a product. Their website said that there was a special document to be filled if I wanted the items shipped to Italy, and I inquired about it, without success.

No customer service, only $300 bottles!

As other reviews have said, they dont even have customer service. They ghosted me about a discovery kit mistake, they cant even get a discovery kit straight so whats to say theyll send you the right bottle size? For a luxury brand that charges what they do, this is honestly disgusting. Buy elsewhere if you must

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service - first they delay 7 working days to dispatch the product. Then if you want to return it they don't answer to phone calls, email or online chat. They basically ghost you, effectively refusing you a refund.

I jave sent them 7+ emails for two weeks now and I'm just talking to myself. ZERO REPLY.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR - NO MUCH DIFFERENCE FROM A SCAM

I ordered a gift for my brother for Christmas, I ordered it on the 5th of December to be sure it would arrive on time.
I received an email saying that one of my items was OOS after my parcel was shipped according to tracking
Tracking is existent but blocked in Oman with no update since the 8th of December

I’m so so angry with it! It was a Christmas gift and now my brother will have no gift when we all open ours. So disappointed

I contacted the customer care so many times, always left in seen from the chat and no answer to any email either.
Horrible service! First and last time that I order from them

Edit: they got back to me and added a different set for no extra cost. It arrived pretty quickly but arrived with no gift wrap or message so I’m still very disappointed with the experience and the treatment
