Just completed my Powerboat Level 2…

Just completed my Powerboat Level 2 course at AMR Marine Training, not only was Asher very knowledgeable but also good fun. Would highly recommend them, classroom work and practical work was very well explained and has given me confidence to drive a powerboat.
Being on the river Thames between Greenwich and Houses of Parliament makes the experience amazing.
I will be recommending these guys to friends and family

Highly recommend

If you are looking to obtain your powerboat licence, live nearby (or are happy to travel into London), I couldn't recommend AMR more highly.
Knowledgable and passionate instructors, quality equipment, and practical experience on the Thames - What more could you ask for.

Excellent Course

Had a really good experience doing my Powerboat Level 2 Course with AMR Marine. Artur was an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and personable.

BEST experience!

Asher and Arter are both extremely qualified and amazing teachers.

Asher was amazing with the booking process and any additional support or info I required. He answered emails and the phone at all hours making this a very seamless process.

Arter was our instructor on the day, he is extremely knowledgeable and patient which meant we had the confidence to perform the skills required for the course - he also does a great bane impression ;)

had a GREAT time and will be going back to do my advanced

Great training provider

Great training provider, excellent boats, and interesting scenic location between tower bridge and Canary wharf. Asher was excellent, and would recommend.

Learn a lot while having fun

I did a 2 day Powerboat Level 2 course with AMR Marine in April. This was my first time driving a powerboat.

Most of the course is spent on the boat doing hands on practical training and due to the class sizes being small each person gets lots of time driving the boat. A small amount of theory is done in the classroom but also some is done on the boat, a good technique to maximise time on the boat.

AMR Marine is based near Shadwell so it's easy to get to and you get a site seeing tour of London from the Thames for free!

Asher, our instructor, has been sailing and driving boats on and around the Thames since he was growing up and therefore is very experienced and knows the local area and all the people on the river. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a good trainer.

I learnt a lot doing this course but also had a lot of fun. Would highly recommended doing any training course with AMR Marine
