I was in need of a haircut during a business trip to Viborg, Amsterdam salon were able to give me an appointment very fast. The place has a really welcoming atmosphere, and I was very happy with my haircut. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
I have been coming to Ali Amsterdam for over 10 years and I have received an excellent hair cut every time. Excellet haircut and an excellent customer service. I won't get a haircut anywhere else now except here.
Today (12/09/2025) I received a call from amsterdamsalon, I presume by the owner, and he was very friendly and apologetic. He explained that they usually check the haircuts of trainees, but it was missed for some reason that day. He ended up both refunding the haircut and offering a new one for free next time. So all in all, great customer service and friendly staff. I changed my review to be 5 stars, since I feel that they solved the situation well.
Original review: You get what you pay for. Had an appointment a few days back and had a friendly teenager cut my hair. While he was friendly and so on, he was simply not trained well enough I feel.
When I came home, I felt like going back, but I don't trust that it would be much better, so I ended up adjusting myself.
The haircut was 150 dkr, which is super cheap, so therefore: You get what you pay for (just know that other places you can get more experience for the same price). (original rating 2 stars)
