Great price and prompt delivery. My OH used it to compact the hardcore and it made such a satisfying thud the neighbours probably think he’s gone pro. He hasn’t — but Amtech tools never disappoint, and this one definitely makes him look like he knows what he’s doing!

Terrible quality and dangerous to use especially the bladed tools

Only company I have come across that supply locks that been tampered with, you unlock once never to re lock ir change combination bless them....

The faulty lock was covered by the warranty and I went to Amtech official website and filled in a warranty form and was extremely surprised to receive a replacement item in a few days!

I decided to order a 'Contractors Ram' from Amtech because of their good price but also because I had repeatedly borrowed my neighbours similar tool with the same Amtech brand label.
I ordered it and paid for it on Sunday 23/11/25 and the online receipt stated next day delivery. It didn't arrive next day or for a few days after that. I sent an email to Amtech asking for a supervisor to contact me. It was then that started this wonderful contact with 'Asya'. She was very polite, courteous and listened to my tale of woe about the non appearance of my ordered tool. Without me even asking her for a replacement, she contacted me back to say that she was extremely sorry that I had been let down, apologised again and she told me that she had ordered me a replacement from their warehouse and that it would sent to me by one of their different couriers with a guaranteed next day arrival. Unbelievably, the first tool then arrived later that same day so I sent a message to Asya telling her of this. She said that their customer satisfaction was more important and reputation.
I must say that Amtech were in no way responsible for my order going missing. This was the fault of one of their couriers because I found out that it had sat in their warehouse and had been overlooked day after day until it was eventually delivered to me by an overwhelmed driver.
Amtech went out of their way to source a replacement tool for me quickly, then to send it via a different courier with a guaranteed next day delivery. It did arrive next day, and I contacted Asya to tell her the replacement had arrived and how grateful I was.
I will certainly recommend Amtech to anyone, and furthermore, if I need any other tool I will certainly check their website first. Very grateful with Amtech for how I was dealt with and Asya was first class. 23Nov2025 to 02Dec2025.

I had a garden lopper that the head cracked on it after a lot of heavy use.
I contacted Amtech and spoke with Barett and it was very quickly and easily replaced.
Very good service, I would recommend.

Required a battery for Desk Lamp but no longer stocked, but the found one identical lamp of old stock and the sent it free of charge, what a wonderful jester.

I never could imagine in a 100 years the level of customer service extended by this company. I couldn't find the charging wire for my old Amtech combi drill and after trying in many places to get it, emailed amtech customer service and was offered the last piece with them as a goodwill gesture since the item has been discontinued and there is slim chance of me finding it elsewhere. I lost the charger for my cordless drill and asked if there was any chance I could get one. The model is an old one. I was so delighted to receive a reply from Asya, who had looked in the warehouse and found one. My delight was compounded by the fact that she was posting it to me immediately, and I’ve had word that it is arriving today. What extraordinary customer service in these times when most people would just say that the model was no longer manufactured. What a treasure and asset she is to the company. I received a set of three spanners only to find that one was duplicated, hence one was missing. Emailed Customer Services on a Monday afternoon. They replied same day with apologies saying they would sort it and asked for my address, gave them my address Tuesday am and a new set of three correct spanners arrived by courier Wednesday lunch time. OK, so you could say the error shouldn't happen in the first place, but we all make mistakes and these guys could not have rectified things any faster. Very pleased with their quick reaction.

What great customer service, I filled in the online warranty form explaining my problem with a product on 1 August, received a reply on 2 August, and was sent a new replacement which I received on 5 August. Very happy with the service I received.

I bought a multi axe on Amazon. The neck snapped. I was going to buy another - it was £6 - just to avoid the hassle of making a claim but given that I have had other suppliers shirk their responsibility recently, I decided to follow the process and see what happened.
What a brilliant response from Amtechdiy. I was directed to their website where I used their chat and I got an actual person (yes, a human), not some BOT created by AI. He pointed me in the right direction, telling me what to do. I completed the form, uploaded a payment receipt, and clicked submit - simple as that. I got an email right away asking for a photo of the broken product which I sent off. Soon after, I received a second email confirming that I was within the warranty and a new axe would be posted in the next few days.
To my surprise, the door bell rang this morning and a new axe was delivered - that's less than 24 hours between opening a claim and getting the replacement. You cannot ask for better than that.
I will not use the complaint handlers name as this is a public forum, but he was great, handling the claim from the beginning to the end (including the chat).
In the world we live in today, you do not get service like this very often. So well done to Amtechdiy and its staff.

Superb replacement service for an item received faulty. Sent an email and received a very rapid reply from Steve advising to fill in online warranty form. A very quick email then received saying claim approved and replacement would be dispatched
in 1 to 2 days.
Item received 09.30 the following day.

This firm went over and above with their help and advice in guiding me in a purchase, and then provided a video to assist me in setting up a barrel lock. Praise personally to Steve who ensured delivery was fast, and then called me to ensure the goods arrived and that I could understand instructions.
I can't think of any other such business who can beat their service and "can do " attitude. Rating "11 out of 10"
