It is a great ebike I must say but I’ve noticed that it’s not built as tough I think it is. It doesn’t go as fast as it is advertised at 32 mph . The battery life is decent though. Overall great bike... See more

My front end of the bike collapsed…

My front end of the bike collapsed while I was riding !!! I almost died being thrown off the bike into traffic. Luckily my reaction time saved my life. The bike failed and this company is not good with the safety of the customer. Why did my bike frame collapse ??? It’s crazy this is Suppose to be safe ??? Riding 33 miles per hour the the front end gives out ?? It’s a death trap I’m demanding a refund and I may be taking them to court. No reason for metal to bend unless the are using cheaper product for the front end which is seriously cheap and worry’s me for other riders.

Factory warranty is a bunch of crap

Factory warranty is a bunch of crap. I've been waiting on them to reimburse me for a battery I bought and still haven't received anything. They're too hard to get in contact with.

VERY DISAPOINTED

VERY DISAPOINTED. Bought two bikes. Only one has been working for the last two years. It has been in the shop and back 5 times! I still can't get assistance from Amyet.

The bike WAS great

The bike was great, for the first few weeks. I don't know if I was given a defective product or what but after a few weeks of use, the screws holding the rear wheel to it's hub shot out, I've tried replacing the screws, using red loctite, but the damage is already done, the bolts keep shooting out. And then the issue I had buying the bike, I bought the bike and was told it'd start shipping within a week of purchase, I had to email Amyet after over a week of nothing, they only responded to one of my emails every few days, come to find out, the bike that I had bought was out of stock, and I had to settle for the same bike in another color, and then it takes about a month for them to give me the $20 refund I was promised. It wouldn't be so bad if the customer service wasn't N/A, I can't get ahold of anybody to save my life. I wouldn't recommend to anyone, if something happens and you need to talk to Amyet, you're gonna be punching air trying, good luck

The bike itself was nice when i was…

The bike itself was nice when i was able to borrow a friends battery, otherwise it doesn’t work since there something wrong with a brake cable that causes the power to keep dropping off. Also the battery does not hold charge so i can only use it when borrowing another if possible. They dont respond quick to emails about it either since i just need replacement parts for just those two things and i would rate it super high, like i already customized the bike frame with stickers and stuff to my liking but cant enjoy it

Second G60 I’ve bought and love them

This is the second bike that I have bought from this company and I love it! The G60 is so fun. You can write it like a bike, but I just write it like a motorcycle zipping around town at 35mph just a fun bike to cruise around town or a commuting around the city. I did have to use customer service and they were very punctual, friendly and helpful, issue was resolved extremely fast.

I rarely leave reviews

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been so frustrating I feel obligated to warn others.

I purchased an Amyet e-bike for my daughter, and it has been nothing but problems from the start. The bike stopped working, and despite troubleshooting everything on my end (battery, controller, wiring, etc.), it’s essentially a dead product. Completely unacceptable for something that’s supposed to be reliable transportation.

What’s even worse is the complete lack of customer support. I’ve reached out multiple times regarding a refund or replacement options, and I’m getting nothing back—no response, no accountability, just silence. For a company selling products at this price point, that’s unacceptable.

At this point, it feels like once they have your money, you’re on your own. I now have a non-working bike and no resolution in sight.

Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—look elsewhere. There are plenty of brands that actually stand behind their products and take care of their customers. This is not one of them.

So far i love this bike

So far i love this bike. It is really zippy and the pedal assist is amazing. The dual motor is great for going up a steep hill but mostly I keep in single motor mode to keep from draining the battery and that is plenty. But its nice to know its there and easy to switch to when needed. I bought mirrors because I hate not seeing cars coming up behind me. To many people texting and driving these days so highly recommend getting mirrors to watch your back. Overall great bike, especially for the price point.

⚠️ WARNING: Think twice before buying an AMYET ebike ⚠️

I bought the AMYET G60 as a Christmas gift for my son, and the motor turned out to be defective. AMYET acknowledged the problem and promised to send a replacement part — that was 2 MONTHS ago. My son has barely been able to ride his Christmas gift.

Every follow-up brings a new excuse. When I asked them to replace the bike under their own 1-year warranty (since they can't even supply the motor), they offered me a small partial refund and said it's "outside the exchange period."

The warranty says they will REPAIR OR REPLACE defective products. They have done neither. Don't let this happen to your family.

I'm now filing a credit card dispute and a complaint with the FTC. Sharing this so no other parent ends up in the same situation.

Avoid This Bike and Company

I bought the Amyet S8 about a year ago for $1,000 thinking I was getting a decent entry-level e-bike. Big mistake. From the start I’ve had constant problems—poor build quality, weird electrical glitches, and now this latest fiasco that’s the final straw.

My speedometer never worked properly out of the box. I reached out to Amyet support via email, and they eventually shipped what they said was the correct replacement rear hub motor (and charged me $50 for shipping). My local bike shop installed it, but the mechanic immediately pointed out that it was not the original motor for the S8. It’s “compatible,” sure, but it’s a different spec. He warned me this mismatch could cause issues with the controller, wiring, or even safety down the road.

I emailed Amyet back and the manager, “Rick,” responded. He openly admitted they sent the wrong motor. His solution? A $10 partial shipping refund. That’s it. Meanwhile they had charged me $100 to ship the incorrect part in the first place! No offer to send the right motor, no apology, no real resolution—just $10 and basically “sorry, not sorry.”

Customer service has been consistently awful every single time I’ve contacted them (all via email). This whole experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth. The Amyet S8 is simply not worth the $1,000 I paid. Save your money and look elsewhere—there are far better e-bikes and much better companies out there. Would NOT recommend. Stay away.

Bike is good quality/tires are not

Bike is good quality; however, the tires are not. We had a flat almost immediately with just minor, basic use.

Customer Service

This bike is for sure for a taller person,I’m having Error messages, but customer service is trying everything they can to find the problem… and sending replacement parts
The return policy is short (30-days)
So DON’T buy one in the winter months
