London Analog Motion ebike company Fraud
I am a London commuter and I have bought a refurbished Analog motion AMX bike less than a year ago. In the next month the battery health went so down I had to ask to swap for a new one. Now my battery doesn't charge anymore, so I asked them to have assistance via mail but no answer. I then discovered that they changed name into Nothng bikes and they don't have public information about opening times, tel numbers etc.
I then went to talk with them in person today, their CEO Navid Gornall spoke with me. After I explained the problem he firstly addressed me showing an eBay place where I could find thirdy part batteries. After I explained that that doesn't guarantee any compatibility with my bike and it's not safe he said "I don't care" and explained that the company is going to close in a matter of weeks.
He then went on explaining that they sent a mail months ago where they explained that their batteries were going out of production and there would be no more support form the company, which I never received. They explained that I was not involved in the email chain by mistake, which is a mere excuse to not say they didn't send it around to avoid customer backlash.
Then I asked to have a look at my battery and after almost kicking me out of the place he briefly checked the battery without proper tools and then admitted that both Analog Motion and Nothng have no idea where their batteries comes from and how to fix it. He admitted taht they have issues with thousands of people, which is the reason they're closing. They're getting away from the problem after leaving so many people in the lurch. More incredibly, they have no idea of where the batteries comes from which is dangerous for any commuters as there is no assurance about the safety of the latter.
This is ludicrous, thinking that I have spent 600 £ + a new battery and many more people have spent up to 1400£ on it.
I am willing to find anybody that has bought from them or had any battery issue with them and join forces and ask for a proper solution, as I'm not willing to get counterfeit batteries or mod this expensive bike at my own expenses to make it work.
Joke of a company
I went for an interview at analog motion at their head office at 30 Vyner Street, as they were hiring for a mechanic/rider position. The role seemed interesting and the salary range advertised on the job advert was good (30k - 36k range). I then took time out of my schedule to go to 2 further interviews. I met the team and spoke at length with Jack, Nav and ambar. They eventually hired me and sent me the employment contract. To my surprise, the salary they offered me was 25% lower than the bottom of the salary band!! They had offered me a starting salary of 22.5k! They then wanted to pressure me into 'quickly' accepting the offer. Upon questioning Nav about this he came up with some B.S about me not having enough experience. What a joke of a company this is! Imagine deceiving potential candidates about the potential for a high salary, for the sole purpose of encouraging candidates to come in for interviews - what a bad way to conduct business! I told Nav I had another job offer. Nav then came back and slightly increased the 22.5k offer - but I essentially told him to F off. Glad to see this company has gone under. Bunch of cowboys!
hit and run
to be fair the bike bought from moose when working is very good....belt drive etc, simple to assemble, lightweight.. problem is the battery failed after only 400km or about 15 charges, it now refuses to charge and is totally dead... replacements are hard to trackdown online and ones out there are £300 ish... would a supposed new one be fit for purpose? good money after bad.. who knows... company no longer exists.... so overall not great...

Battery failed twice now first got replacement bike from moose now told have to pay as out warranty after 6 months. Not fit for purpose total con as bike obviously faulty design. Screen also fades at same time
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. In fact zero customer service. Repeated enquiries….No replies. Wouldn’t trust them with anything.
AnalogMotion is not trustworthy.
On their website (analogmotion[.]com/pages/delivery) they state: “All EU orders purchased via our website are tax inclusive i.e you will pay no extra taxes.”
I’m from Germany, but I received import tax invoice from UPS. So I contacted Analog Motion Customer Service by email asking for a confirmation that it has been paid from their side. Auto reply email stated that they’ll reply in 10 business days. It’s been 3 months from my original email to them. I’ve also sent a follow up email after 2 weeks and then after 1 month. They just ignored all of them.
This is really disappointing.
Worst customer service
I bought a spare a month ago and still no updates or delivery dates. Customer service decided to ignore my emails. I was happy and was about to buy a second one for my partner, but due to this lack of response and having to deal with a ghost company where I am not sure I will have my spares soon we decided for an alternative. There are other great bikes out there. I don’t know who is managing the company but they better change their philosophy of how they treat their customers.
Sent numerous emails to the “customer…
Sent numerous emails to the “customer service” with zero response And no visible number to contact, so far the money I have paid for the spare parts is gone and there is no sign of the package in the mail or possibility to track a package….
Save yourself the hassle and buy a real electric bike, not one of these.
Just a few days after the warranty…
Just a few days after the warranty expired the controller/display stopped functioning completely rendering the Analogue motion ebike totally useless. I have just been informed that the bike in question is not supposed to be ridden in the rain, surely that can’t be correct. If that had been made clear to me when purchasing the bike, I would not have entertained it. Ridiculous.
Bike arrived today via third party…
Bike arrived today via third party seller, appears to be well crafted and high quality. Rides well. Didn't get into the crowd funder for this so can't comment on that experience but the product is great thanks guys

I was a AM1 buyer when they started their first bikes via kickstarter. They were very thankful being able to found their business at the start. They were communicative...
now not a possibility to contact!
If I use the old support adress, no reply... I just asked which kind of spare part to take because my front brakes sound horrible now...
I hope my AM1 will make for some more time, it is a great ebike tho, have 23000 km down. I would have said thank you. If I see all those reviews from none gb buyers, I must have been lucky I had no problems until now. So I look forward to buy a sushibike 😘
I wish I didn't help make those high above us people rich
A 'ghost company'
A 'ghost company'. No means of communicating. Registered office is where multiple offices are registered. No Twitter since mid 2021. No method of direct contact to solve a problem.

After waiting for ages and being charged an unreasonable amount for taxes, they remained silent on any query sent. We still consider taking legal action since the price of the bike got 26% higher than previously promoted. We claimed the overpayment and get no response. The lighting did work for 5 min and again, asking for support, our emails are being ignored. Very annoying and a company that you should not consider buying a bike. We ordered meanwhile at Lekker bikes and while the business can be compared, these guys take customer experience serious. Analogmotion does not care whatsoever.
Keep The Faith With Analog Motion
My experience with Analog Motion has been very positive, but let me preface this review by saying that I didn't get my AMX Road directly from them, I purchased it from an eBay seller who, like a lot of AM's customers, paid up as an early Indiegogo backer of the AMX and then waited quite a while before it was delivered to him, and while he waited he decided to purchase another ebike so that when the AMX arrived it was surplus to requirements, hence the sale of it to me.
So, rather than that being the end of the story, it turned out that I had a faulty battery, because I was having severe charging-related issues that very much compromised the range of the bike, so I ended up having to contact Analog Motion to see what they were prepared to do to help me. I genuinely thought that as I wasn't the original buyer that I would encounter some resistance, based on the reviews and experiences of other customers. Well, this has been far from the truth because as soon as I showed AM the purchase invoice that I'd received from the original buyer, Analog Motion gave me first class assistance, from offering me hints and tips on how to get the most from the bike, through to eventually supplying me with a brand new replacement battery. Right from the very start I was reassured by Support at AM that they would sort the problem and have me up and running, one way or another, and that is exactly how it turned out. They even shipped the replacement battery without demanding that I send the original one back first for forensic analysis...thinking they'd find a reason not to send a new one! No, none of that, just "here's your new battery, send the other one back when you can, at your convenience, and sorry for the trouble you've experienced."
As for the bike itself, I really really love it. I mean I REALLY love it. It's perfect for what I was looking for in an electric bike, in as much as it's relatively light compared to all other ebikes and it's just wonderfully understated and doesn't shout "I'm an ebike - steal me!"...even though I won't by tethering it outside a shop any time soon. Styling-wise it's just delicious. Mine is all black with tan-wall tyres and I've swapped out the drop bars that the AMX Road comes with as standard for some Humpert Cruisers, which are swept back for a more upright position. I also had to change out the brake levers, but that was a very easy job to do. Now the styling is more like my old fixie - which was just the look and riding position I was looking for. The aluminium frame doesn't absorb as much of the bumps and thuds as a steel framed bike would, but there's the trade-off if you want to keep the bike as light as possible and it's worth it in the end, in my opinion.
Brakes are mechanical disc, not hydraulic disc. Not amazing, but not terrible, either. Quite a few AMX owners have swapped out the mechanical brakes for hydraulic ones and I can see why, but I've not felt the absolute dire need to do this. I'm giving them a chance to bed in and we'll see where we are in the Spring. However, the AMX is a great base bike to load your own components onto, so changing up to hydraulics, putting on your own handlebars, brake levers, grips, seat etc is all part of the fun of ownership.
One other AMX Road-specific bit of information you need to know is that it doesn't come equipped with the ability to fit a throttle (which Analog Motion sell on their Web site). The cable that you would connect one to isn't present. My opinion on that is you won't miss it, plus they're not legal in the UK and would potentially bring unwanted attention from the fun police so you'll have to do without, but the regular AMX and AMX LE do have the required cable. I only bought the AMX Road as it was going for a bargain on eBay and didn't want to have to wait to get mine from AM themselves, as they have (no doubt COVID-related) supply issues right now.
The rear hub drive is driven using a cadence sensor, not a torque sensor, which can cause the bike to accelerate quite quickly at low speed. If I'm manoeuvring around pedestrians where space is tight I will turn pedal assist off completely, and use my own effort to get past them.
This leads me to the other great thing that I love about this bike, and it is the fact that you can still get a great workout while riding an ebike. If you turn pedal assist off on the AMX it rides just like any other non-electric bike with no resistance whatsoever from the hub motor. So when the fancy takes me I can put in all of the of the work myself and get back what I put it, in terms of getting up to a good, sustainable pace with the bike. This cannot always be said for a vast percentage of other more sophisticated ebikes where resistance is very much an issue, especially if the battery runs out a long way from home!
So, I'm really very happy with the bike and the support from AM and hope those waiting for bikes get theirs soon.
Brilliant British e-Bike Company
What can I say besides I LOVE Analog Motion. I love them so much I have just purchased my 2nd bike from them. The design, quality and build of their bikes is brilliant and the customer service is brilliant. The AM team I find go out of their way to meet and exceed their customers needs. I find it really hard to believe these negative reviews about customer service, I always communicate with AM via messenger and most often get an instant reply. I honestly can not recommend this company enough. When I purchased my first bike I was in contact with the company and they invited me to their head office to show me around and show me their products. It was brilliant! The company is very customer focused and is always there to help with your purchase.
Long delivery... great bike
So... a long story! Backed them on Indiegogo in may, waited for 6months for delivery, the service was good! Bike is great a little damage from delivery but they are sending me over replacements. I think people are being a bit harsh, they had to deal with a global pandemic which they weren’t expecting, which delayed deliveries, would recommend in future to people. Had lots of comments on how great the bike looks!
Great product, helpful customer support
So much hate for a company that was trying to fulfill bike in the middle of a pandemic... I got my AMX LE, it was late but I didn’t buy it, I supported the project as most people here should remember, Indiegogo is not a purchase platform. They did made some mistakes and the delays were quite annoying but at the end I got my bike and it is a great ride. The customer support was also very helpful in my case. Some people here should remember the actual world situation here. Hope the best for this company, been following them since AM1.
MISLEADING ADVERTISING + NO DELIVERY DATE YET
Bought the bike in June with a delivery date expected by July, as clearly stated on their Indiegogo Campaign.
We are now at the end of November, I did not receive any bike yet, and they are not able to provide a delivery date...that is unacceptable!!
I only keep receiving pointless weekly updates that do not clarify when I will receive the bike.
On top of that, they rejected my refund request and they are also removing all the negative reviews/comments from their social platforms.
This business is a joke
This business is a joke. I ordered through an indiegogo campaign on May 1st 2020 after sending a few emails back and forth with Analog Motion to ensure that the bike would be received in June 2020. This was actually the selling point for me because the bike I ACTUALLY wanted was sold out until July. So, I went with Analog Motion to get an AMX in June.
June goes by, July goes by, and then I decide to email them and see whatsup. They said they are backed up but said I would see my bike soon. Ok cool- it happens!
I wait... July goes by. August goes by. September... no bike. This is when I started really sending more emails to the point where the CEO “Jack of AMX” wrote an email with a link to the expected delivery dates and the link he sent me literally said “ORDER NOW FOR SUMMER 2020 DELIVERY”. Wow! This company thinks we are fools and are now mocking us.
It got so bad that I even wrote indiegogo and said I cannot support indiegogo anymore for doing business with such a joke of a company in analog motion. It really is disgraceful.
As I am writing this it is November 25th 2020 and my bike still has not been sent to me.
You know what else is great? They have disabled commenting and posting reviews on their Facebook page because people are complaining. Nice one, Jack!
Stay away from Analog Motion!!!
I’ve ordered my bike in June
I’ve ordered my bike in June. It was clearly advertised that they are shipping then and the delivery would be in Juli. All “update” mails are the same stupid nonsense and values no real informations. The shipping was 99€ and the extra tax was 250€ extra. This informations came after I couldn’t step back from backing them on indiegogo. Now they sell a new bike with delivery schedule of 2 weeks and free shipping, free from taxes and they give you mudguards and lights for free, but many bike from June are not delivered till now. And overall is the new bike almost the same price, like the ones on Indiegogo. So not much of a 51% saving Analog Motions is not customer friendly. They ignore mails about wanted cancellations from the buyers nor do the offer some compensation
