Super fast customer service, went above and beyond

I accidentally added the wrong delivery address at checkout. I contacted Ando customer service and they responded within 2 hours (on both email and instagram) and managed to change the address for me in time. My items arrived the next day and we loved them. Very impressed with a speedy response and fix.

Royal Mail confirmed delivery to your address and provided a photograph showing the parcel left at what they recorded as a designated safe place. We understand that you have since advised that this location was not secure and that the parcel was unfortunately taken from your doorstep.
We would also like to reassure you that we have never refused a refund, we have been corresponding with you while Royal Mail carried out their investigation, and throughout this process we offered both a replacement or a refund.

Ordered on the 3rd March... Still waiting 3 weeks later.

Ordered on the 3rd March, chased after 2 weeks (should have been a day or two delivery).

Then we chased and were told it would be here in the next few days.

Chased again on March 23rd and have been told it would be arriving on Thursday.

It's just poor service.

I ordered something nearly a month ago and still haven't received my parcel. I subsequently sent a message requesting for someone to confirm when this would be arriving with no reply.

Terrible service, no communication and it doesn't look like I'm going to be receiving anything. I order a lot of things and I've never experienced anything as bad as this.

Looks as though the majority of people have had a bad experience too - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

We hope you are well and we are so sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience, and we completely understand how frustrating it must be when an order is marked as delivered but you are unable to locate it.

You first contacted us on 15th February to advise that your order was showing as delivered but had not been received. We responded immediately to confirm that we would escalate this with Royal Mail to investigate further.

Following their investigation, it was confirmed that the parcel had been delivered to the “safe place”, which in this case was your recycling box. As the safe place delivery option had been chosen, the courier considered the parcel successfully delivered in line with the delivery instructions provided.

We did contact Yaya Studios to let them know what had happened with your order and they did offered to resend your print as a gesture of goodwill, which we relayed to you. We understand you declined this option.

As a further attempt to resolve the matter positively, we then offered a credit note as an alternative solution. We have not yet received a response regarding this offer, but we are of course happy to still offer this to you.

Please note we are a multi-brand store and work closely with both our courier partners and suppliers to resolve issues fairly and promptly. We are very sorry that this situation has caused disappointment, as this is never the experience we aim to provide.

Please do feel free to reply to our email should you wish to accept the credit note or discuss this further — we are more than happy to help.

We are so sorry you have experienced a delay with your item and completely understand your frustration.

Routinely orders placed before 2pm are dispatched same day, from our UK warehouse. We also offer next day delivery via DPD, as well as economy shipping with Evri and Royal Mail - which is typically 2-3 days.

In the case of your item, we can see it was something oversize that is one of a handful of items that ships from our partner UK warehouse. These are usually shipped within 3-5 days, which is clearly communicated on both the product page and at checkout. We can see this has been escalated by the customer service team to determine why there had been an usual delay of a couple of days longer. Microscooters can experience delays pre Christmas due to high demand and we are so sorry this has been the case. We can see the order is now shipped and delivered today.

Please note that we are a multi-brand store and do not have a manufacture to order process. In any case scooter manufacturer can take many weeks. We dispatch scooters usually next day, but up to 5 days during exceptionally busy Black Friday periods. We understand this is a long wait and so want to try and put this right - we have emailed with options.

With the exception of a tiny number of items, where necessary longer lead times are communicated at checkout, all other items leave same day from the UK. We’re sorry we’ve fallen short and will be in touch over email to rectify the delay to your order arriving.

A follow up to my earlier review:
Despite the issues with the courier (it’s not Ando’s fault), I will say that customer service was great. They always responded to my emails within the stated 2 business days. I was just frustrated that when I called DPD and they told me that seller never raised an issue and being told that I, the buyer couldn’t do anything and so not knowing what was going on as it had taken 2 business days for you respond to my concern, it was just frustrating. In the end you resent all the items (you didn’t need to as it was not the store’s fault but out of goodwill), I really appreciate it. I now have the items!
If I may though as a feedback, please update your international delivery timeline on the website - it says 2-4 business days but it actually took 8 business days (item was first scanned on 21 Nov and I received it on 2 Dec). After monitoring the journey of the parcel closely, I don’t know how it could take 4 or even 2 business days! It gave the wrong expectation to the customer about when items will be delivered.
I apologise for my earlier negative review. I look forward to shopping more from Ando in the future.

Responsive customer service

Ordered 2 x art prints for my daughter's bedroom. Products did not match the description. However, Ando were really responsive at resolving the issue and I am very impressed with their customer service. They also updated the description on their website promptly, and clarified their refund policy.

A week and still waiting

I ordered an adult gilet a week ago. Their website, customer service and email comms claim dispatch should happen within 1-2 working days. It has been a week since I ordered and has yet to be shipped. When I contacted customer service they said they can't see any issues and it should ship soon. I'm still waiting.

Not a scam!

I’ll admit I was worried this store was a scam when my order took much longer than expected to arrive, and after reading some of the trustpilot reviews. Thankfully it is absolutely not a scam. The customer service was actually really good. My order took longer than expected as I ordered art prints which are dispatched from the artist direct. Thank you for the great customer service and staying true to your word.

Awful

Awful - ordered an item but tracking / ordered status link doesn't work. Emailed the team for an update. No response & item still hasnt been dispatched although they claim items go out next day by 2pm.

We can see the order was made for a framed art print, these are created direct by the artist and so are not dispatched directly from us. We do make a note at checkout on this and in the product listings to say the items can be 2-5 working days for printing. All other items are sent by 2pm from our UK warehouse, with the exception of art prints and preorders. The artist should then send the tracking, so we are so sorry if this has not yet updated. We are so sad to hear of your frustration and have been straight in touch with the artist now to see if there has been any print delay.

AVOID! SCAM!

AVOID! SCAM! Paid extra £8.99 for Saturday Delivery on Thursday passed midnight. Still hear absolutely nothing on Monday. They provide a Tracking link but the link is broken. Of course has no response from their email.

I’m truly sorry to hear about the courier issue you’ve experienced with your recent order, and I completely understand how disappointing it must be to pay for delivery and not receive the service in the expected time frame.

I’ve looked into this and It looks like the order was dispatched to the courier as planned, within the working day, but that there was an issue with the Saturday delivery service with our courier DPD and subsequently the tracking link provided did not update. This is certainly not the experience we aim to offer and are so sorry. Please rest assured we deliver thousands of items each day and work with both Royal Mail, DPD and DHL so we can try to offer the best delivery services, although we understand this has really fallen short this time. We do also aim ro respond to all queries within 1-2 working days and I can see we did process a full refund on the Tuesday for the shipping, because we could see that the courier had not delivered your order on time.

I brought a painting with frame für 150€ and it came without frame. I contacted the shop but never got an answer, only on instagram. They said they would send me the frame, i just had to wait a litte bit. But the frame never came.. at least I got the money back, but still very expencise for just a picture. Regret buying there

We’re not sure if they had responded but sadly, we would not of seen this correspondence. However, I could see that my colleague at Ando replied to your message on our Ando Stores Instagram page and subsequently immediately looked into why our artist, Yaya Studios, did not send your print with the frame. It looks like this was human error at the studio and we are so sorry there was a mistake with the order details. This particular artist sends the print directly from her EU studio, and not our UK Warehouse, and so we certainly understand how disappointing it must have been to not receive the product as expected.
I’m glad to hear that you received a refund, but I sincerely apologise that the frame did not arrive. We’ve reached out again to the artist to ensure that this issue is fully resolved and will be looking into how we can avoid such errors moving forward.
