I needed a flexi beater for my mixer and they were really helpful.

I am sad to hear they have stopped trading. After previous shortlived trials with other companies I finally started with this company buying their halogen ovens. The first one lasted over 5 years (used every day as used as my main oven) and I never replaced the fuse even. The second I bought a couple of years ago so hope it lasts as long. I then bought an induction single hob and again unlike others it lasted years. After again daily use over a long period it finally died on me so I guess now I will have to find another company that has consistantly long lasting products. I am very disappointed as with both these products I went through many that just did not last until I found Andrew James and they were my preferred supplier. I guess from now on it will be trial and error with others and I anticipate a repeat of some lasting just months as I experienced before I found Andrew James.

PS I also noticed in reviews of best buys on many electricals and in particular halogen ovens Andrew James usually was top choice or close and even often had 2 products in the top choices..

Bought a mini oven which went bang after just a couple of months. Was promised a refund or replacement in September ‘19. They stopped replying to all emails and went bust a month later.

A couple of hundred quid out of pocket and b*gger all I can do about it.

Like so many other reviewers I have purchased many Andrews James machines over the years none of which have broken down and are still working today.

I am deeply saddened that this firm has gone into liquidation, the high quality of its goods should have kept it solvent.

I am continuing to purchase items such as vacuum caddies and bags from the remaining stock for as long as I can.

Have an Andrew James icemaker, came home from 3 months abroad and it no longer works. It was in Fine condition before we left and now it has power etc. but simply doesn't make ice.

Only 2.5 years old - for the price would expect considerably longer life

Wow l was going to be send for a couple of replacement flexi blades the have been so helpful sending them to me in Spain now I am stuck

Great value when they were open, but now they've gone, what else can you do with a faulty item worth £80... wasted money because I didn't buy a big name!

I was searching for their website with a view to buying something when I discovered they have gone into liquidation. This is a real shame as they are an excellent company. I bought one of their mini ovens and it is still working well after several years. In my experience their goods are very good quality and at a fair price.

I have just found out that Andrew James have gone into liquidation. What a shame! I have bought a lot of things from them over the years and have been really pleased with them. I was just looking on line for a food chopper and Andrew James was my first port of call. So sad to see that they are no longer trading. I will live in hope that someone buys them out and continues to provide the same quality products as before. So very sorry that they have gone.

Brilliant customer relations staff replaced two broken down machines without a quibble . A third has worked well - fingers crossed!

Along with family members have purchased many halogen ovens over the years. Didn’t know until I tried to purchase a new one that the company have sadly ceased trading.

I have purchased two other halogen ovens from different companies and all I can say is that with ‘Andrew James’ we have been most spoilt because the other brands just don’t match with the superb quality that we experienced with Andrew James. I live alone with mobility problems and my halogen was a godsend fo preparing my food. Sadly no more, the other brands not fit for purchase, the food burns and just not up to the job of ‘Andrew James’ models. Sadly missed!

I bought 2 water heaters from you over 2yrs. One was slightly faulty after 6 months but when I rang and told you your customer service were brilliant replacing it straight away. So sorry to hear you have gone into administration. Whatever you do in the future best of luck.

I was so sorry to learn that your company has gone into administration I have bought many products in the past including your halogen ovens and other products. They were always great quality, I only found out because I was trying to find your website to purchase the hot water dispenser that I wanted which was out of stock just before Christmas. I hope you find someway to bring the company back to life in the future!

Always had a wonderful experience with their kit. Sad to see they’ve gone into liquidation as I’m assuming that means replacement parts will be like gold dust

I am very very sorry to hear that Andrew James has gone into administration. I found them to be a great company with great customer service. I bought quite a few things from Andrew James and always found them excellent especially their halogen oven. The reviews I've read here bear no resemblance to the company that I have used.

Ice maker started leaking after a few months. Andrew James UK has gone BUST so I wouldn't touch

So sorry to find Andrew James has ceased trading ,I have bought numerous products from them and had no problems with either product or service . I have always found them to be helpful and prompt with replies to queries and any replacement required ( my son lost a beater to his food mixer , I received a new one for him within 2 days of contacting them ). I was looking to make another purchase and am gutted I will now be unable to get my item.

Their coffee grinder casing splits ,just below the lid attachment, because of the tight fit between lid and casing, which must apply for safety ,but this loosens the seal below said lid which otherwise would still be in use.,,
