The best form of cure is prevention. When heart disease, cancer, dementia or metabolic diseases take hold they shorten our lies and destroy our quality of life. We want to be at the front lines of preventing these diseases, minimising the risks of our client getting them and even reversing them for those who may already have some health complications. The High Performance Health Program was founded by me - Andrew Marsham. I started out as an engineer working for defence manufacturer BAE Systems in Glasgow. After several promotions and a look at my corporate world future, I did not like what the future held. I had started my own health journey in 2011. I weighed 120lbs and had a sagging belly. I was “skinny fat”. I made my own radical transformation and became obsessed with health, nutrition and longevity. So when I no longer seen a definitive path in the corporate world I started my own fitness coaching program in 2018 after becoming certified as a trainer and nutritionist while working at BAE Systems. I built the business up over 2.5 years while working full time and then took a leap of faith in 2020 to go all in on my passion - Health Coaching. Our team is comprised of 19 full time employees which includes 9 dedicated and highly qualified coaches with more than 190 years experience between us.

Working with the High Performance Health team has been one of the most positive experiences I have had with personal coaches/trainers. Their ability to understand my athletic goals as well as my individual challenges, strengths and motivations has been second to none. It’s not cookie cutter. It’s personal training and nutrition goals that meet me where I am.
I have worked with James for several months and I find him to be thoughtful, knowledgeable and motivating. It’s not just lift heavy, move faster, eat less…it’s prioritize sleep, clean eating and movement that’s sustainable. At 56, this body moves differently than it did at 20, 30 and 40. He is patient and encouraging with my anxious brain and helps me focus on what can be done to improve my overall health. The plan I’m working has been great for both my physical and mental health. Great to work with. Was able to lose weight, which is nice, and build strength, which was essential. Allowed me to sustainably transition the sedentary path I was on to one of strength and health for decades. The accountability aspect of the coach was essential for success. I was hesitant about the cost and time commitment, but it was worth every penny for the life improvements I got out of it and they make the timing work within your schedule. They are the start of your journey, not the end, but how you start matters.

I took a leap of faith and joined this awesome program early in 2026. I am relatively fit but needed coaching on taking my fitness to the next step. James is my coach- he is knowledgeable and attentive, adjusting the plan based on my goals and life circumstances. He has pushed me in areas where I was intimidated (squats, bench press, etc) and taught me the importance of consistency and patience. I am feeling way more confident at the gym and have put on some solid muscle! As with any program-- you will get out what you put in!

When I joined the program, I was diabetic. Since joining, my A1C has dropped to pre-diabetic levels. I'm no longer taking metformin. I'm working to lower my weight. I recommend program.

In 3 months I lost almost 20 pounds. I’m stronger, lighter and more flexible than I’ve been in many years. The High performance health program has been instrumental in the improvement of my health. I have lost almost 20 pounds, my resting heart rate has lowered to a healthier level, my VO2 max has increased. When I started the plan, I couldn't run a mile without rest. I can now run a 5k in less that 33 minutes. My strength has increased significanlty, back to levels from high school. I have worked with Kyle Patterson for the past 12 months, and he has been outstanding. I originally signed up for HPH to regain my strength, and Kyle has been a huge help in structuring my programs and providing ongoing coaching. I started this program with HPH very tentatively and was not completely convinced that I would be able to reach my goals with it, considering the amount of work and travel I have to do. But Steve N stayed with me from the start. I've been working with him since Dec 2025. For the first couple of months I didn't even see any weight loss. I could see changes in my body but no loss in weight. Steve stuck with me and kept encouraging me and tweaking my nutrition and work out routines. And then it just clicked in. In the last 3 months I've lost nearly 18 lbs! I have some more to go, but I now I am confident that with Steve guiding me throughout I will get there soon enough. The accountability and partnership from Steve has kept me on track, encouraging me, and guiding me and giving me tips whenever I need.

Pav became that person and did a great job of being positive, supportive, and encouraging when I was falling behind my goals. I almost cried when Pavol sent me my before and after photos side by side. I genuinely didn't recognize myself.
Over the course of working together, I went from 180 pounds to 130, a 38-inch waist to a 28-inch waist, and got down to around 10% body fat. VO2 max improved. Blood work improved across the board. Even my doctor was shocked and wanted to know what I was doing. I had to buy an entirely new wardrobe. Everyone noticed.
What Pavol does differently is he meets you where you are. No crash protocols, no event-driven eating plans, no promises about timelines that don't hold up in real life. He focused on changing how I think about food and training over 18 months, not a temporary fix. Everything he built was designed to fit into my actual life and stay there.
There were moments I was convinced something was wrong with me, that the process was taking too long, that my genetics were the problem. He talked me off that ledge every time, explained exactly what was happening and why, and kept me on track when I would have quit in the past.
