I just cancel my subscription with…

I just cancel my subscription with Angie, the problem.
I was supposed to receive leads, referrals for clients looking for a remodeler, I do bathroom remodeling. I was paying a monthly fee and they were supposed to send me 3 to 5 leads per month, the first 3 leads I received were good, I contacted the person, and they answer my calls, after that, I stared receiving leads that were old or false, how did I know? every time I received a lead the first thing I do is call the person, if I received no answer, I send a text and also an email. None of these persons returned my calls, my texts and emails, this means that if this person requested a service from a contractor through Angie's or look through the media looking for contractors, someone who works for Angie send the information to Angie and Angie send the request to the contractors. some people are just interested knowing how much a remodeling will cost and Angie send the lead to us, Angie never verified if the lead is real, the lead surer is false, since I stared receiving these leads, I called Angie to complaint against such leads, every month I called to complaint, not one person from Angie tried to resolve the problem, I was tired complaining so I decided to cancel my account, on top of that, after collecting $1500.00 they said I need to pay for the cancellation. Angie is not the same, since Angie merged with Home Advisor, everything changed. I'm sure that Angie, the person who stared Anies 'list does not know that what's going on with this actual Angie. Angie makes millions every month but the way they are making all this money is defrauding contractors like me. The labor department fined Angie and Home Advisor for more than 7 million for sending misleading leads and they haven't learned the lesson, they continue doing the same. I hope that this message open the eyes of contractors like me and avoid doing business with Angie, and if there are more contractors that are receiving false or old leads like the ones I receive, call Angie and tell them what's going on, demand answers and don't stop complaining.

Refuses to cancel accounts

Application provider refused to honor their agreement and would not remove my account information upon request.

They're contractors are not well screened and walmart.com is reselling their services. Avoid any of these services especially the subscription ones.
