I purchased a GPO 746 1979 two tone phone, the condition was like new, Pristine! A lovely nostalgic item.

Phone arrived today and was so well packaged. The phone itself looked like a reproduction it was gleaming so much. Absolutely pristine condition and nothing short of stunning. Everything works as it should and can make and receive calls on my Virgin line without the need for an adapter.

Both 1950's Bakelite phones I ordered were in mint condition. Also exceptionally well packed for delivery.

I purchased a 1967 746, it is beautiful and it could be brand new. It came quickly, it came so very well wrapped and protected, It works and I love it - what more could you ask for - it ticked all the boxes. I have no hesitation in recommending Antique GPO Telephones, don’t even think about less expensive copies, these are the real thing they come with a history and, for me at least, lovely memories. I have just purchased a Rare Ivory Bakelite 328 1956 GPO Telephone from Simon at Antique GPO Phones. The service he provided and the phone he supplied were amazing and without fault. Its plugged in and fully working (first time) and I've had my family and friends ring me all day just to listen to the bell.

I purchased a 328L and converter from Simon. Unfortunately the box it was delivered in was damaged by Parcel Force. Fortunately the phone had been so carefully wrapped that it was not cosmetically damaged. On connecting to my router there was some background noise. I called Simon and discussed the problem. Thinking that it had suffered internal damage in transit. However, Simon instantly diagnosed the problem as being caused by electronic interference. He then sent me a carbon receiver to swap out at no charge. Which arrived the next morning. Once changed the phone worked perfectly. I cannot thank Simon enough for providing a superb product, good advice & excellent after sales service. I highly recommend him and he certainly goes the extra mile for his customers.

The Black Bakelite 332L GPO telephone I purchased is just what I wanted and looks great on the desk. Also bought a Pulse to Tone converter. Easy connection to my Sky Fibre box and it works brilliantly. From order to delivery it was three days and that was over a weekend. The communication with Simon was first rate and I immediately got the feeling I was buying from someone I could trust. Added bonus - in the box it was delivered in was a bin bag to take all of the protective wrappings; nice touch.

I purchased a 1971 trimphone from Simon/antiquegpophones which arrived swiftly and safely (very well packaged) and really is a beautiful item, in even better condition than I expected. Seeing it now sitting on my desk, it feels like time travel ... I'm back as an eight year old admiring this exact model on my dad's own desk and thinking how futuristic it looked!! Ordered an antique 1965 red phone, it arrived 2 days later, I received a confirmation email almost immediately and details of shipping very soon after that. An Ivory 746 GPO phone from 1985 was ordered from Antique GPO Phones on a Monday and it arrived on the Wednesday. Just received my beautiful 150 Candlestick and Bell Set. I love it. Arrived by next day Parcelforce and as always very well packed.
It’s nearly 100 years old but plugged it straight in and called Simon on it to confirm safe arrival.
