This is a website for expats with a difference, providing resources for expats in various countries helping them settle into their new life, which is never task. It is great to have everything in one place. No subscription or membership fee.

I never considered myself an Expat even after 25 years in Italy, The word for me meant a person working in a foreign country under contract who left at the conclusion of said contract. I was an expat In Asia for many years but in Italy I considered myself just a foreigner resident in this country. However we have just recently moved from Piedmont to Sicily which has a completely lifestyle and way of doing business, and my wife suggested that we should check out some of these expat forums that she had found online. With some scepticism I logged a couple of them and found actually that they were quite useful In providing information to expats either living here already or planning to live here. I checked out several of these groups and in the end chose any anyexpat com as been the most vibrant and social group. I post travelogs and also information whenever it fits into my expertise after all these years of living in Italy. Also nice for gossip and chat chat Italian style. Having a ball!

I moved to Italy in 2020, after owning a vacation home here for a couple of years. I found the interactions on this group helpful, and informative. At the beginning, I asked for help with things, as I settled into my new home here, I was able to help new members. A great resource.

The site provides an incredible resource for anyone thinking of or already having moved abroad. Many other members offer insightful advice and there are many English speaking vetted professionals who can offer services.

This website is the go to platform for anyone thinking of moving or have moved abroad.
If you are looking information on property lettings or on local services, this is the go to place. Even if you are missing you'r favourite foods from home, they can direct you to websites for international deliveries. They pointed me into the direction of All Ireland Foods and The British Food Store and now I can have my favourite sausages, bacon and my Sunday roasts.

As far as I am concerned, I have always found maximum professionalism and fairness.

I signed up to be a social promoter for this company. Never heard from the guy after our initial contact until 2 weeks later, after I followed up. Cancelled the account upon realizing it was most likely a scam. The company proceeded to charge my accounts every month.

Has a situation with real estate fraud from a Sicilian realtor, the type one working for Canadian government wouldn’t expect to find themselves in and thanks to Kenny and anyexpat got it resolved. He helped when he didn’t have to at all and in a matter of hours taking it out of his personal time. Integrity, professionalism and initiative are the main qualities I can highlight. I will recommend him now to anyone who is looking for real estate in Italy and to verify agents and services through him BEFORE one will need help urgently. Appreciate it more than I can tell.

I signed up for the short term let listing portal, as unlike AirBnb and most of the other platforms, it is a subscription only model with no commission made on any bookings.

I literally got my first booking the next day, and the money saved from not paying a commission more than paid for a full year's subscription.

Anyexpat is a unique platform. It is unique not just because of its expat-specific services, from real estate to language courses.
