Ghosting on Refund

My husband spoke with Christian on 7/9 to discuss a possible business relationship. Christian took a $1,000.00 payment via Zelle and told him if he decided to not move forward it would be refunded. I too spoke with Christian on several occasions, with the final one being 7/13 where Christian advised me he would have the refund sent later that day. I have left him messages and sent texts that go unreturned. I found his business partners, Jorge, phone number and have spoken to him twice now where he has stated he needed to get ahold of Christian as "this was never discussed with him, but he is difficult to get ahold of so may take some time" and he would call me back. I attempted to reach him today after no return call and left a message. This is an unacceptable and poor business practice, borderline theft at this time. I do NOT recommend using this company
