To be honest in this day and age,I don't get why plastic number plates are so expensive. They literally take minutes to make! No craftsmanship needed. But saying that,they look good.

Hey Lee,
The 3D gel number plates you ordered have taken us a huge amount of hours to develop, and we make each character by hand using our own Pre-set plinth and adding a Polyurethane resin to raise the character into Gel form, these are then baked for exactly 57 minutes to ensure the right consistency before then adding the 3M backing and trimming for a flush finish.
Each character is then added to your plate by our trained production team who have to set the spacings correctly and ensure good adhesive bonding before packing and sending out. All in all from production to sending out your order it takes around 1h 16mins on average.
Hope this helps when it comes to knowing why things cost more than you presume they will.
