My go to since 2016! Apolla Dance Socks are the best!

Apolla Performance Wear has been my go to since 2016. At that time I was a busy studio owner, artistic director and choreographer teaching and dancing 7 days a week. My feet and body were suffering and plantar fasciitis was making dance life difficult. A lifetime wearing dance shoes without support had caught up to me and I was desperate. After getting a cortisol shot in each heel I knew there had to be a better way and I was searching everywhere for a solution.

That solution was Apolla Socks and they changed everything for me. I am beyond grateful for what they have done for my life and career. I switched my entire competition team to Apolla performance socks. I completely ignored judges’ giving harsh critiques of “wearing socks while performing”. They simply didn’t know about them yet and I was unwilling to compromise my students feet and bodies.

I have been promoting and singing the praises of Apolla Socks since then. If I could give this company a million stars I would. Thank you Apolla for helping me to continue my dance journey without pain- teaching 34 years now and dancing for over 40.

Recommended by a Dance Medicine Physical Therapist

We first started using Apolla products 2 years ago when my daughter began having foot pain in the middle of competition season. I am a physical therapist who works with dancers and wanted a product that she could wear for extra cushion and support in class as an adjunct to healing. Knowing Apolla was created by a dancer for dancers, it was my go to.

Her Apolla socks supported her through the season and she began asking for other colors and styles. Soon enough she had accumulated 6 pairs in her rotation.

Shortly after I had been coming back from a knee injury and wanted to start running again. I decided to grab a pair of the endurance to help support recovery as I started back. I have since picked up several other pairs for myself, and wear them regularly when I’m in the clinic or when I’m on my feet for long days at dance competitions.

I highly recommend Apolla to all of my patients and friends. The quality is outstanding and the variety of styles (especially for dancers) is great!

The best socks!

I love my Apolla performance socks! They have gotten me through many dance conventions, classes and competitions. They have supported my weak ankle that is prone to sprains.

Absolutely love my Apolla socks

Absolutely love my Apolla socks, I started with just the joule shock for extra ankle stability during dance class but after wearing them in class I loved them so much that I ordered one of each style of sock. They helped so much with my stability and swelling that I couldn’t resist ordering more.

Apolla for Tendinitis

Such a wonderful product! I've had the Performance Crew performance sock, Joule compression sleeve, and the K-Warmer. I previously had a severe ankle injury that left me with severe tendinitis and two bone spurs. I wore the Joule for a particularly intense class and had no tendinitis pain afterwards!

Not All Compression Socks Are Identical

When shopping for my trip to Portugal, I bought Apolla compression ankle socks from Macy's. I never considered myself a candidate for wearing compression socks because I don't have any medical issues. I now wear my Apolla compression socks every day and at any event, like when I recently walked the 11 acres of the 2026 Philly Flower Show.
I did some research and found that Apolla Performance products received the American Podiatric Medical Association's Seal of Approval. That recognition is given only to products that support healthy feet and meet high standards to qualify for the seal of approval.
Bottom line: compression socks are not just for flying but worn every day with the Apolla Performance comfort one can wear everyday, especially when there is lots of walking

Life changing compression socks for foot, leg & nerve pain

It sounds silly to say these socks are life changing.. but these socks changed my life. Top reasons why I love these socks:

1) As a digital nomad, I'm frequently on an airplane and I feel so much less inflammation in my legs and just overall less puffy when I wear these compression socks. I love the midcalf version for this.

2) I love playing sports (volleyball, hiking, weightlifting, rollerblading) and I have so much more ankle stability in these socks. The ankle socks are great for everyday use and are easy to put on. Things like rollerblading, I use the mid calf version for more ankle support.

3) PAIN RELIEF... I had a spinal surgery in 2024 for Cauda Equina Syndrome which resulted in some nerve damage in my left calf. At night, I usually suffer from severe nerve pain in my left leg due to the nerve damage. For nights I can manage to keep the socks on (and not kick them off in my sleep)I notice significant reduction in the shooting nerve pain when I'm wearing my apolla socks.

Additionally, their targeted compression is AMAZING for foot pain and foot swelling. Unlike other brands that have the same level compression throughout the entire sock, these socks were designed by a Kinesiologist and you can tell each part of the compression is intentional. I love the compression around foot arch (I have high arches) it feels like a hug for your feet...

4) Not only is this product life changing, the business has a pretty cool back story. The owners are two, women co-founders and the product is made in USA (which is pretty rare these days). They were also on shark tank... Lori loved them and so do I!

As a 13-year All-Star cheerleader

As a 13-year All-Star cheerleader, I’m constantly training, tumbling, and spending long hours on my feet, so having the right support for my feet and ankles is really important. I recently tried Apolla Performance socks and was really impressed with how supportive they feel.

The compression and arch support make a big difference during practice and conditioning. They help my feet feel more stable, especially when tumbling and jumping, and they stay comfortable even during long practices. I also like that they’re breathable and don’t feel bulky in my shoes.

For athletes like cheerleaders, dancers, or anyone who trains a lot, having socks that help with support and recovery is a huge plus. Overall, I’ve had a great experience and would definitely recommend them to other athletes who want extra stability and comfort for their feet.

Tendinitis Reduction Significant

I’ve been a training professionally as a dancer for 10 years and throughout my career i’ve dealt with some serious tendinitis and stress fracture issues. I’ve needed to do a lot of physical therapy sessions, doctors appointments, and rehab work. I’ve had several moments where i’ve been concerned for my entire career because of a reoccurring injury that pushes me backwards. I’ve needed to take time off of pointe work and got weaker. Years ago I had a friend offer to try her Joule Barefoot sock from Apolla, from that day on my view on dance changed I was able to dance through an entire rehearsal day with no pain during or afterwards. I’ve been wearing Apolla wear for 4 years and my stress fractures are gone and my tendinitis has reduced significantly.

Invaluable Recovery Tools

Apolla products have been an invaluable recovery tool in my dance training. I wear the Joule sock constantly when I'm doing pointe work for the extra support and stability, especially when my ankles are tired. I also notice such a big difference in my overall soreness and fatigue the next day when I wear the compression legwarmers. I have recommended Apolla to so many of my fellow adult ballet dancers, and they all say the same thing... We love Apolla!

Apolla changes the game!!

I first got Apolla socks about 5 years ago as a gift from my mom! I was OBSESSED but couldn't find the name anywhere. Recently I needed socks to wear onstage for my solo and I was hearing all about Apolla! I ordered them in black and when they should up I was so excited that they were my favorite pair from so many years ago. I now have three pairs and I am literally obsessed. Definitely not going back!!!

Competitive Dancer and Student

As a competitive dancer, my feet go through a lot, so finding products that actually support them makes a huge difference. I was first introduced to Apolla Performance Wear socks after I broke four metatarsals in my foot. Once I got out of my boot and started the long process of returning to dance, I wore my Apolla socks consistently for about six months while rebuilding strength. The compression, stability, and support they gave my foot during such intense training made me feel so much more confident getting back into jumps, turns, and long rehearsal days.

Since then, Apolla has become a staple not just for me but for my entire studio. The Apolla Joule Shock Half-Sole has basically replaced the traditional dance half sole for so many of us. The material quality is incredible for turning, jumping, and tricks, and the support it provides to the foot is something you don’t get with regular half soles.

Outside of the studio, I wear my Apolla Performance Compression Socks all the time—on flights, while hiking, or even just sitting at school during long days. The compression helps keep my feet feeling supported and less fatigued. When I’m dancing contemporary or modern, I love wearing the Apolla Grip Socks because they give me that extra grip while still letting me move naturally across the floor.

One of my favorite things is how versatile they are. I recently even dyed a pair red to match a solo I’m performing for my senior year, and they worked perfectly.

Apolla has truly become a part of my dance training and recovery routine, and I’m so grateful to be part of a brand that genuinely supports dancers’ bodies.

Apolla performance changed marching arts

Apolla performance changed marching arts for me. As someone who’s been in the marching arts for a while and only discovered Apolla recently it was when I was able to go through 3 days of intense rehearsal wearing my Apolla’s to go home and then not feel pain in my feet for the first time that made me realize the why. Having high arches in a sport where you are barefoot makes it hard but wearing the Joule shock made being on my feet not a problem anymore.

Apolla Performance Is an 10/10

Apolla Performance Is an 10/10! Their socks provide a form of comfort but also provides so much care to our ankles and feet overall! Their customer service is also amazing. I think that everyone would try and invest in apolla performance because it has helped so much with the different injuries that have occurred to me over the past years!
