Bought a license of Aldente.
Battery limits works randomly. Sometimes the battery still charges to 100% eventhough I configured a hard limit and stopped charging in sleep and shutdown mode.
Plus the icon always stays in the Dock and impossible to remove it.
Good idea, bad implementation, way too expensive for what it (supposedly) does.
This is a top tier and must have on your Mac. It's one of the TOP useful and REFINED apps around.
First of all, the battery health on my MacBook Pro M3 is at 100% after more than a year! (keeping it around 50% battery charge always, obviously).
And it has a lot of incredible features (shows energy consumption, cycles, demanded charger energy...) and you can customize every part you should be able to, and more!
Have been using AlDente for almost 2 years, and the team has been improving it like champs! Such an amazing work!

Great tool which should have been built in MacOs
Do not buy this product. They dont have support team, If you make any mistake, your money is gone. They just have some bots which doesn't solve anything. Should have seen the about page first David Wernhart. & Matthias Kerbl straight out scammers.
It works perfectly, always able to prevent my battery from being over charged. It works a promised.
AlDente is a great app, designed to prolong your battery life by not charging the battery to full.
Everything that this app sets to do is done, and done beautifully. It's not an exaggeration to say that everyone should have this app! Great stuff.
