Bad company, initially the workers were good however they let an apprentice finish the job and he ruined it. Didn’t even realise the bricks were the wrong way round until we had to tell him. One of the support beams aren’t even attached to the wall which is just stupid. manager is horrid and the friendly service he pretends to have is a lie. The work is bad overall and them putting my house in their gallery as one of their ‘accomplishments’ is just tragic. I strongly suggest finding a different company as I regret using this one so much and have made sure homes in my town are also aware to stay away from this company

We chose Apple Paving because James answered all our questions and was very patient. Both James and his team were all very professional and polite. The driveway was done in under 2 days and it looks amazing! What a stunning metamorphosis! Would definitely recommend James and his company:)

I bought a new shed , and needed some ground works done ready for a concrete base. James gave me advice and we agreed on a price and the work to be done.

James and his team was brilliant, they done a great job and worked hard all day. They left my garden clean and tidy and the work was completed on time.

My wife and I were looking to renovate and extend our front driveway and have some turfing installed in our back garden plus other minor works.

After contacting Apple Paving and leaving a message, we received a prompt call back and arranged a visit the following evening to survey the work and give us a quote for the job.

James and his assistant listened to what we wanted, offered advice and options, and gave us a quote the next evening – which upon reflection we were happy to accept.

We were told that the duration of the work would be one week, and work started on time a 1.5 weeks later.

The ground workers arrived on time at about 0830 each day, were very polite and tidy, and worked very hard until finishing around 1800.

The supervisor and manager would attend site several times a day to ensure all was going to plan and to discuss options and changes proposed during the works.

The quality and finish of the work was very good and more importantly the preparation work (foundations), was also done correctly meaning it should look good and perform for many years to come.

The duration of the work was 7 days; however the team worked Saturday and Sunday to ensure it was completed on time.

We are very pleased with the result.

We now have a beautiful extended driveway and back garden; delivered on time and budget with no drama.

We wish to thank James and the team at Apple Paving and would recommend them to anyone thinking of having similar works performed.

Saw apple paving board in Hythe, gave them a call and Miles came round to quote. Great bloke. Started on block paving my drive shortly after that and did a great job! Finished today, and have lined them up for some more work in my garden next time.

We have recently had our tarmac driveway taken up and replaced with brick paving. We had seen this transformation at a neighbour's house and were so impressed that we asked Apple Paving to do the same for ours. We had a survey and a quote done within a couple of hours of making the call, and they started two days later. The team were highly professional and very hard working - starting first thing in the morning through to dusk. They are excellent communicators, always pointing out where or when there might be an issue due to weather conditions or supplies. They work quickly but are also perfectionist so will not leave the job until it is absolutely complete and to your satisfaction. We found the team easy to work with, reliable and hardworking with an eye for the finer details. We have had many compliments from neighbours and passers by about our new driveway so we are delighted we chose Apple Paving. Would highly recommend.

Apple Paving recently installed a new gravel driveway at our grade II listed home. The work consisted of removing the existing asphalt, levelling the ground, install granite sett edging around the perimeter and across the boundary with the pavement; putting down a permeable membrane barrier and then installing the gravel.

Apple Paving advised on the selection of the stone; silver granite setts and Cotswold buff gravel and secured all materials.

Throughout the job the contractors were polite, hardworking and diligent. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Disappointing service from Apple Paving

Not a good experience. The two lads that did the paving were pleasant and worked hard. James behaviour was drunk & unprofessional shouting the odds about how his assistant had priced it wrong, wanting cash up front, staged? further visits pushing hard for cash; he said 'my kind' understand, when pressed, it transpires that Asians pay in cash. I'm South American descent but very British. Several issues still need sorting but despite agreeing to fix they haven't bothered. Photos on Google reviews. They dragged heavy machinery over the drive leaving marks on the paving that won't come out. A shoddy and uneven finish with chipped bricks. Nasty neighbour slated them as travellers with dodgy work, to all my other neighbours and despite this, I didn't judge them and believed they would do a good job. So disappointed...I would have been more forgiving, all they had to do was fill the bricks with sand, level off uneven, and replaced the chipped and marked bricks. I've already shown several people who have gone elsewhere, which is a shame because it could have been sorted easily. Now, I'm concerned that it will sink as mentioned by other reviewers... And if it does, I'll keep posting negative reviews.
It sank, in places truly shoddy work... Had another random guy hand me a leaflet and asked if I wanted it fixed... Because it looks rubbish, not falling for that again!
