It was a really interesting and practical talk on rose pruning and care, with lots of insider tit bits which I will now remember. We also spent some time on a shrub with our secateurs which was so helpful to do whilst being overseen. The class was cleverly run at a certain pace whereby it was a long enough class for us to get all the info we wanted (and lots more besides), to ask questions about our own roses, and to have a practice, whilst not being too long for there to be a lull or a chance of distraction. Set in their extensive grounds with a huge variety of roses and rose products, as well as some other plants. Yummy cake and tea/coffee offerings there too. Well worth the £15 and a really enjoyable experience. Thank you!

The pruning course on Saturday was brilliant, really interesting and fun with great advice and hands on experience. Also delicious and generous helpings of cake.

Thoroughly enjoyed the pruning workshop. Learnt not only how to prune different types of roses, but also how to prevent diseases and encourage healthy growth. Great supply of tea and excellent homemade cake too. Friendly staff who encourage you to be brave with your roses.
