Do not pay any money to this company
I am £30 down with nothing to show for it.
Was told it was on back order but after over a year of emails and phone calls (of course no reply) still no product or refund.

Two issues with my order

Two issues with my order - firstly around the delivery of the item. I was told I’d receive a call in advance to arrange delivery on a suitable day (since the item is very large and therefore kerbside delivery) but the item simply arrived without being able to arrange this. Second issue is the base of the cabinet unit is missing. Hard to believe I could spend this much money for a part to be missing. Reading other reviews I’m not confident of receiving the missing part soon which means I’m left with a massive fish tank laying around that I can’t build. Frustrating is an understatement.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I've bought off them for years without a problem but my last order has totally been blanked .
I've emailed them loads of times the phone line won't ever get answered so it looks like they've gone out of business and taking my money with them.
please don't waste your money on this company

Farce!!!

Absolute jokers who have no idea of their own product specifications.

Filter purchased in December 19. Worked fine. Started leaking and dribbling water from head unit. They blamed an o ring which not covered under warranty. It’s never had an o ring!! Not one shown in the user manual or demonstration video. They said without one water would be cascading out the filter??! How’s that work then, if it’s been fine till now. Absolutely ridiculous. It isnt cascading, it’s dribbling.

Don’t waste your time with them. Poor quality products, appalling customer service and warranty evidently means nothing

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service! They mis sold filters (Aqua One Carbon and Ceramic Cartridges) as being suitable for an Aqua One Nano 40, but they don't fit them and they wont give me a refund unless I pay to return them! I wouldn't have bought them if i had been told they wouldn't fit!

Do not purchase Aqua Reef 525 S2

I purchased this product about two years ago. A few months ago the white lights on one of the LED lighting units became significantly dimmer for no apparent reason. A month or so later the same occurred to the blue lights on the other unit. Aqua One’s policy is that the store of purchase is responsible for all after care, so I contacted them. After they spoke with Aqua One I was advised that if I had the receipt still I needed to send the units to Aqua One for them to attempt a repair. Even if I did have the receipt there is a major issue with this as this would necessitate that my fish and corals be without lights for however many weeks it would take the company to repair and return them. Another issue is that the lights themselves form part of the lid of the tank, leaving me at risk of having fish jump out for the duration I’m without the lighting units. The alternative to sending them in for repair, I was told, was I could purchase new units at more than $300 each.

This is a substandard unit and factoring in the cost of problems, and the substandard quality of the lights and the cabinet you’re far better off having a custom tank built with high quality fixtures.

aquaparts-co.uk Run at Old Church Hall, Leicestershire, LE67 6JQ are an absolutely awful company! I paid a lot of money for next day delivery which didn’t happen. When I called them to say it hadn’t arrived they said “we don’t offer next day delivery which our website clearly says” I told them it didn’t and they had charged me, to which they just hung up on me! Please don’t buy from this dishonest company

FPR aqua one spare parts run by melanie…

FPR aqua one spare parts run by melanie and paul from Leicestershire le67 6jq need to sort there attitude and act out . You put a order in through there online site they take your money and forget the order . They message you late at night and tell you that they didnt see your order and say to you what do you want money or wait until July. When you tell his stuppid wife your not happy she passes you over to her so called partner because she cant be bothered to deal with it . No way to run a business. I am going to go directly to aqua and report them because that's who they get the business off.

Great Company

Great Company!

Had Aqua One products for many years and have 1st hand had a fantastic experience. Their customer sales team are fantastic and always willing to assist or point you in the right direction should you have any queries.

Total rubbish. Not fit for purpose..

I have a Evo 100 aquarium set up. The first light unit lasted 7yrs. A replacement cost £144 and lasted 3yrs. The next one lasted under two years. The unit is on a digital timer and only runs for 7hrs a day. You would expect to replace the tubes but not the whole thing with this frequency. Not fit for purpose. Aquaone were not interested as it was over a year old. This company does not deserve to be in business selling such poor quality equipment. I will stick to jewel aquariums in future. Do not waste your money on Aquaone products. I eventually repaired the unit with a Philips ballast unit costing £15. Aquaone is a rip off!

Absolutely SHOCKING customer service

Absolutely SHOCKING customer service. After 2 years. Two. Years. My aquarium has just spontaneously cracked top to bottom on the right side and all I get told is 'We do not cover glass breakages under any circumstances on our warranty'. Their design flaw, their problem. I was laid in bed when it happened as it was at 11:30pm! I didn't knock the glass which was clearly being suggested in their reply.

I've checked other reviews of this tank ' aqua one aqua aspire 55 litre ' and they all say the same thing, cracked on the corner with the curved glass. A picture i saw on another review also showed the exact same corner breaking as mine! This is a bigger problem than they care to admit. Avoid the company. They don't care about their product once they have your money. Disgusting.
