Having decided to go to Oman ,making contact and having a face to face ( zoom) meeting almost immediately with someone that has in depth and up to date knowledge together with being a total expert in their field is a total joy .After our exchanges of ideas this led to Marina suggesting and setting out a most amazing 3 week journey through the upper part of Oman. Not only was the variety spot on but the pace worked so well.For me ,it is always all about the journey and the experiences that you have on the way . The clever use of technology allowed Marina to point us in the right direction each day and for us to pick and choose which of the various highlighted sights we wanted to take in . From our first point of contact to departure with vehicle and accommodation booked we were off in 8 days. I can’t sing praises loud enough .

We have had an incredible experience because of the trip Marina arranged. It was everything we could have asked of and more.

We had little time to arrange our trip but after one call with her, she put together the perfect itinerary and suggestions. It was booked and organised in less than 24 hours. She was lovely, and we felt we could really trust her.

Everything went as planned and Marina was available as needed if it we wanted to tweak it or do something different. She gave us a brilliant google maps and was also available on WhatsApp.

I followed The Desert Diva across Saudi Arabia, through the Empty Quarter (we found the lakes and found our way blocked and then met wonderful people to help find our way out), through the Fire (a good thing, Al Hariq is beautiful), and through thousands of kilometers of the picturesque north-west too!

She consistently finds interesting people and places, and runs a safe convoy in some of the most remote places on earth.

I am the leader of an offroad group and wanted to organize a four days overland trip in Oman, but I had no time to plan it and not much knowledge of Oman. I asked Marina (aka the Desert Diva) if she could build a road-book for me with route, camp site, point of interest, etc.
She made some proposal, we tweaked the route based on the requirement of my group, and in the end I’ve received a perfect road-book with all the required information (including public toilets 😊 ). The timings were perfect with a right balance of driving, sightseeing, resting. The trip was a huge success and all the members enjoyed it a lot.
I strongly recommend Marina’s services. Her massive knowledge of the region (UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia) is IMPRESSIVE (quite normal after more than 20 years wandering around). Her listening and understanding of the requirements is outstanding, enabling her to build perfect experiences.
