Great communication!
The level of care taken by the solicitor handling the matter was the highest among all parties involved.
After using another legal company first no names mentioned!that we became so saddened that they did nothing with our case for over 12 months.
ARAG communicated at a level that we understand. Not being a solicitor myself. And had no problem with calling me when a question arose that needed a quick response.
Mr Solak was a true gentleman who we would recommend anytime to anyone.
Great service 10/10.
Mr & Mrs N Davies.
Worst law firm I have ever dealt with
Worst law firm I have ever dealt with. Communication was extremely poor throughout and I constantly had to chase for updates, with little to no response.
Despite my claim being accepted, I ended up handling the entire process myself — including the court proceedings and repossession of my property — while dealing with a non-paying tenant. I even paid the court fees personally because of the delays and lack of action.
I informed them that I had filed the court order myself and still received no response. My case handlers phone was always off. The whole process felt incredibly slow and frustrating at a time when urgent action was needed.
The only reason I used them was because I was referred through Direct Line legal expenses insurance. Based on my experience, I would strongly avoid.

Absolutely terrible experience with…
Absolutely terrible experience with ARAG Rent Guarantee.
The entire process feels designed to delay, frustrate, and avoid paying legitimate claims rather than support landlords when things genuinely go wrong.
My tenant was arrested and removed by the police, who also forced entry and damaged the front door during the incident. Despite providing police references and all requested information, the handling of the matter has been extremely poor.
The Rent Guarantee cover through ARAG has been hugely disappointing. I have now gone almost two months without rent while still paying the mortgage and ongoing property costs entirely from my own pocket.
Communication is dreadful. Emails receive nothing but automated acknowledgements claiming someone will respond within 5 working days — which often never happens.
The phone lines are an absolute farce. You sit waiting for 30 minutes or more listening to repeated messages saying “you are at the front of the queue and your call will be answered shortly.” Then when someone finally answers, they are not even from the claims department and cannot provide any meaningful update. It is a complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating.
The claims handlers appear poorly coordinated, responses are inconsistent, and there is no sense of urgency, ownership, or accountability. As a customer who has paid premiums in good faith, it is extremely frustrating and frankly insulting to be treated this way when you actually need support.
There has been no fault on my part as a landlord, yet I am the one left financially struggling while ARAG continuously delays matters and appears more focused on obstacles and process than resolving legitimate claims fairly.
ARAG seriously need to review how they handle landlord claims and start acting in good faith towards customers rather than treating every claim as something to avoid paying.
I would strongly caution landlords before relying on these products.

My experience with ARAG Law is great
My experience with ARAG Law is great. Their staff take action proactively after knowing my intention. There is not a day of delay in the whole enforcement exercise. My wife and I are extremely happy with ARAG Law.
I score it 4.5.
I score it 4.5.
Great work by Dani who has consistently updated me with progress. As we are all humans, client needs to check work given to them, as mistakes such as spelling of names and calculations can occur. Hence, the missing 0.5 to make it perfect.
Dani is very helpful in providing explanations and always I felt best to accept her advise. It does come tricky when it comes to negotiations with the Respondent, but having ARAG's experience they do help on a range of figures to start with.
Extremely poor communication and lack of professionalism
Our experience with ARAG Law, as provided through our insurance with Admiral, has been extremely disappointing.
Despite repeated attempts to get updates on our case over a prolonged period, including multiple emails and several phone calls requesting a response, we have received no reply whatsoever or even basic acknowledgment. Requests for a call back have been completely ignored.
The lack of communication has been unacceptable, particularly given that the matter is time sensitive and causing ongoing disruption. There has been no clear progress, no proactive updates, and no sense that the case is being properly managed.
We are left having to chase repeatedly without any response, which is not what we would expect from a legal service provided through an established insurer.
At this stage, the service provided has fallen well below an acceptable standard, and we are now considering formal escalation due to the continued lack of response.

Landlord/Tenant Problem
During a Landlord/Tenant problem my assigned legal help came from Charley Ball. I was very happy with her knowledge and dedication. She was always available to reassure me during what was, and continues to be, a stressful and frustrating situation.
Highly Recommend
We were very pleased with the support we received throughout our employment tribunal. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and guided us clearly through each stage of the process. Their advice and preparation were excellent, and thanks to their help we achieved a successful outcome. We would highly recommend their services.
Vanshika has a hidden cape - A REAL SUPERHERO!
Vanshika has a hidden cape. I feel she may be a secret Avenger and if she isn’t; then she certainly has human superpowers of organisation, communication and consistency, arts long lost in this world.
A credit to ARAG, a credit to her team and it is to our benefit that she jumped onto our account. Our claim was suffering somewhat (initially) and we had experienced broken communication. Vanshika then parachuted in - or flew as I say she has a hidden cape - and saved the day.
Sure this all sounds very cheesy but she really is that good. Her use of language, her patience and her will to fight for her clients, in an unwavering professional manner, will take her very, very far in her career.
Manager, CEO OF ARAG - promote this superstar... right now!
That’s an order

Very calm and helpful first call
Very calm and helpful first call from this company. Followed quickly by email Claim Form which was easy to complete except for the section requiring detailed information on the Contract and correspondence. I tried but failed to download this from my laptop - probably because I am 81 and not wholly proficient with IT technology.
Do not call you back
Do not call you back, had a claim ongoing 9 weeks with nothing progressing asking for same documents multiple times I called 7 times in one week to be told someone would contact me back. I was promised calls from my solicitor, supervisors and other members of staff which I never received the level of service is beyond disappointing. This company shouldn’t be handling any sort of data or claims.

I highly recommend Lucy Reed at ARAG…
I highly recommend Lucy Reed at ARAG Law Limited for their exceptional service.
They were professional, thorough, and kept me informed at every stage during my case, making what could have been a stressful experience very straightforward. Lucy handled my matter with great efficiency and was always available to answer my questions, delivering a high-quality service at a reasonable pace,
Sincerest thanks, Mr Rayner
Painful experience
Slow, bureaucratic, and ineffective. Ended up going elsewhere. I’ve been asked to provide the same information multiple times, often weeks apart, with no clear progress. Their stated 2-week SLA between communications is always taken in full. What should be straightforward ends up dragging on for months. Very nice on the phone when put through by their switchboard but their internal processes are a shambles. "I'll get this accelerated" rings hollow when it's been months and no recall about my case.

Horrible experience
They are just very late in providing assessments and constantly miss the deadlines they themselves set.

RUSSELL LANGFORD'S INABILITY TO PROFESSIONALLY ADDRESS A COMPLAINT WAS ABHORRENT!!
Our insurer, the NFU referred our case to the unprofessional ARAG Law in relation to a Commercial Landlord dispute.
UPDATE - ARAG HAS CLAIMED MY REVIEW IS DEFAMATORY WHIICH HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AS UNFOUNDED. THE REVIEW CONTAINS THE ACTUAL WORDS OF ARAG EMPLOYEES WHICH HAS BEEN DEEMED PROFESSIONAL AND ACCEPTABLE - IT APPEARS THAT ARAG ARE CLAIMING THEY ARE DEFAMATORY.
We raised a complaint to the NFU due to the threat we received from George Dilks. The NFU reached out to their contact at ARAG, they referred to the complaint to a Partner, Chris Neill who in our opinion inappropriately allocated the complaint Russell Langford as he works within the same department as the individuals who we have raised the complaint against. Any complaint within a business should be investigated independently, which prevents bias and a provides a thorough investigation of the complaint.
Russell Langford was condescending, aloof, disrespectful and contradictory by quoting incorrect facts of our case, all with the aim to respond with the 15 day response time, even though he concurred with the points raised he did not to uphold the complaint, which is dumbfounding.
When this issue was initially raised with a Partner at ARAG who acts as the liaison between the NFU, he was also shocked by the threat and content of the email, and that the complaint was not upheld.
The complaint we raised included the threatening behaviour of George Dilks, incorrect facts of our case and addressing of our name, the latter of which Russell Langford himself disrespectfully addressed us incorrectly displays his lack of attention to detail. The other issues included severe communication delays, inability to address queries, continued deviation of our case with no explanation.
Russell Langford responded as follows and we have highlighted the responses in capital letters for:
'UNFORTUNATELY, MR LEWIS DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR PREVIOUS CORRESPONDENCE UNTIL 22/05/2025. I APOLOGISE FOR THIS OMISSION' Emails were sent on the 17/4/2025 and 13/05/25, unacceptably, no response received from the Paralegal until 22/05/25.
'THERE WERE FURTHER EMAIL EXCHANGES BETWEEN THE DATES 20/06/2025 AND 03/07/2025. THE CORRESPONDENCE AT THIS TIME PRESENTED A PATTERN WHEREBY YOU WOULD SEND IN LENGTHY EMAILS WITH A NUMBER OF QUERIES LISTED AND WOULD RECEIVE BRIEF RESPONSES BACK FROM MR LEWIS, OFTEN FOCUSING ON A SOLE ISSUE.'
'THIS CULMINATED IN AN EMAIL SENT BY YOU ON 07/07/2025 EXPRESSING DISSATISFACTION AT HOW THE MATTER WAS BEING HANDLED.' Many emails sent expressing our lack of trust in Mr Lewis, but was not acknowledged.
'YOU SENT US FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE RAISING AN ISSUE WITH THE MISSPELLING OF YOUR SURNAME AND A NUMBER OF QUERIES RELATING TO OUR RECENT ADVICE. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS EMAIL WAS NOT RESPONDED TO PROMPTLY, WITH MR LEWIS NOT GETTING BACK TO YOU.'
'THERE WERE THEN A NUMBER OF EMAILS EXCHANGED BETWEEN MR LEWIS AND YOU DURING THE PERIOD OF 05/08/2025 AND 21/08/2025. DURING THAT TIME, MR LEWIS CONTINUED TO RESPOND TO YOU FULLY AND APPEARED TO ADDRESS ALL OF THE ISSUES THAT YOU RAISED.' This entire statement is untrue, communications were not responded to during this time period, and can be proved.
'I MUST ADVISE YOU THAT I DO NOT DISAGREE WITH THE ADVICE THAT WAS PROVIDED AS THE RISKS MR LEWIS HAS IDENTIFIED, HOWEVER, I DO APPRECIATE THAT THE CORRESPONDENCE WAS QUITE NEGATIVE AND IT SHOULD HAVE ALSO MADE CLEAR THAT THERE IS NO REASON TO DEVIATE FROM YOUR PREVIOUS POSITION' Yet again, an evident lack of professionalism and a contradiction stated by Russell Langford.
In relation to the threat made George Dilks, Russell Langford horrifically stated the following:
'MOVING TO THE EMAIL SENT TO YOU BY MY COLLEAGUE MR DILKS, THIS EMAIL IS ALSO NOT SUFFICIENT FOR ME TO UPHOLD YOUR COMPLAINT. HOWEVER, I ACCEPT THE TONE OF HIS EMAIL COULD HAVE BEEN MISINTERPRETED AND I SINCERELY APOLOGISE IF MY COLLEAGUE’S EMAIL OFFENDED YOU IN ANY WAY. BUT I ACCEPT THAT HIS EMAIL MAY READ MORE AS A DEFENCE OF MR LEWIS THAN AN ATTEMPT TO ADDRESS YOUR CONCERNS, WHICH WAS REGRETTABLE.' The blatant condoning of the threat we received from George Dilks, is an outrageous and mind blowing response from Russell Langford which is deplorable, also admitting the threat was to defend his friend, really??
We raised a complaint against Russell Langford who inappropriately and unprofessionally handled our complaint with another Partner but it has been ignored, truly abhorrent service.

I cannot recommend ARAG Law highly…
I cannot recommend ARAG Law highly enough for their handling of my civil case. From the very beginning, their team was incredibly professional, helpful, and informative, ensuring that I felt supported throughout the entire legal journey.
I would like to mention my legal representative, Briony Pay, in particular. Her expertise and dedication were instrumental in the successful outcome of my case. Every part of the process was made remarkably easy and was well explained by Briony, whose clear communication took the stress out of a complex situation. I would not hesitate to use ARAG again and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of legal assistance.
Frustrating
The whole process took far to long with the trainee solicitor not replying to my emails for some times over a week.
