Unfortunately I did.
I had machine delivered mid December, I didn’t open it till Xmas eve as it was a Xmas present for my 11 year old son.when I plugged it in nothing appeared on the screen.
I done all the checks before I got in touch with the help team, they said someone would be in touch that day to rectify the problem, no one bothered getting in touch with me.
My son got up on Xmas morning to a machine that didn’t work, so he was obviously gutted.I received a phone call at 1 pm Xmas day from Joe, he said he could fix problem, my response was your company said you were going to in touch yesterday, he didn’t bother,I said it doesn’t work, I’m returning the broken machine
I emailed the help team to notify them that I was returning the machine that doesn’t work.
I done a 9 hour round trip to deliver the machine in person so they couldn’t say they hadn’t received it.
I was told as soon as I returned machine I would get me refund, which hasn’t happened,
I’ve emailed Rod from the help team a couple of times but he hasn’t replied,

The outcome you describe was caused by your own decisions, not by any failure on our part.

You chose not to open or check the machine when it was delivered in mid-December, despite our clear requirement to inspect within 72 hours. That decision alone created the Christmas situation you now complain about.

When you finally contacted us on Christmas Eve, Rod responded immediately. You were advised the issue was not a fault, but a monitor power-saving setting that could be fixed in under a minute. You were also advised a technician would contact you.

Despite it being Christmas, our technician still called you on Christmas Day. Instead of allowing us to resolve the issue, you refused assistance and chose to return the machine.

Your son’s disappointment was therefore not caused by a broken product, nor by lack of support — it was caused by your refusal to check the machine when delivered and your refusal to allow us to fix it when we tried.

Your claim that you were ignored is factually incorrect. Your claim that the machine was broken is also incorrect.

Refunds are processed only after returned machines are received and logged, which is standard business procedure.

It is not reasonable to delay inspection, reject support, and then assign blame for the outcome.

We stand by our product, our service, and our actions.

Once your machine is received, processed and checked, a refund will follow.

Great service and great product

We decided VERY close to Christmas to purchase a Bartop machine. We contacted Arcade Geeks initially to enquire about delivery dates. Rod replied personally to us on a Sunday to say the machine could be built and despatched in time for Xmas, and that DPD would still be doing next day delivery. The machine was indeed despatched on the 22nd, but then DPD had a nightmare! They received the machine at our local hub on the morning of the 23rd, but somehow began the process of delivering it back to Arcade Geeks! Rod was immediately on the case, and the machine arrived on our doorstep on Xmas Eve. Rod was quick to respond to all of our comms throughout the process, and we have received great, if somewhat rare, customer service. The product itself is amazing, and definitely got the best reaction on Xmas day. The machine feels sturdy and the buttons are extremely comfortable and responsive. It looks absolutely amazing and all of the games played so far have performed flawlessly.

Absolutely love the machine!!

Absolutely love the machine!!!
I contacted arcade geeks, with a few questions as I have been looking at getting an arcade machine for a while. They were extremely helpful and polite and this gave me confidence in them, so I ordered my cabinet that night. I am very happy I did, they kept me upto date with my order and one of their staff delivered my cabinet one evening, which worked perfectly for me with me working full time. The guy who delivered the machine was very helpful and gave me some great advise in where to keep it. It took a few minutes to set up (mainly as I was admiring the detail on the art work) On first start up the game list didnt load up, but after removing and re inserting the sd card. It worked perfectly, it took a bit of getting used to, when navigating the menus. I rang arcade geeks the following day, with some questions and they answered all my questions and even sent me out a new sd card as my issue when starting up continued. (Didnt effect me playing, but just meant I had to remove and reinsert sd card on start up) The new sd card turned up quickly, even with it being xmas and the issue is resolved. I have recommended Arcade Geeks to many of my friends and will be definitely using them again in the future. Thank you to everyone at Arcade Geeks!

Positive experience

Positive experience. Delivery took a little longer than expected however understandable due to time of year. Only complaint would be that this was not communicated and had to contact for update.

Shipment was well packaged! Have been having a lot of fun so far!!

Great service!

Last year I received my Back to the Future Arcade Elite cabinet where i have enjoyed hours of fun. I recently contact Rod as a bulb was flickering on one of the player 1 buttons. He promptly and kindly sent out a pack of replacement bulbs. Great communication! Would definitely recommend!

Worth the wait!

Ok let's remember it's December and couriers are busy, so the " Classic Arcade Machine arrived a day late. Installed it and only sound and no screen working.. rang up and discovered the monitor lead hadn't been installed. Staff on phone were very apologetic and sent one out on next day delivery and again arrived a day late. I ended up getting two as they send another to make sure! Anyway this solved the problem.. machine looked great..but still couldn't play anything as it was asking for a coin to play. I rang the guys up and they talked me through the settings. Eureka!!.. they even upgrade the machine to 5000 games!
Took me back to my childhood playing in arcades..i'm discovering new games on it all the time...Absolutely love it!
Apart from the couple of delays and minor installation problems the service was excellent. The staff there obviously care and even rang after to hours to help. Particular praise to John who sent photos to help. Will definitely be back!

Perfect experience!

Machine arrived in just over 3 weeks from payment, communication was perfect, unit came exactly as advertised, plug and play, easy to use, all the games are great as I remember from my childhood. Amazing!

Nostalgia in a box

Customer Service ????

I ordered the machine no problem.

I was not particularly in a rush but chased it a few weeks later.

I was given a delivery date which came and passed. Again not really a problem as it was to be delivered to a business address so I did not have to stay at home waiting.

I chased again and was given a revised delivery date, this time it did turn up.

I took it home and plugged it in. Muddled through the controls as no instructions issued with the machine and I could not find any videos on their website which related to my spec machine, it appeared to work fine though I was missing the contollers.
I also noted that the buttons and joysticks were a different colour to what I ordered but at the time was not too bothered.
It all went downhill 2 days after delivery so I emailed the customer service. 5/10/25 with the following issues.
1. Wrong colour button and joystick
2. No wireless controllers
3. Machine started crashing randomly or would not turn on.
4. The above led me to look into the cabinet and I voiced concerns that some of the components were not new as they looked old and dusty. I honestly was expecting them to be new.

I received my one and only response from the company on the 7 / 10 / 2025 as below

Hi Simon

I am not sure if my last e-mail was received as I didn't get a notification.

just resending the user videos over to yourself.

the xbox controllers are being sent direct and will be with yourself tomorrow.

i do apologise for the delay.

This response skirted over the fact that I had not received the spec machine I ordered, response the the machine crashing and also the query regarding the condition of the parts used.

I was then on holiday for 2 weeks and emailed them again on the 18/10/25 as I had a few queries in relation the the lightguns which came with the machine and controllers which I did receive in the end. I am yet to recieve any response despite chasing again on the 3/11/25.

I am not one to bash a business without merit but this has been an unpleasant experience and at neary £1,600 not a cheap one.

Here's hoping I may get a response from this as they appear more active on here than their emails.

1. Exit Button – You Confirmed It Works
You wrote to us: “Granted, that does work thanks.”
This confirms the exit button worked exactly as intended. Your review suggests otherwise, which is not accurate.

2. Machine Powering Off
Your review describes the machine “crashing”, but you told us:
“Sometimes I leave it on, come back later and it has turned off.”
This is not a crash. Your machine uses a Windows PC, which enters sleep/hibernation if left unused — especially if left running while you’re out of the house. We advised shutting it down when not in use.

3. Guns & Controllers – Never Plugged In
Your review mentions issues with guns and controllers, yet you asked us:
“Do the guns and pads require no configuration?”
This made it clear neither had been plugged in or tested. They cannot be faulty if they have not been connected.
We explained:
• Controllers may need one sync button held on first use.
• Light guns must be plugged in before powering on; otherwise, they simply need a quick re-sync.
As they were never connected, no fault exists.

4. Button & Joystick Colours
You noted in email that you noticed the colour difference but were “not too bothered at the time.”
Despite that, we immediately offered:
• A replacement yellow set
• Phone/video fitting support
• Or a pallet collection if you preferred us to fit them
We also explained we fitted red because we felt it suited your theme — an honest attempt to enhance the look. Your review suggests this was ignored, but we acted on this and gave solutions to rectifying this.

5. Internal Components
You questioned if parts were new. We explained clearly:
• All components are new except the screen and PCB, which are manufacturer-refurbished
• This is disclosed in our Terms (Section 15)
• These items are fully covered under your 5-year parts warranty
We also apologised if any dust was present, as CNC machinery can produce fine dust during manufacturing.

6. Communication
Your review says we were unresponsive, but our email trail shows:
• We replied to your initial message
• We sent all video guides
• We confirmed controller dispatch
• We offered technical support and called several times no answer on several calls (but you advised you do not take calls, making real-time troubleshooting difficult)
• You were away for two weeks after your first message
• We provided a direct mobile number until 8pm
• We did not receive replies to our follow-ups
We cannot respond to messages we did not receive.

Faulty units I ordered 3 arcade units 2 were faulty, refunds not honoured, always came up with excuses for there terrible business practices

I ordered 3 arcade units, in the form of 2 regular bar top units and 1 fullsize unit, when they arrived, very late I might add, 2 of the 3 units were faulty on arrival, this was reported as soon as possible but after many months talking with the company no resolution has been honoured.

faults such as the screen on one of the units kept blacking out every 10-40 seconds during gameplay, there was also another fault a unit was crashing in the main menu as well as one unit not even registering any games on arrival, requiring a new main board to be replaced, the build quality of these units is also shockingly bad internally, there were loose wires inside one of the units that had to be attached, and even the audio knob on the more expensive unit was missing on delivery.

This company claims to use premium parts and I even paid for the upgrades on the fullsize unit, but what was received was not premium, infact even the monitors used inside the cabinets are over a decade old PC monitors so could fail any year now, if a company is gonna build a customer an arcade machine, at least be transparent and say the parts are old.

After a lot of calls and emails, quite frankly to many to count, Arcade geeks offered spare parts and a partial refund to be processed by a set date, which was quite a insult after the sheer hassle of month of debating the faulty units, I now had to fix them, however I reluctantly agreed to the partial refund as I was fed up with the sheer time spent on this issue, however no refund was sent so even this they did not honor.

instead there company to this day proves unreliable and it just feels like I was scammed.

To clarify the facts for transparency:

You purchased three arcade machines, two of which you later reported as having faults.

Our technical team immediately sent out replacement game boards at no cost, before receiving the faulty ones back — a goodwill gesture to minimise your downtime.

You were never instructed to dispose of the original boards. Our Returns & Warranty Policy, which you agreed to at checkout, clearly states that all faulty components must be returned, as they remain the property of Arcade Geeks and are required for supplier inspection, as of today 6 Nov 25, we have yet to receive those back!

A £190 goodwill refund was processed the previous week and received by you on 3 November 2025, despite you not returning the faulty boards.

The replacement audio knob was also dispatched with proof of posting available.

It is therefore incorrect to claim that “no refund was honoured” or that your issues were ignored. Every commitment has been met — in fact, we went beyond our standard obligations.

It’s also important to note that you placed this order as a business, not a private consumer. As you are a business purchaser "Genkigeekslimited", you are fully aware (or should be) that warranty processes require the return of faulty parts for cost recovery and inspection. Disposing of those parts without authorisation breaches standard warranty procedure and voids supplier accountability.

We appreciate that faults can be frustrating, but this review omits key facts and misrepresents our handling of your case. Our records demonstrate that all actions were carried out promptly, fairly, and in good faith.

Bought this with the 10000 games pack, love the game’s selection, I’m a fan of 80s and 90s arcade games and Nintendo, which it has plenty of. Great experience of arcade geeks.

All I can say is Wow, from start of my order to delivery, the service has been one of the best services I’ve ever had, the arcade machine is stunning attention to detail has blown me away, the huge library of games is incredible, they play exactly how a I remember them, the only problem now, I am on here till gone past midnight 😂 I cannot recommend these guys enough, what u waiting for just do it !

I am delighted with my Space Invaders…

I am delighted with my Space Invaders machine, the quality is excellent and the service from the team has been great. I did have a missing power cable but was able to use one from another item I had a home. As soon as I let the team know they expressed a replacement to me. Great service thank you!

AG Elite - Star Wars livery

My AG elite arrived in all its splendid artwork 4 weeks after ordering. I and my family are thoroughly enjoying playing on the machine. Many happy memories rekindled and shared with the kids. The look and feel of the machine is brilliant and the system is easy to use considering the number of platforms and games. Couldn’t recommend more if you are looking for an home arcade machine.

Brilliant game console and great seller.

I purchased this for my brother. He loves the old arcade games and had found the one he really wanted. I ordered the wrong one and the seller was brilliant at making sure the order was amended. Due to personal circumstances we asked if the order could be despatched earlier. 48 hours later my brother received the arcade game and he’s over the moon with it. Brilliant piece of kit and would highly recommend 😊
