Customer service despicable

The product is average quality, but the customer service is very bad. My parcel was supposed to arrive in 3 working days, but after a month I hadn't received it yet. They told me they have not control on delivery and they couldn't track the parcel. When I finally received the backpack (3 weeks after the trip where I would have needed), I had to pay an unknown fee. Customer service did not reply to my complain about this. Stay away from them

Impressed

I could not recommend Arcido more highly. Not only are their bags and accessories thoughtfully designed and well-made, Will was exceptionally helpful when I contacted him before ordering, and also when I wanted to return one accessory because I realised I wouldn't need it. Once I placed my order, it arrived within a couple of days, and I absolutely love my new bag!

Needed chasing but upgraded to a great bag at a great price.

I bought a Saxon backpack via Amazon a couple of years ago and have been really pleased. My son needed a similar bag which I ordered directly from Arcido as they are no longer on Amazon.

After about a week and no bag, no update to my order status and not being able to get through on the phone or email, I was beginning to regret not having read the recent reviews posted here before ordering.

However, 3 days after sending my first email I got a reply to say that the Saxon v2 was out of stock and offering me an upgrade which I selected and which then arrived the next day. The backpack is the same great quality as my original Saxon and with their Summer Sale and the upgrade great value too.

No product and radio silence from Arcido’s side

Ordered a back bag couple weeks ago with an additional express delivery option. Paid from the service and the product and have received only one email from customer service that they will ask from the warehouse what’s happened with the order as an answer to my voice mail message. After that email I have used the chat bot at Arcido’s web site 4 times, sent an email to Arcido 4 times, called to their customer service 2 times without any response.

Looks and seems like a fraud, let’s see how it turns out..

Wrong delivery, no answer

My first order didn't arrive, apparently went back. The second order came with the wrong backpack, not what I ordered. After complaining by email about how to proceed with the return, no reply was received. I am very frustrated.

Hi Harry- sorry that you are still having trouble with this. After you told us about the wrong backpack, we agreed to send the correct model to you, and to allow you to keep the one sent in error. I believe it should be with you by now, beacause of Covid and Brexit many of our orders to EU have been delayed. I will follow up with the logistics company who caused this error and try and find out where the replacement is.

Long delay in delivery, but got there in the end

Have not received anything to date, and follow up emails are being ignored.

Sep 28 - Placed my order.
Oct 02 - Requested cancellation of order, as have not received shipping notification.
Oct 03 - Was informed my order was shipped out Sep 29, so order cannot be cancelled.
Oct 04 - Tracking provided only upon my request.
Oct 14 - Followed up on package, as no movement showing on shipping tracker.
Oct 15 - Was advised delays are due to custom clearances.
Oct 15 - Suddenly advised late in the evening that one item in my order was not in stock, hence order cannot be fulfilled.
Oct 16 - Sought confirmation whether or not my order was actually shipped, as I was originally advised.

It is Nov 3 now and no one has gotten back to me. Per the tracking provided, as of today only data has been received but the item has still not been shipped. I have been requesting a cancellation of the order without receiving any response. Cannot recommend.

Update as of Nov 18: Received two emails on Nov 4. The first one to apologize for a third party fault (warehouse not fulfilling order), and the second one walking that back and saying my order was actually shipped and that they are chasing up the logistics company to locate it. I responded straightaway to ask if I was just supposed to wait indefinitely for my order to show up, and have not heard back again as of today. Have not received anything either!

Update as of Dec 4:

Nov 19 - Was told again that my order was sent in full and was offered a refund of shipping fees given lengthy time for delivery. I responded saying I would indeed appreciate the refund of shipping fees once I receive my order.
Nov 20 - Finally received my order, but one of the items was wrong (packing cubes instead of compression cube). I immediately notified customer service of this, and asked for a refund of the shipping fees and the compression cube I paid for, and indicated I would be happy to return the packing cubes if they also cover the cost of return shipping.

I followed up on the above on Nov 25, but have not heard back again to date. Very frustrating!

Update2 as of Dec 4:

Heard back from Arcido just a couple of hours from my update above. Refunds have been processed, and they have asked me to keep the packing cubes as a courtesy.

I am doing my best to make sure you get your order. I personally liased with the logistics company to check where your order was, they told me there have been significant delays but it is on the way.
No, you should not have to wait indefinitely. After a certain period of time has passed we would be able to make a claim if it's gone missing. I am continuing to get to the bottom of this issue .

Nothing happend for about 10 weeks…

Nothing happend for about 10 weeks after I placed my order. Only with Paypal reclaiming my money suddenly the backpack arrived.
Customer service was contacted in between about a dozen times but to no avail.
Other than implied in the answer by arcido I did not get any money back via paypal but cancelled my claim when the backpack arrived.
But it shows once more how arcido works.
I would strongly advise not to buy from this shop.

Thanks for the feedback - we did eventually get the backpack to you. We did communicate with you, unfortunately there was a delivery issue because DPD mislaid your package. The warehouse we use for logistics has been affected by the pandemic; with fewer staff working and an increased volume of orders it has been harder to get concrete information from them.
We hope you like the backpack. It arrived not due to your claim via Paypal : the package was already on its way to you, but was significantly delayed. Again, I'm sorry you had to wait so long for it to arrive, but unfortunately this was an issue with the delivery service. I am happy to offer you a partial refund for the inconvenience.

Unpleasant experience

Bought a Saxon, payed my money and got a shipping notice, but order never arrived.
Customer Service isn't responding to my mails.

High quality bags and high quality service

I spent a number of hours researching which bag to buy and ultimately landed on Arcido’s collection. I’ve used both the Faroe and Oxna weekly for work travel and they’ve been a breeze to use.

Customer service has also been excellent. A small issue with my very first bag was fixed with a matter of days.

Great product, brilliant customer service

I bought the wash bag, a very nice no-faff product with completely basic organisation design that feels refreshingly simple rather than lacking. It’s definitely the quality of the materials that pulls this all together, I like the way it feels in my hands and it looks smart.

Definitely need to mention the customer service I got from Arcido, though, cos I screwed up and put my old postcode on my address which meant my wash bag got returned to sender. I emailed them asking what I needed to do and the guy I dealt with just asked me for the correct postcode and reshipped it, didn’t even hesitate and was also very nice. I am still impressed with this generosity days later, I couldn’t have expected them to pay for my mistake no questions asked. And then they checked in with me to see that I’d received it ok - I couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience on their part really.

Great customer service

Great customer service, I haven't got to try out the bag just yet but it looks awesome and durable. Great organisation and arrived extremely quickly. The staff i contacted were extremely helpful in regards to shipping, tracking etc. Highly recommend, awesome company.

Outstanding Customer Service

I haven't had a chance to travel with the Akra and it's packing cubes yet, but on first impression, everything seems extremely high quality.

I'm really here to review their customer service, which has been impeccable. From helping me choose the right bag to me, to being extremely responsive when USPS lost my bag in the mail, they were there for me the whole way. When my original bag got lost I let them know that I had a trip coming up in a little more than a week and they did what they needed to to get me a replacement bag in time. Couldn't recommend more!

Oxna Bundle

Had a six days private and three days business trip with it so far. Great product with high quality materials and good features. There is a lot of space for your clothes and your tech. I love the side quick access compartment for chargers etc.

My husband already has bought one of…

Lightweighted (small) backpack, great to travel with

My husband already has bought one of the backpacks a few years earlier and is really excited about it. He uses it normally for business trips and can really take all the stuff with him. Good quality and fabrics, easy to handle... now he got the new backpack Aro for x-mas. This one is the smaller version and a really good one to take on holidays for trips etc. since it is really lightweighted and when it ist folded it is really small. We will test it on vacation in march but it seems as good to be as the other one.

Another point to mention is the great service of arcido. There were a few problems with the delivery but the service was really great: helpful, friendly and a really quick reaction, I was really delighted about this. Would totally recommend buying a product there! Thanks!

Simplicity and functionality at its finest

I bought the Faroe a couple of years ago as I was done with lugging my cabin luggage around for weekend breaks. Two years later and I've used it pretty much every week travelling across the UK for work - the quality of the bag such that it stills looks almost brand new. Nothing has put a foot wrong. Its comfortably had room for me for 7 days away on a regular basis, and it's plenty big enough for far longer if you're space-savvy (their packing cubes help with this) - it was my only bag for 16 days away in California.

I bought the Saxon last week in an effort to go more minimalist for shorter trips away for work - again customer service excellent and responsive when there was a slight issue with the delivery.

All in all, if you're looking at buying one of the Arcido bags, just get it.

The product is the best you can buy

The product is the best you can buy. it. is made from good material and the storage bags create a very good way to organize.
I ordered the wrong bag to start with. one email with a response in less than 12 hours fixed the wrong order, and then i have received
several follow up emails making sure i received the bags and was satisfied. i give them 5 stares for trust, and efficiency.

Great Travelbackpack

I love the Acra. It's big, light and good-looking. The well thought-out bags for laptop, cables and accessories work great. In the front part I can store my camera and accessories and a lot of other things.
I can highly recommend the Acra!

First rate product and service: Arcido Oxna

I have the Arcido Vaga and the Oxna which are great carry-ones. I have dragged the Oxna through the Middle East and it stands up very well. The straps are designed to make carrying relatively pleasant, the internal organization is superb, the laptop safely secured and protected and the service rapid (and I mean, super fast) and very helpful. This is a first rate product which comes with excellent service.
