What a brilliant concept!
It was all hands on deck when we got our kit, the kids literally took over and we able to follow the instructions with ease.
I loved that I was able to take a back seat while the kids took charge. It gave them a confidence boost knowing they were able to work independently while also saving me so much time and energy!
They had a brilliant time working together to make the stool and were SO proud of their creation at the end!
It's taken a special "reading" spot in our living room so we are planning to create a little reading corner with it now.

Really enjoyed making the stool with my 6 year old son, I love making things and it’s great to share the passion with him.

His attention span wouldn’t last the whole stool so we took it in section I like to think he had fun doing it :)

We had the most joyful experience making the stool! A four year old and an adult worked together to bring the stool to life with none of the classic IKEA build bickering and frustration!!!

The instructions were clear and the beautiful wood became a stool quite quickly which was really satisfying for my son to see. The stool itself is a thing of beauty and we LOVE having people over and proudly telling them the story of the stool they’re sitting on.

We loved making the tool box set with Joe. It was both informative and fun.

I recently had the most incredible experience hand building an Escabel stool from @arco_make with my seven-year-old daughter, and it was truly a memorable bonding moment filled with learning and joy.

As we embarked on this project together, I was initially unsure how my daughter would handle the intricacies of woodworking. However, her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn quickly dispelled any doubts I had. With guidance and patience, we dove into the process, each step fostering a sense of collaboration and teamwork.

From cutting the wood to assembling and sanding the pieces, every moment was a learning opportunity. My daughter's curiosity was infectious, as she asked questions, eagerly grasped new concepts, and fearlessly wielded tools under my careful supervision.

What amazed me most was her innate creativity and problem-solving skills. She approached challenges with a fresh perspective, offering unique ideas and solutions that I hadn't considered. It was a humbling reminder of the limitless potential and imagination of children.

As we neared the completion of the Escabel stool, a sense of pride and accomplishment washed over us. Together, we had transformed raw materials into a functional piece of furniture, imbued with our shared effort and love.

But more than just a finished product, this experience was about so much more. It was about spending quality time together, fostering a sense of confidence and empowerment in my daughter, and creating lasting memories that we will cherish for years to come.

Building the Escabel stool with my daughter from @arco_make wasn't just about woodworking; it was about building a stronger bond and nurturing a lifelong love for creativity and craftsmanship. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.
