I contacted this office to enquire about a property I was interested in renting. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude to me, telling me she didn't have time to speak to me. I explained I was urgently looking for somewhere to rent and one of the current properties they had advertised looked suitable. I won't be contacting this company again, and landlords who use this agency are losing good tenents, just a note of caution.

My wife has just come off the phone with this company and was VERY upset with the ignorant, uncaring attitude of the woman in the office. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

An utter disgrace to Estate Agents Nationwide.

Arden Lettings of New Marske is run by two people, neither of whom appear have any idea whatsoever of how to run an estate agents.
Upon entering the property fkr the first time, the entire house was in a state of complete disarray, with rubbish and dirt everywhere, and dare we say, actual fecal matter in the sink.
The boiler would not turn on and the two keys left for the pre pay meters were in fact the wrong keys.
The advertised fireplace on the wall, which was photographed in the advertisement was missing the front, and the gas line had been cut.
Soon after moving in, mould began to appear in several rooms, which affected our Baby greatly as she already suffered with breathing problems.
The bricks on the outside wall were blown, letting in a great deal of cold and damp.
The guttering needed repairing, also causing mould and damp.
A shed in the back garden, which had plumbing in for a washing machine and room for a dryer, had a damaged and uneven floor, which in turn lead to our washer breaking.
Despite each of these things being reported, nothing was ever done.
The mould even underwent the inspection of environmental health who made a report for Arden Lettings, yet again, nothing was ever done.

Our neighbors across the street had previously been tenants or Arden Lettings, and they (like us) had been forced to move as yet again, no repair work was being carried out. Alas, we know of another tenant of Arden Lettings who is also suffering at their hands as once again, no repairs are being carried out.

Arden Lettings are more than happy to take the money, but not so keen to perform the duties that an Estate Agent should perform by law.

They are a disgrace, and the sooner this abomination of an agents is closed down by trading standards, the better.
