These guys were great. The first time I have needed a service like this but it was really professional. I was impressed by the real-time updates and overall service. I just hope that I don’t need them with my next wife!

I was desperate to find my husband who had cheated and left me. The site says that they find 'missing people' and do 'surveillance' as well as a range of other services. I hired the survelaince as I had ONE lead. I found some of the receptionist to be helpful but I felt that the main investigator was rude and lacked empathy. She didn't take enough detail and did not explain the process of what I should expect from them from the start, although i've never done anything like this before. I trusted that the information I gave her was enough although I did say 'is this all you need?', I thought they had it under control. I was willing to pay for two services and after telling the main investigator I asked which service she'd reccomend and she reccomended surveillance so I went with that.

I gave two stars as they did visit the property where he was, the timing was good, the Wats App group that they set up felt professional and the images they sent were timely, clear and of high quality. However, I paid £540 for 5 hours surveillance work and for an INCOMPLETE job. They lost the target within 90 mimutes as they were i'll prepared to follow a moped in traffic.

If I was a PI, I would have put a tracker on the bike and taken it off once he parked. I would have had a detailed conversation about the job with my client during the initial conversation to establish every detail no matter how small. They asked for his registration number so knew it was a bike but they followed in a car. After loosing him they did stay in the area trying to find him and took pictures of shops, stations, landmarks to show they were still looking for him. This just wasted time on the clock and was like searching for a needle in a haystack. I paid for them to follow him not look for him (shaking head emoji).

Needless to say, my husband is still missing and I do not have another lead.

2.4.5 of their terms state: 'The Company makes no guarantee of desired results and will not accept
accountability for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.' They say because he overlook traffic it was beyond their control - so be warned!

3.4 states 'If for any reason The Company is unable to perform and/or deliver the services to the Client... a refund... in part (if partial services have been delivered) will be provided within 30 days after. They did not agree to issue a refund, would not reschedule as you pay for the booked out time and as I signed the terms and conditions which states that the job is not guaranteed, they were covered. They said I could pay for one extra hour but then asked for another £540 for 5 hours. Crazy!

When working with missing people I think the company should have some flexibility with timings as timings will not be accurate. I was told my husband would be at a certain place at a certain time and gave the company this info. This time changed slightly so I updated them and they were not happy about that. It is not as if I could tell my husband to make sure he is on time (he is missing)! I found the whole process so stressful! Especially during a time like this.

I've decided to hire family to help me for free as I think we'd do a better job. I'm very dissapointed as the positive reviews made me fork out half a grand for nothing.

I would highly recommend 'Are They Safe'. I had met a guy on a dating site, of which after a few weeks turned out to be a complete fake.
After I called things off, I started receiving messages on FB from men I didn't know. I contacted Laura and her team, and they instantly looked into this for me and within only a couple of hours, they got back to me. It turns out that the guy I was dating had set up several fake accounts to try and get through to me.
These guys are very responsive, very thorough, and make you feel at ease.
If in doubt, call these guys. They're awesome. There are so many fake, dishonest people out there.

Such an amazing service very friendly staff

Laura is lovely and very supportive. Having been through her own harrowing experience of domestic abuse I feel she can really relate to her clients. I wish I had looked into my ex's past more and not believed the enormous load of crap he fed to me; however I'm glad a service like this exists and can help me now. My advice to others is to go with your gut instinct - if something does not feel right, then get rid of them. If you're an empathetic person who wants to give someone a chance then hedge your bets by getting Are They Safe to check them out - it may just be the best money you'll ever spend.
