A real pain to install, but the difference it’s made is huge, no longer obnoxious and still plenty loud. Added torque is also a plus from additional back pressure. Just make sure the new map has quiet baffles selected on FP3.

Absolute pain to squeeze into exhaust. Quick tip, used washing up liquid mixed with a little water, spread a little inside exhaust and over the plastic rapping to help you insert the baffle.

My Kawasaki VN900 Classic had competition baffles when I bought it, and after a few weeks of laughter the excessive noise became too much for my ageing ears. My ride now sounds precisely in tune with how it looks, which is dark, low and sooooo comfortable, thanks to a Mustang seat and some remarkable riser/bar tailoring by Celtic Customs. As for ARH...the best price in the UK, fast delivery; top of the class! Simple.
