inflexible and unwilling to help their clients

I have had an account with Arizona Statutory Agent for a little over one year. The annual fee covers delivering 3 documents to your business.
Yesterday, three books were mistakenly sent to their office. I left a message at 8am that I would drive and come pick up the 3 books later that day. I called again in the afternoon since they did not get back to me.
They refused to let me pick up my materials. Instead, they insisted that they would only send them to me for a total of over $50. Despite the fact that I had credits to cover them sending three documents to me. This is only for digital copy sends, so that is why I offered to come pick up my materials.
Interestingly, this morning I got a call from Angel who asked if the issue had been taken care of. Apparently they did not know about the previous conversation with their colleague. So I called again to explain that it had not been solved and that I just wanted to come pick up my materials. They repeated that they were unwilling to let me spend 10 seconds of their time to hand me my property sent to their address.
Clearly this organization is inflexible and unwilling to help their clients. Stay far away!

Hi Lara,

You're absolutely right. We should have handled that better. Our office is a secure facility that’s closed to the public because we handle sensitive mail and legal documents. But we should have worked with you to find a better solution. Our team is reaching out to you directly to try and make things right. We're also revising our employee training to make sure we never let something like this get in the way of our commitment to customer service. Thanks for your honest feedback.
