Avoid ordering online - goods never received, no refund

Unless you like losing hundreds of pounds do not order online from ARKET. I placed an online order with them for one item, a rug. A delivery arrived after many delays, the box had been opened and the rug was missing! Customer service were notified immediately by phone call and email. However, despite being on the call for 42 mins, they did not send the promised follow up email, and did not provide a refund - they actually did nothing.

They did nothing when made aware that their customer’s order was stolen mid-transit while in the care of their courier (Evri). They’re ok with their customers not receiving their purchases ever and won’t give them their money back…you might as well just set fire to your money than order online from ARKET.

Terrible customer service - takes a really long time to deliver and then they say that they can't cancel the order because it's "being processed". Beneath the shiny veneer is an absolutely terrible company.

Placed an order, which I’ve never received! Am still waiting for my refund and have been charged a delivery fee for the order I didn't actually get! They don’t reply to emails.

Bad quality and poor customer service.

Bad quality and poor customer service.
I bought the 72 hour duffel bag for weekend trips. The second time I used it, the seam has torn where the backpack strap attaches making the straps unusable. The bag’s RRP is £159.
I contacted customer service and they won’t offer a refund as it is outside the return window. For a bag that expensive I’d expect more than one trip out of it.
The website also doesn’t allow reviews after 2 months of purchase so there is no way of warning other customers of the poor quality.

Unfortunately there is not a minus. Seriously the worst service I have ever encountered. I bought a pair of cords at the regent street store in London whilst visiting from Scotland. They are faulty and two large faded spots on the thigh after two wears. They will not help me return and insist I take a 450 mile trip to London to bring in person .??? I have given proof of purchase and photos of the fading and get relentless Ai generated responses . Shocking

Sorry, but...

I *never*complain via trust pilot, I've only used this account for positive reviews previously, but do need to echo what others have said in that the delivery timescales to UK addresses are the worst I have ever experienced. it firstly take them around a week to ship the item, then a few days for Evri to collect, the a few more days for delivery - this time the Evri delivery claimed they couldn't deliver to my home, which was rubbish, I was sat near my front door working all morning with no background noise. The clothes are nice, but the size charts are woefully off the mark - how is someone supposed to know the sizing of oversized garments exactly? It just creates wasted orders and bad Co2 footprint from deliveries, companies should be made to give exact measurements for clothes at this price point.

Delivery takes 2 weeks. Outsourced support to Philippines NO UK presence only shops.
No apology just await the delivery. HATE Arket. They were probably an okay company before H &M got their hands on them!

Slow delivery and inconsistent sizing

I have been a fan of Arket for a while. In fact, whenever I need new clothes I default to looking at Arket first, so much of my wardrobe is their products. The clothes always seem well made and I like their style.
However, recent experiences have unfortunately meant that I’m likely to do my shopping elsewhere moving forward.
Firstly, their shipping is ridiculously slow; 5-6 working days is ludicrous in 2024 when you can get next day delivery from most online stores. This slow delivery time is a recent development, and they no longer offer the option of express shipping either. Waiting almost 2 weeks for something to arrive is no longer acceptable. My suspicion is that the clothes are now coming directly from the factories in China. I’m not sure if this is a cost-cutting measure on Arket’s part.
The second issue I have now encountered multiple times is inconsistent sizing. As mentioned, I am a fan of Arket’s products and sometimes that means I want to order more of the same product in a different colour. Despite ordering the same product in the same size just in a different colour, on several occasions the fit has not been the same and I have had to send them back. I have received an Arket parcel today with 3 items, all of which were different colours of products I already own, and NONE of them fit me. I am sending all three back. It is worth noting that I purchased the first colours within the last month, so I have not gained a lot of weight between ordering the first and second colour variants. After waiting a week and a half to receive the items, this is an incredibly frustrating experience. It feels as though you need to order two sizes of every product, knowing that you’ll have to return 50%, just to give yourself a better chance of getting a good fit.
Luckily, the returns process is very simple.
Overall, I like the clothes, but the slow delivery and inconsistent sizing has become too much of an inconvenient hurdle for me to overcome each time I shop with them, so I am likely to shop elsewhere moving forward.

I got an email confirming my refund

I got an email confirming my refund, but still after 3 weeks and it still hasen't arrived yet and customerservice is of no help, just referring to prosessingtime. Can it really be true that they should be allowed to keep the money for that long after the have actually prosessed the return....

I am not a fan.

Very late delivery

I ordered trousers to take to my daughter in America in good time before we left. Evri kept contacting me to say they were unable to deliver (even though it was to my local PO). In the end they arrived 19 days after the order. I have contacted Arket customer service department twice by email to complain but have had no response.

I have ordered from Arket and returned…

I have ordered from Arket and returned also a lot to Arket. There is maybe 3-4 times that they havent registered returned items correctly, and has missed one item that hasn’t refunded although I have retuned the products I have declared. The return department screw up and they blaim the customer, what on earth?! Never ever order from their webshop again, very bad experience after the last order! Not recommend Arket webshop to anyone, because they have issues to deal the returns, are not accurate!

Slow delivery and unhelpful customer service

Exactly the same experience as the review below me. I ordered two jumpers a week ago and they are yet to leave the warehouse. I live in central London and have never had an issue like this before. These were bought to go on a holiday next week and I don't think I'll receive these before I go even though I was told 5-6 days for delivery. Customer service isn't helpful at all.

I wish i read the reviews below before purchasing. It's now been a week and the order has not even left the warehouse. The customer service is very poor, not helpful at all, just repeating automated messages again and again. I was asked to wait another 5 days before contacting them again. In what world does it take 2 weeks to deliver a jumper to Central London????

Terrible customer service. Delivery is so slow and the customer service representative I spoke to was hopeless. She couldn’t care less and just read her automated responses out. Used to really like Arket, probably won’t bother with them again.

The worst online shopping experience

I placed an order from Arket with the delivery time of 8-9 working days, but hopeful that it would be sooner because 8-9 working days seems like a very long time to wait these days.

The order wasn't sent out of the warehouse until 9 days after I placed the order.

18 days after placing the order and the item still not being delivered, and after various calls chasing the order with Evri and with Arket, and after being fobbed off that I had to wait X amount of days, and then another X amount of days, Arket finally agreed to manually process a refund.

10 days after that, I am still waiting for this refund, so again called Arket, only to be told I now had to contact Klarna (who I don't have an account with but that is who Arket uses). Klarna tell me they will now need to raise a dispute with Arket over the refund, so I don't know how long I will need to wait to get my money back for an item that was never even delivered to me in the first place.

From beginning to end it has been a terrible customer experience. I will not be purchasing from Arket online again.

This is the worst quality ever

This is the worst quality ever! Bought 4 mid weight tees that all disintegrated after two washes. All full of big holes. In addition the customer support is the most time consuming process I’ve had in years. 2 pair of jeans for my kid also looked like it had been used for years after only some weeks and two washes. Color wearing off faster than Sonic the hedgehog can run. Arket used to be good quality at reasonable prices. But those days are definitely over. They also need to improve their customer support to keep up with Zalando and the likes.
