As an Aussie customer, I'm relieved I didn't experience the same issues as some US customers. I've been in touch with Emma about my sizing concerns, and while she's been brilliant in assisting me, I still have doubts about the design and coverage. Even with what seems to be the correct size, I'm worried I'll be exposed the moment I hit the Gold Coast beaches!
I splurged after a breakup and purchased an expensive bathing suit from Ark. While the quality is nice, it was WAY TOO SMALL. When I inquired about a return I was told that there is a 20%restocking fee and I have to pay to pay to ship it back to Australia. I should have done more research before purchasing but after the breakup I was more focused on feeling sexy again. The customer service rep was kind but did nothing to cut the fees. I either loose out on a lot of money or jump through the hoops of trying to get another one. I am worried that the next one that I order still isn't going to fit well and this bill is going to continue to rack up.
Can confidently say that Ark has invested in their customer service team. Had an issue with an order and it was resolved within a half hour. Gents, if you're looking for a smoking hot gift for the wife or girlfriend, you can't go wrong here.
US customer here- I’ve ordered from Ark several times and their quality and their suits are truly amazing. My only complaint is usually when ordering online it’s hard to know exactly which size you are without having to order certain sizes or styles- especially because their sizing runs small. The only way to get another style or size is to return your product but it takes severalllll weeks to get the exchanged item. I get they don’t want to have to eat the cost and deal with returns as it can get costly. But that part is super inconvenient when shopping with them. Otherwise if you return your item, they only offer a partial refund plus a fee. But if you go on their site and really look at their size guides, they do a really good job of describing each piece to help you find the best item. Like I said above, it’s just a bit inconvenient.
I had a terrible experience with Ark Swimwear. The customer support is absolutely horrible — they don’t make any effort to help when there’s an issue. The quality of the swimsuits is not even close to being worth the high price. If you have anything over an A-cup, you’ll hate the thin straps — one wave and you’ll be flashing the entire beach.
They also love to say they “mention” their policies on the site, but it’s definitely not obvious. Be aware that they don’t pay for returns, and the return shipping costs more than the bathing suit itself — so if you get a poor-quality product, it’s basically not even worth trying to send it back.
Honestly, you could find better quality swimwear for $4 on Amazon. I highly recommend ordering from Bydee instead — their quality is amazing, their customer support is actually helpful, and you won’t feel scammed.
Love love love! I was so excited to try this company. I got my first bikini from here last week and as soon as I put the bralette top on, the back part broke. I blame my broad shoulders. I hesitated about emailing for an exchange thinking it would be a lengthy process and since it was my fault; I didn’t think the company would be able to do anything about it. That was not the case! Emma was extremely fast at responding to my email giving me a credit for a new top. I didn’t have to go thru the whole return process bc the bikini broke and my new top is already on the way. I will be a returning customer not only bc the swimsuit is beautiful and sexy, but because of the teams approach to make sure I was happy! Outstanding customer service! I can’t wait to wear this bikini on my solo trip to Hawaii and feel beautiful in it.

I needed to exchange because of sizing. The exchange process would have been too long to wait since my vacation was coming up soon and the shipping time is 7 days. I reached out to Ark and they made it very easy for me to order a new suit and have it in time for my vaca. Emma was very responsive and kind. I do think that the return/exchange process should be a little more automated and easier but the company is clearly still growing and trying to make adjustments for their US customers. I'd order from them again because overall when I had an issue they were very responsive and made it easy for me.
My browser had incorrectly merged two of my stored addresses when completing the delivery information. I didn’t realise until I received my order confirmation email. I reached out to the team and Emma got back to me within a couple of hours and had updated the address before the package was posted. Absolute lifesaver!

I would advise U.S.-based customers to be cautious before ordering from Ark Swimwear. While the products may appear appealing online, the return process can be extremely costly. I was surprised to learn that return shipping fees can range from $120 to $200 USD, which in many cases exceeds the cost of the swimsuit itself. Despite the company's claims of "free worldwide express shipping," this does not apply to returns.
Regarding sizing, I followed the brand’s recommended size guide and ordered a Medium. I am 5'2", 105 lbs., with a low BMI, and the fit was far too small—I would have needed a Large or possibly even an Extra Large. In my experience, the sizing does not reflect standard U.S. sizing nor the measurements listed on their website.
Before purchasing, I strongly encourage potential buyers to read reviews from independent sources outside of the Ark Swimwear website to get a more accurate understanding of the product and service. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.

I ordered a bikini for our holidays. It missed the date that we needed it because it took so long to arrive and when I opened it, it was a totally different colour to that advertised.
I put it back in the packaging unused with all tags etc as it was unsuitable, but even in perfect condition like this was the return policy makes it almost impossible to get your money back. There is a very specific return request, then a 20% deduction from the balance plus another random fee if you want a cash refund rather than store credit and you also have to pay to get it back to them. I’ve no idea what any of these charges are for but I’ve never seen them on other returns I’ve made.
I enquired about exchange because so much money was being taken from the original order and now I’ve been told that even though I didn’t confirm that I wanted it I now can ONLY have credit because they have put it through and can’t change it. This cannot be true so I asked for an escalation to clarify the situation. Instead I was passed to somebody who had a similar title/level and the same response was given.
There are so many lovely bikinis available that there is no need to go through a hideous process like this one. It feels like it has been set up purely to keep your money whether you like your item or not

This is the 4th swimsuit I've ordered from Ark. The suits fit and hugs my body perfectly! I get the most comments when I'm wearing my Ark suits! I'm slowly changing all of my suits over to this brand because I love them so much. I was out of town and wanted to order a suit before I got back in town but I couldn't remember what size I ordered. I emailed customer service and they literally got back to me within hours. I love my suits and this company! If I could upload pictures I would. They literally look as good as the website does!

Where do I begin. Ark Swimwear has scammed me, and multiple others I have found online had the same issue including ones on this site. Basically I got the bathers, tried them on, the size chart was totally wrong and they were horrific on my body and didn’t cover anything and diaper bottoms with excess fabric and gathering so I looked like a giant baby. Guys - I wouldn’t even wear these in-front of my partner, out of embarrassment. I’m size S I ordered a M & I’m 60kgs C Cup. Goes without saying I am not a large. Everything about this business is a lie, This business is built on dishonesty. From false advertising with photoshopped product images, misleading size charts, and fake reviews with no option for genuine customer feedback. On top of that, they make baseless accusations of product damage, like claiming items were stained with fake tan or makeup. Multiple others have made this claim in their reviews being denied a store credit because of “damage” I purchased a $140 bikini and took extreme care to keep it in perfect condition. When I returned it promptly, expecting a refund, I was told they don’t offer refund, despite being a completely online store. Had I realized this suspicious policy beforehand, I never would have shopped here. Instead, I was only offered store credit, reduced by $40. After nearly a month of them holding onto the items I paid for. plus overcharging me for shipping return, I finally got them back, completely UNMARKED. The supposed “damage” in their photos? Shadows. I have video proof in multiple lighting conditions showing the same effect, which disappears when the lighting is adjusted. At this point, I don’t even care about the money. I don’t want the bikinis, and I certainly don’t want anything to do with these guys and the repulsive Emma, but they need to be called out. They deliberately withheld my items for nearly a month, only returning them after I repeatedly followed up. Why? Because I upset them, so they decided to play games and lie yet again, even blaming me for delays in my own order. The customer service specialist Emma, was exactly what I con artist is and has to be. Horrible, rude, dishonest, threatening and abusive. Never dealt with anything like this in my life, I’m not even one to send back a return but they were god awful diaper bottoms and a top that covers half a nipple.. this is one of the worst ordeals I’ve ever had with any business and there’s many others who feel the same. Every honest and bad review is then flooded with fake AI reviews. They are setting people up with these “returned damage goods” so you’re forced to spend another $55 to purchase another set of bikinis. Only to risk the same thing happening, which it will because of the false size guide and 0 quality control. I have more photos and videos I’d be happy to show anyone as well showing how the bathers in lighting reflect shadows and these are the photos they sent me saying it was “undeniable Black marks” it was IMPOSSIBLE how cautious I had been. I truely believed I had done these markings only to have them returned immaculate, just like I sent. Also countless videos of me in these awful revolting bikinis. The return process is also awful if you're in Europe—I ended up spending €70 just to send it back Because i have to cover the return myself. On top of that, their policy deducts 20% of the price per item. Just be aware :)
I get that it’s their policy, but the sizing was on another level. For reference, I’m 158 cm and 46 kg, and an XS didn’t fit me. Just a heads-up!
