I was looking for an alternative seater die to my L.E. Wilson hand seater when I do not feel enclined to fiddle around with an arbor press. I have Redding dies and their competition bullet seaters are excellent, no doubt, but I decided to give the Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater Die a try and boy, I don't regret it. The Forster works at least as well as the Redding and when you are loading long VLD bullets, you don't need to change the seater stem for a special VLD compatible stem like on the Redding and Wilson dies. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it has also a substantially more "friendly" price than the Redding.
