Paid for 2 cases of mres that never came. They are telling me I should call my landlord and the police. Sent me a picture of boxes outside someone's door who lives on the first floor, I live on the 3rd. They wont replace it, its been a week. Said FedEx is investigating. So I had to go to my bank and put in a dispute. Paid 120.00 for absolutely nothing
We ordered three wool blankets
We ordered three wool blankets. When we opened the packaging, there was a horrible chemical smell with each...and just holding them left a sticky chemical residue on your hands. Since they are not washable (per tag) we "off-gassed" them outside on our covered porch. The next morning, the chemical smell was still there, but they were wet. They picked up moisture from the air - wool does not turn wet from humidity. They will take them back IF I enclose them as they came (for resale purposes) and pay for shipping and insurance. We will never purchase from the again.
Best products, prices, and customer service
Best products, prices, and customer service! Military surplus always built extremely well! I bought the FILBE Rucksack, Riflemans load out bundle with assault pack, multiple hydration and molle assault pouches, and the large and medium seal bags, couldn't be happier! Responded to all my questions patiently though multiple emails and even called me about product details! All normally within an hour or two! If I could rate them higher I would! Military surplus is built to last and would be so much more in a traditional store. Thank you all for all your time, help, products and prices! Will buy again soon!

Sold me an old musty/dirty tent with numerous issues and repairs needed. They claim it was as described, which I suppose with a stretch of imagination and the wording they used could be considered accurate. I would avoid buying anything used from them.
Shipped me mold infested gear
Shipped me mold infested gear, refuses a refund unless I handle it to ship it back. In fact they suggested I simply toss the mold infested gear into my washing machine, that is a huge safety redflag. Charge back issued with my bank as I wont be handling hazardous gear over such a small amount. Shout out to their terrible customer service; no empathy, no care, just "its not mold" until I offered to provide proof it was mold, then they just said to ship it all back. Once again, a terrible experience, low QC, and a horrible customer service team.

Advertised as MRE's containing entree and sides, making it sound like a whole MRE. Ended up being seperate entrees and sides FROM an MRE. I paid as much for an entree as i would normally pay for a whole MRE. False advertising. Then refuse to give refund even though site specifically says refunds are available.
The best surplus outlet for what you're trying to find
The products are the cheapest for their market of any site I've seen. Shipping was faster than I expected and I found an item easy that I've been looking for for a long time. Definitely gonna keep buying
The Worst Customer Service and Customer Support I’ve Ever dealt with very unprofessional
Purchased an item from the store not knowing they use Shop to third party the products but my purchase was sent to the wrong address and when it was returned to the sender I never got any reply or customer service response about my refund and yesterday I emailed them again to inquire about my money they miraculously said that they sent me a response saying 72hrs for my bank to do things on their end. Quote! Crappy business using a crappy financial institution who’s using a crappy third party vendor all you affiliated with ArmyNavyGear should be ashamed of yourselves
Easy to do business with
Easy to do business with. Quick to ship. Great selection and prices
scam
I was looking at Longjohns, and to get shipping, I had to put information on the site and then delete it. Later, I got an Email saying thanks for the order. They made an account for me and charged me. Their returns do not pay for shipping and charge more than the item value, they sent the wrong size as well.
Unfortunate experience in my order
I recently placed an order with Army Navy Outdoors, but FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. This was proven by the delivery photo provided by FedEx, which shows a front door completely different from mine. I immediately contacted Army Navy Outdoors both in writing and by phone to resolve the issue and request a refund.
Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service was extremely frustrating. Vicky, the customer service supervisor, was very rude and unprofessional during our call. Despite more than 7 days having passed since FedEx failed to recover the package, she refused to process the refund and treated me as if it were my fault. Now, after receiving an email stating that an investigation has been opened, I’m told they cannot issue a refund until it’s concluded.
What responsibility do I have in this issue between the seller and the carrier? I don’t believe Army Navy Outdoors has a policy that allows such a lack of accountability toward their customers. It’s unacceptable for a supervisor to treat customers so aggressively and disrespectfully, especially when the rest of the team has been polite and professional.
I hope someone from Army Navy Outdoors with common sense and respect will contact me to resolve this issue sensibly and courteously. I have recordings of the calls that demonstrate my friendly tone and clear questions, as well as the aggressive and evasive responses I received.
In the meantime, I warn other buyers to be cautious, as they could go through the same ordeal if FedEx or the carrier chosen by Army Navy Outdoors fails to deliver correctly. I have another purchase pending, but I will only proceed if this issue is resolved favorably and respectfully.
WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN
Honestly wish I’d read here before buying. Super slow shipping rude customer support (Vicky) and once they missed my shipping window and asked for a refund they marked it shipped and printed a label. Still not shipped. So after 3 weeks, no boots, missed my date had to spend more money and then she continues to treat me like she’s been helpful.

To start with they advertise as a Australian based company .But the send products fron New Zealand. I ordered swiss army boots size 8.5 they send the wrong size and now i have to pay to send these boots back . that do not fit to exchange for the right size if in deed they have my size to pay again to get the correct order . why didnt they send a email stating thry did not have my size before sending from new zealsnd to Australia the wrong order.
BUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! ON THEIR WEBSITE THEY'RE ALL FAKE REVIEWS STUFF DOES NOT WORK
Hi everybody, I am a Marine and I ordered three cases of MREs from army Navy outdoors.com. I proceeded to test one of them the charcoal never ignited with the water. Then I tested another then another then another and after that I gave up. This is a scam if you look on their website it's all five star reviews but if you dig deeper you will find everybody is dissatisfied. I reached out to customer service they wanted video and pictures I sent it to him real time. Then they sent me another AI response saying they couldn't open it up because it's security protocols and they wanted me to send screenshots it is a scam I repeat a scam it cost me $100 to find out to never do business with them again. Buy beware do not ever buy from this site. God bless and semper fidelis.
I will give them ONE VERY RUSTY STAR
I will give them ONE VERY RUSTY STAR. Vicki and her poor supervision level decisions and attitude lost them a few stars all by herself.
Vicky is rude and I will add, is a great "gate keeper" (not worthy of any stars). Getting no where with her, I asked to speak with her supervisor or the owner of the company she said the owner does not take calls like this and she was the supervisor.
She insulted my intelligence by saying "our customers are prior military and they know about our products", wow, yes she did. As if to say civilians are not qualified to understand their products. I told her I was prior military and I took that as an insult. I told her because of the company's poor descriptions, I expected a full refund. I told her I will be writing reviews that anything less than a full refund isn't worth their bad reviews. She insisted that I would not be getting a full refund.
They have poorly written descriptions and advertisements. The item I bought was wearable and I received a Medium size when I expected a large. No size offering was presented at checkout. I pointed out both concerns mentioned above to Vicki, with no appreciation or indication that she would have that addressed or corrected she stuck to her insults.
The item I bought was supposed to include another item but it did not. The description even said "this and that" implying 2 items. No, I don't want to tell you what I bought on this platform.
So much for their so called "Happy Refund", sounds more like a not so happy ending G.I. , "wink".
I received an incorrect item
I received an incorrect item. When I contacted Vicky in customer service she was rude and not particularly helpful. I had to send multiple follow up emails. On a follow up call, when I asked to speak to her supervisor she said she was the supervisor and would not put me in contact the owner. She would not acknowledge that the wrong item had been sent despite me providing her with photographic evidence of the item I received versus the original description and picture of the item as listed on the website. They eventually refunded me for the item but shorted $10+ that I had paid for shipping and handling. This is not the level of service or respect that I would expect from the military/veteran community. This is a shame, because they have some cool stuff at reasonable prices on their website, but this sort of hassle isn't worth for future purchases.
Ice cold MRE
After ordering two cases of MRE’s and finding that not one of the meal heating bags worked, I contacted army navy outdoors. I was promptly informed of the contents of the meal pack and told they would in no way guarantee that they would work. So if in an emergency you want to try to find comfort in the meals you have, order elsewhere.
BUYERS BEWARE!!
I bought a USN navy pea coat for my retired, Navy vet, husband. When the coat arrived the arms were too long so I tacked up the left and when I started on the right I realized it was a good inch shorter. Upon full inspection of the coat I saw the entire lining had faulty quilting which was coming apart in numerous places. Also some of the button holes were not oversewn. And, upon handling the coat just tacking up the sleeve, the wool started to pill. When I called and emailed customer service it was a nightmare! I accept I can't return the item because I tacked up the cuff, but I have issue with the fact that they advertise they inspect every item before it goes out. I also asked to talk to the owner (there's only 13 employees) because I was getting nothing but rudeness from the customer service supervisor Vicky. No dice. I wanted them to notify the manufacturer or whomever they purchased these coats from, and look into this defect. Again, no cooperation, they don't feel it's necessary. They actually told me, "what do you expect, its not like its a $300-400 coat" (it was $118) and told me I would have had to return the coat in an unaltered condition so THEY COULD RESELL IT! They would have pawned this defective coat off on someone else! I have reported them to the BBB. If you read the other reviews, take note the 5 star review from Vicky Cloud is actually the supervisor of customer service that was so difficult and rude. This company has also disabled Google reviews which says A LOT!
Poor customer service and poor quality MREs
Listed as past inspection date the case of mres seemed like a good deal, sadly though they were all spoiled on arrival and not able to be eaten due to the health risks posed(spoiled mains with a rancid smell and fruit smoothies that looked like valve grease). I contacted support and right away was basically shrugged off by vicky cloud (the supervisor) and told "they still have protein in them". She was rude and just not very helpful at all like i was causing her pain by making her do her job or something. Was also told we have that listed on the website which i did read before hand and no where does it say spoiled. After a week or so of back and forth upper managment decided to refund the order if i sent in a picture of all of the mres destroyed. Ok so i sent a video and photo of them destroyed as requested and then im told oh theres only 9 not 12 so we will refund 75% of the cost. Well i told them previously id opened 3 to check and they were spoiled on the day of the package arriving but i guess she forgot or couldnt go back in our emails to read. Overall the lady who assisted me was rude and hard to work with on the most basic of issues. I would advise anyone who doesnt have time to mess with customer service go else where for your mres. The gloves i ordered are cool but getting sold spoiled mres is just not the way to go so one star.
