Very helpful support
Very helpful support - Especially Barbara. great product, but if you're in the US get the size right first time bc sending an item back is more expensive than the item.

Disgusting hiding of charges. Have been charged an extra £120 on import costs by Fedex. They try to hide this on their website and claim FREE shipping. Avoid at all costs.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Arte Antwerp since 2019/2020, after discovering the brand while traveling in France. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely destroyed my trust in the company.
In 2025, I purchased a blue suit (blazer and trousers) during one of their sales to wear to a wedding in South Africa. When it arrived, the blazer was too small. Disappointed but acting in good faith, I initiated a return.
The blazer cost about $105, and I paid an additional $54 out of pocket to ship it back internationally via USPS — more than half the value of the item. I followed every instruction, provided tracking, and communicated clearly with customer support.
USPS informed me the package would require retrieval from customs. I relayed this to Arte Antwerp. From that point on, I received inconsistent and contradictory information from multiple support representatives. No one took ownership of the issue.
The package was never delivered back to Arte Antwerp, nor was it returned to me as the sender. The last tracking update was December 7th. The package is now lost, and I am out the item, the original purchase cost, and the return shipping.
This has been one of the most discouraging customer service experiences I’ve had. I did everything correctly and in good faith, yet I am the only one absorbing the loss. It feels like customer relationships are secondary to protecting margins.
I cannot recommend purchasing from Arte Antwerp based on this experience.
I purchased a two-tone wool cardigan (Bordeaux/Cream) from ARTE’s Paris store while travelling. After carefully following both the care label and in-store advice (cold hand wash only), the cream panel became visibly stained due to severe colour bleeding.
I contacted ARTE customer service with photos, video evidence, and the receipt. While the initial response was polite, the only solution offered was to return the item to the original Paris store — despite me explaining multiple times that I live in London and this was not feasible.
No alternative options were offered (postal return, assessment, store credit, or escalation). Once I requested the case to be reviewed by a manager, communication stopped entirely.
I was disappointed not only by the product issue, but by the lack of accountability and flexibility in after-sales support. For a brand positioned as premium, I expected better customer care when a genuine quality issue occurs.
I ordered a body warmer from Arte Antwerp and, although the item itself is fine, the buying experience was very disappointing. After paying £155 and being shown “FREE SHIPPING” at checkout, I was unexpectedly billed £69.01 in FedEx import fees after the item arrived.
What frustrates me is the lack of transparency. The checkout clearly displays FREE SHIPPING, which naturally makes customers believe the price they see is the final price. The only mention of potential extra charges is hidden behind a tiny dropdown arrow next to the shipping option. Because the option already says “FREE,” there's no reason to click it, meaning the info about customs charges is essentially invisible during purchase.
I raised this with the company, but they were unwilling to acknowledge how unclear this is or offer any form of goodwill. Their stance was simply that the information is “accessible,” even though it is not actually visible during checkout.
Customers deserve transparency, especially when extra fees of nearly £70 are involved. If you’re in the UK, be aware that the true cost of your order may be much higher than the checkout suggests.
The quality doesn’t match the price tag. After washing the T-shirt once it has shrunk and developed stains that won’t come out. This hasn’t happened to any other item of clothing I own except this one. Disappointing and a waste of £55.
Top quality pieces and love the designs. It also comes with fast shipping so no complaints over here!
They are very nice shirts at first sight. Then you order such a shirt. I normally have size S and sometimes XS. To be sure, I only took XS. Once the shirt arrived, I tried it on immediately. The shirt turns out to be way too wide. The sleeves also look very strange. It seems to be more like a size XL / L in terms of width. Unfortunately, the tag of the shirt really does indicate XS, so that will be correct. The fit is very poor for a shirt of €65,-. Nothing is tailored, it is just a kind of square shirt. In short, a total mistake.
Ordered a shirt, and shop pay pushed through the wrong address - I only saw this once I checked out. Usually not a big error.
I contacted customer support to ask them to change the address. They said they couldn't and 'sorry for the inconvenience'. I told them I lived 200 miles from that old address, could they please contact the courier and let them know. 'No, sorry for the inconvenience.'
I asked to cancel the order (it was still processing). 'No, sorry for the inconvenience'.
£100 down the drain - I would avoid Arte.
Love the brand, the quality and design is unmatched. I wanted to put a review because of all the bad credit it seems to get, which is strange to hear because I order regularly from the brand and never experienced issues. Would definitely recommend!
Order never received. No shipment tracking. No answer from Arte Customer Services despite several emails and payment made. Do not order, they just steal your money.
Jacket arrived with 2 broken fastening poppers.
Customer service non existant after 4 emails over a 1 month period.
Finally made an international call to get through.
No free returns, no apology, only a discount code added to my account.
Ordered some socks, heel tore open after 1 normal day.
No customer service / no free returns.
Absolutely awful. Cheap rubbish garments parading as a quality luxury brand. Avoid at all costs.
Never Buy from here. I bought a velvet jacket from this website for 265 euros, and when it arrived to my adress it did not fit me properly, therefore I retured the package as they described it on their website and sent it back. 1 month ago today they received my return package (I can see that because I bought tracking through my carrier). And yet no money has entered my bank account, even though it has been a month. I have tried to reach out to them via email multiple times but they never respond..... WORST online experience i have ever had. STILL waiting to receive my 265 euros!
