Artisan delivered the kind of service that you would think you could only dream of!

First of all Artisan is worthy of praise for their level of communication. Rob kept in regular contact by phone keeping me updated about the expected commencement dates for the work, (I use the word 'dates' because the weather has been so abominable that delays were unavoidable). At the soonest opportunity the team: Aidan, Sam and Brad came and started the work. Aidan talked to me about the work that he, Sam and Brad were going to do each day one day at a time, he also spoke to me each evening after they had finished for the day about what would be happening the following day. They always arrived when expected.
They were totally committed to their work and doing a top quality job. They worked extremely hard all day, every day. The job was done from start to finish in 7 days.
My roof which has five extensions attached to the original one is a complex one and so there was a lot of work involved.
The complete roof was power washed. They removed all the loose mortar and repointed everything requiring it, fixed all flashing that was not sealing joins effectively, fitted dry ridge tiles to all ridges and dry verge tiles to every edge of all roof sections. Where there were broken slates they replaced each one. When they identified a roof section where the tiles were quite literally crumbling they talked through the problem with me and explained what extra work/ remedial work was necessary. They showed me the physical evidence of this issue which gave me the absolute confidence that the problem was legitimate and the work was essential. Aidan worked swiftly to obtain the extra materials needed for the roof replacement. He promptly ordered all the extra materials required and had them supplied and delivered to my address within and in less than 24 hours so there was no time wasted waiting around for deliveries. That is truly impressive! The crumbling roof was replaced and treatments were applied to all roof sections. All the facias, soffits and gutters were cleaned. The finished job is just fantastic and it looks really good too. The work has been completed and is top quality, brilliant standard.
Every day they cleaned up all around the areas they had worked in that day, waste was put in the skip immediately, the driveway was swept each evening after they had finished working around that area, they cleaned external doors and windows when they had become mucky from the work done that day, they also hose washed areas where general work related waste had scattered on the ground.
Aidan, Sam and Brad paid attention to every detail of their work. Every day they cleaned and tidied up. They always had an awareness of the garden and other items around them being very careful of all this as they worked. Their thought, respect and consideration was faultless and impressive as was their standard of work. Their communication was excellent and they were always very polite and really friendly. A very happy and cheerful team, with lots of smiles!

I highly recommend Artisan Coatings. They are honest, trustworthy, very hard working, excellent customer care and service, every area of their operations, their customers are very important and matter hugely to them, and that shows in all the staff and all they do and say.

I was initially very wary having just lost all my deposit to a rival company that had gone bust, but my fears were groundless. Weather delayed the start, but eventually I got a date and waited for the promised 2 man team to turn up.
The 2 man team turned out to be one man as someone had phoned in sick, so again I was concerned, but Aidan worked his socks off and completed the job well within the promised time. He did an excellent job of clearing all the resulting debris from around the house and the before and after pics show me that the work was worth doing.

I live in a very attractive cream rendered bungalow, but the roof was quite discoloured.
I was a bit wary when Ollie knocked on my door extolling the virtues of Artisan.
However, I was willing to get a quote and then wait to read more reviews of this newly founded company. The surveyor came round and it was not difficult to see that he was very genuine and straightforward. Anyway, I said that I’d wait and see if any other local properties had been treated by Artisan. My first impression when I saw a nearby house was that this property had simply had a new roof installed and it was only when I saw Artisan’s sign that I realised that their workmanship was as good as they claimed.
So I agreed to have the work done and to explain the complexity of the job, my bungalow has 14 roofs and over 20 ridges! That was quite a challenge and it probably took longer than expected. I was careful to check that the ridges were properly regrouted where necessary and that both the gutters and fascias were cleaned. I also enjoyed watching the rain beading off the tiles.
There was no mess left and now I have roofs that enhance the bungalow.
Friendly contractors and one of the directors popped around on a few occasions to check on the progress, which I felt was a nice touch.
Artisan are not cheap, but if you want quality workmanship, then it’s worth paying for.

Very good communication, workmanship & quality of my flat roof covering was excellent. Contractors managed to work round the terrible weather we had at the time. All in all a very satisfyed customer.

Refurbished roof tiles. Very pleased with all work done.
Now have a brand new looking roofs, in place of a heavily mossed back roof in particular The guys were very competent with the work they were doing and considerate of my garden and neighbour's properties. Cleared up everything at the end of each day. Turned up on time when scheduled to.

We had been meaning to get our roof cleaned for some time as moss was a problem, regularly blocking gutters. Artisan Coatings and Exteriors offered a solution to the problem and gave us a date for the work which they kept to. They were here over a week as the weather was not kind. Everyday they cleaned up before they left and the team of on-site workers were very professional. We were kept informed as each stage progressed both by office staff and people on site. We would highly recommend this company.

An excellent product sold by genuine people without any hard sell techniques used. The work was done very efficiently by professional people who were helpful and polite. Very satisfied with the results.

From the word go the whole process has been very smooth and efficient. Admittedly trying to write this review was frustrating but that has not detracted from the overall experience. The Service was excellent throughout. All the employees were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Justin and Tom completed an excellent job, keeping me informed as they commenced each stage. I am impressed and delighted with the completed roof. I appreciated the contact with Amy in the Office who was friendly and efficient and proved very helpful.

The whole team have been polite and helpful right from the initial leaflet drop. Despite the job not being as straightforward as we would have liked we were guided through the process and given a number of options to consider. The work was carried out as promptly as the weather would allow but the team worked through some wet and cold days! We are both pleased with the results and have already spoken to others nearby giving a positive review. We would recommend paperwork is sent out promptly when changes are needed for customer reassurance. Thank you to everyone involved for a great job well done.

Everyone we got to meet and speak to were friendly, helpful and it all felt very genuine. The customer service and work ethic was excellent. Leading up to and during the works being carried out there was plenty of communication to keep us informed of when and what was going to happen, any questions we had were answered, they also had plenty of questions for us to make sure we were all on the same page. The finish was outstanding, it completely transformed the look and finish to our house. There were plenty of follow up calls to ensure we were happy with the finish, along with quality assurance visits following works completion. All in all, it is great company, friendly and trusting people and a great job done.

Having watched our neighbours recently have their roof refurbished by Artisan Coatings and saw what a fantastic job they had done, we decided to have ours done too. From initial contact to final finish everyone was really helpful and professional. Excellent work by an excellent company and would highly recommend them.

I recently had my roof refurbished by Artisan Coatings and Exteriors. The job involved pressure washing the roof, applying a fungicide to stop moss reappearing and finally applying a protective coating. I couldn't recommend Artisan more highly and I wish that all companies I dealt with showed the same ability, professionalism and desire to do a first class job. This was displayed from the first sales person I met, Alex, who explained the benefits of the treatment and the procedure involved, right through all contacts, including Mark who did the work brilliantly, to the post sales care and attention I received from Amy to ensure I was completely satisfied with the job. I was particularly impressed by Artisan sending out a health and safety expert to assess the job before any work began, showing a complete regard for their workforce.

My roof now looks like new and neighbours have commented on how good it looks - all thanks to Artisan. Thank you.

This company replaced all my guttering.

Great customer service - I met/ spoke to approximately 6 members of staff from Artisan, from the director to the office staff. All were friendly, helpful, and couldn’t do enough for me. They wanted to make sure I was 100% happy. I even got a Christmas card!

The job looked amazing once finished. I had one very slight, minor issue and they made sure they put it right!

Excellent interpersonal skills and quality workmanship. It’s clear that the company mission is to do a great job with excellent customer service.

Our roof looks brand new, they made a fantastic job, had dry ridge tiles done as well. Wayne and all the other workers were brilliant, cleaned up afterwards would not have known they had been.

Highly recommend Artisan great company really knowledgeable, great communication would recommend to anyone looking to have home improvements done.

Job completed one day ahead of schedule and all sorted and tidied the same day. Helpful team of two. Next morning one minor problem was discovered but a telephone call made to the company and someone came out to sort it out within a very short space of time. No further problems. Would recommend and use again.
