Arzu Kara is an independent British womenswear and lifestyle brand founded by designer Arzu Kara. Built on the belief that true luxury is personal, thoughtful and enduring, the brand brings together bespoke tailoring, limited ready-to-wear, organic knitwear, accessories, homeware and interior design consulting. At the heart of Arzu Kara is an in-house atelier, where garments are designed, fitted, altered and finished with care. This allows us to offer a more personal service than many fashion brands, from bespoke commissions and made-to-measure pieces to thoughtful alterations on full-price garments where possible. We understand how clothes are constructed, how they should move, and how the smallest detail can change the way a woman feels. Our collections are produced in limited numbers, with an emphasis on natural materials, refined silhouettes and quiet luxury. Knitwear is made mostly using organic yarns and is crafted with the support of skilled women artisans in Türkiye, reflecting Arzu’s long-standing interest in women’s creative labour, textile knowledge and craftsmanship. Alongside the design practice, Arzu’s academic research explores overlooked women’s textile traditions and the stories held within fabric and society. This research sits naturally within the brand’s values: respect for craft, respect for women’s work, and a belief that beautiful things should be made with meaning.
