Repair man was efficient. Got the compressor working. We have to wait and see if it will lower the temperature. No point in him hanging around for hours. Will let you know.

I was impressed by the response to the team regarding a refund as the engineer was unable to find a fault with my machine

Engineer was brilliant, very friendly, thorough and explained what the issue was and how we can avoid it in the future.

Negative side was the cost, because we were unsure what the actual issue was we paid almost £200 for a repair that included any parts that might be needed which is a great idea but this could have been done for a simple call out charge, yet no offer or option to request any sort of refund, so it seems like a gamble on what option you choose

I wouldn't pay for a visit, the engineer literally walks in and says 'this cannot be repaired its the brand or model' without even looking at the applicance. You will pay £79 for that pleasure. Better to go for a no call out or lower call out charge. I think they just go round saying 'that canno tbe repaired' and making £79 for 5 minutes.

Beware, use this company at your peril.They take your money and do —nothing. It must be some kind of scam.
I paid £94.00 for a fixed price fridge repair subject to a £6.99 monthly care plan. They sent a local subcontractor after 1 week. He had been asked to quote them for the repair. After that nothing, no service engineer no communication no nothing.
They will not reply to your phone calls or emails or, at this time, refund any money.
Postscript:
I have now received a refund of £15 so they have charged me £79 expenses for exactly nothing.

Very impressive customer service - friendly and professional. Made every effort to resolve the issue in the most economical way and analysed the problem we had without costing us a call out based on their research and experience. Amazing communication at all times right up to the time of replacing an appliance and fitting it. We can certainly recommend ASG and will use them again when necessary. Thanks to all of you.

Called to repair my mum's oven in Wolverhampton and was offered a competitive price and a speedy date to fix it. Ade who came round was efficient, friendly and polite and went out of his way to do a fab job - calling me to inform me as to what he had fixed. He made me feel at ease and my mum was very happy with his work.

We paid a fixed price for a repair to a dishwasher. The engineer that turned up was polite and punctual and left saying he’d ordered the new part. I then didn’t hear anything for a week. After chasing it up I was informed the part was over their price cap and owed another £99; whilst I’m sure this is in their T&Cs it certainly wasn’t made clear when first booking. Then another week goes by without hearing anything. After chasing up it has now been repaired ok.
The engineer was fine but ASG’s communications and processes leave a lot to be desired.

Tried very hard to sort my problem fridge freezer out and all repaired now.

Great value, considering it covered the repair and all parts that needed replacing it saved me so much! Would recommend.

I was really in a pickle when my induction hob blew up and I couldn’t get a replacement the same size. ASG went the extra mile and even arranged for my quartz counter top to be re-cut, before supplying and installing a new appliance! Absolutely first class service and would definitely use them again!
