recent purchase of a Hyundai Kona

Hyundai Ashford - Worst Service Ever

Hyundai Ashford

The service received from Marshall Hyundai Ashford has been the worst I have ever experienced.

My Hyundai Tucson went into their dealership for a major service. The car was released back to me after the service with fuel leaking from the fuel filter onto the engine. I regularly have young grandchildren in my car and I would hate to think what could have happened if the leaking fuel had ignited.

Their service department has been appalling and beggars belief that they even refer to themselves as a ‘service’ department.

I was guaranteed a telephone call from the Service Manager today but that didn’t happen either.

I've never dealt with such an arrogant less caring totally unfocused shambles.

Hyundai have now lost a once loyal customer for good as a result of this serious safety issue and I would strongly caution anyone considering taking their car for service to Marshall Hyundai Ashford.

Kent libraries

I thought I had better warn the people of Ashford in Kent if you ever go to the library in Ashford to get help tracing your family tree do not get help from the ancestry volunteer because if you don't agree with what they say they will get you banned stay well clear of that person MY advice is do the research your self its a lot easier and you will get better results trust me from experience

Useless and stupid.
They are capable of fining you for parking sinday at 8 o'clock in the morning 🤦

Generally a terrible council

Generally a terrible council. Cant prioritise funds to save their lives, ignore planning breaches by "select parties" claiming theres "no evidence" even if its so significant google earth has recorded it. A Chief Exec that has no idea what her employees are really doing and a senior legal advisor that appears more interested in concealing and assisting wrongdoing than preventing it, (by which I mean preventing developers claiming their 106/CIL contributions back because ABC breached the agreements) essentially this council is all about making money for building developers and if you put a shed up in your garden thats a mm above PD they'll fine you. (hasn't happened to me, its just something I saw in the planning enforcement records that amused me)

Ashford Kent:- best avoid town centre parking fines.

Sadly the message from Ashford Kent is clear:- we do not want unwary pensioners' tourism, shopping or business. If you visit Ashford centre expect a £45 to £90 fine.
LIDL Ashford car park:- be sure to keep your receipts to prove you were shopping, but don't expect a parking refund anytime soon.
Ashford International Station:- don't be surprised if you get a fine even if you pre-pay eg for a weekend. The parking company wardens seem to have their own rules.
Post Office - avoid using Royal Mail for parcel deliveries as parking is some distance away from the Post Office, and the parking wardens are often circling.
Sadly it appears to be better to do shopping or business anywhere else. If you can't avoid Ashford town centre, be sure to keep all receipts and takes photos of parking receipts in the car window. Even though these may not help in appeals to parking companies, the receipts and photos will help in the small claims court.
